Ex 20:3-5
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lordthy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Only God may be worshipped!

Does it...? Says who? That is an assumption. Show me the scripture that directly says Jesus is Yahweh.

Another assumption but no clear scripture....If no one is "good" but God alone, then Jesus was dismissing what was said to him when he was addressed as "good teacher".

In context it isn't saying what you want it to....

"As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone."

If he was God, then he would be "good" in the superlative sense, so he would be saying 'yes, I am good'....but he said "why do you call ME good" meaning that he was not God....do you have a comprehension problem? You are reading into scripture what you want to believe.

Well actually the Jews were not saying that he was claiming to be "YHWH".....he was simply claiming divinity as the "son of God".

Read John 10:31-36 in the Greek Interlinear...

"The ho Jews Ioudaios again palin brought bastazō stones lithos to hina stone lithazō him autos. 32 Jesus Iēsous said apokrinomai to them autos, · ho “ I have shown deiknymi you hymeis many polys noble kalos works ergon from ek the ho Father patēr; for dia which poios one ergon of them autos do you intend to stone lithazō me egō?” 33 The ho Jews Ioudaios answered apokrinomai him autos, “It is not ou for peri a noble kalos work ergon that we intend to stone lithazō you sy but alla for peri blasphemy blasphēmia; · kai it is because hoti you sy, a mere man anthrōpos, are making poieō yourself seautou God theos.”

Jesus was not making himself out to be God ("ho theos") at all in that verse. He had shown them many things "from the Father", not from himself. He did not receive the holy spirit until his baptism when he was given the power to perform miracles. Before then he was just Jesus, the Carpenter Joseph's oldest son.

What he said to the Jews was...

"do legō you hymeis say legō regarding the one whom hos the ho Father patēr consecrated hagiazō and kai sent apostellō into eis the ho world kosmos, ‘ You are blaspheming blasphēmeō,’ because hoti I said legō, ‘ I am eimi the Son hyios of ho God theos’?

The translations that fail to identify "ho theos" as YHWH are failed translations. Look up John 1:1 in the Greek Interlinear and see exactly the same problem....The Word was "with HO THEOS" but he was not "Ho Theos" he was just "theos"...."a god"....a divinely authorized servant of the Most High. (Acts 4:27)

Twisted....

John 5:18...

"This was why dia the ho Jews Ioudaios were seeking zēteō all the more mallon to kill apokteinō him autos, because hoti he not ou only monon used to break lyō the ho Sabbath sabbaton, but alla he legō also kai was calling legō God theos his own idios Father patēr, · ho thus making poieō himself heautou equal isos with ho God theos."

The Jews said that he was 'making himself equal with God by claiming YHWH was his Father.

If claiming to be "the son of God" was blasphemy...then imagine what they would have done if he had claimed to be "God incarnate"!

Jesus the Son of God makes Jesus equal to God thus Jesus is YHWH God.

The Apostle John declared "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God" (John 5:18). John's declaration is composed of four clauses.
  • CLAUSE A: "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him"
    • John declares a "reason" for the Jews desire to kill Jesus.
    • John does not plainly indicate whether the "reason" is valid or invalid.
  • CLAUSE B: "because He not only was breaking the Sabbath"
    • the Jews thought Jesus broke the Sabbath.
    • John knows better than the Jews because John knows that Jesus declares "The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath" (Matthew 12:8).
  • CLAUSE C: "but also was calling God His own Father"
    • Jesus openly declared that Jesus is the Son of God (John 10:36).
    • the Jews heard, and they disbelieved that Jesus is the Son of God, so they wanted to kill Jesus.
    • John heard, and he believed that Jesus is the Son of God, so John followed Jesus.
  • CLAUSE D: "making Himself equal with God"
    • John declares a statement of fact, here in Clause D.
    • John does not write "the Jews wrongly thought that Jesus was making Himself equal with God".
    • John proclaims the Godly conclusion to Jesus proclaiming "I am the Son of God" (John 10:36) is Lord Jesus making Himself equal with God.
    • Jesus being equal with God is the same as Jesus being God because there is One True God (Deuteronomy 6:4).
    • Jesus being YHWH God is Apostolic testimony as recorded in John 5:18.

The Truth (John 14:6) is that Jesus is God for the ever living Word of God proclaims this Truth "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM" (John 8:58) and the Word of God says "I will settle him in My house and in My kingdom forever, and his throne shall be established forever" (1 Chronicles 17:14), so according to the Word, Lord Jesus existed in eternity past and will exist in eternity future which means the Word is uncreated thus the Word proclaims that the Word is YHWH God for there is NO other that exists in eternity past and future (Isaiah 45:5).

Jesus is God with us per the Apostle (Matthew 1:23), so Jesus is truly Almighty God, YHWH, with us (Revelation 1:8)!

God walked with Enoch, so Enoch must be God too according to your logic, but you are in error . Jesus is the Son of God .

Hosea 11.9
For I AM God , and not a man : the Holy One in the midst of thee…

Another anti trinarian verse

then you cannot be Christian!
Reject the Christian faith!
Deny your Lord!
The trinity and divinity of Christ are Christian doctrine!
The incarnation is the fact of God became man!

49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

matt 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

so how can you ever hope to worship God?
No adoration
No temple
No altar
No ark
No priesthood
No propitiatory sacrifice
No gold censor with incense
No holy communion

you stick your hand in the air and say alleluia and think it’s worshiping!

if Jesus is not Divine then he cannot be Lord! Fir there is only one Lord! Deut 6:4
The father is Lord
The son is Lord
The spirit is Lord
But there are not three gods or three lords but one God and one Lord (nature) in three persons

then Jesus is not Lord?
There are many lords , but only One Lord God as Jesus said . Many people have a land lord. But that does not make them even though they may choose to worship them , people worship what they choose , that does not make it right . But I per personally think it’s Good to worship Jesus because he is worthy, and The Lord God has made Jesus and given him all things . Amen !

Jesus is Lord!

If Jesus is Lord but not God, not divine then there would be two Lords!

Deut. 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

The mystery of the holy trinity!
The father is God!
The son is God!
The Holy Spirit is God!

But there are not three God’s but one God!

The father is Lord!
The son is Lord!
The Holy Spirit is Lord!

But there are not three Lords but one Lord!

Justbodg wrote in part...

"I have heard of this 100% man and 100% God before. I don’t know where it originated, but it sounds like Jesus is the only 200% person. You cannot have 100% 2x if Jesus is 100% man. Because then he would have to be 0% God. And if he's 100% God. Then he would have to be 0% man."

The orthodox doctrine of the Trinity is that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and the three of them are co-equal, co-eternal, and share the same essence and together those three individual “Persons” are one triune God. The doctrine of the Trinity that Jesus is both 100% God and 100% man and that both the divine nature and his human nature live together in his flesh body is widely believed. Trinitarians who hold to the “classic” definition of the Trinity say Jesus was 100% God and 100% man while on the earth believe differently from Kenotic Trinitarians who believe Jesus set aside his godhood while he was a man on the earth. My question is this: has there ever been any other concept in the history of mankind that was able to use the math and science that God created to ever speak about anything being 100% and also 100% of something else?
I wasn't asking for someone else's opinion but I was asking you,

now again is there anything wrong with God's likeness and image of a man?
