JESUS DID BUILD the CHURCH and i dont follow them splinters either .
Ummmm – you ARE a splinter.

Your “Lone Rangerism” is not only anti-Biblical – it’s part of the rotten fruit of Protestantism, that is perpetual-splintering . . .
YOU NEED to start testing those who claim to be apostels , cause I DID , and found them liars .
JESUS and the original apostels , THEMS I TRUST . ANYONE ELSE gets tested against BIBLE DOCTRINE .
IF you had done that , YOU would have long ago left the RCC . PS , dont go runing to the Protestant realm either
cause about every leader i seen in those churches , they are MEGA FALSE TOO
You make this moronic claim in EVEE one of your anti-Catholic posts – but you NEVER seem to be able to tell us the “Lies” you’re talking about..

Care to LIST some of them?.
WE are in the greatest falling away i have ever seen . MY advice , CRACK OPEN THE BIBLE AND READ IT FOR YOURSELF .
And ps , STOP calling men MOST HOLY FATHER or most HOLY REVERAND . THEM TITLES BELONG TO GOD ALONE , TO CHRIST
and not to men . PS you dont need to kneel before a statue either or hold on to beads .

We can fully worship GOD through CHRIST , the SPIRIT . I am just trying to help you .
So, I can be as confused and LOST as YOU are?
Uhhhhh, no thanks . . .

I’ve been tryi9ng for MONTHS to get you to explain to me where YOU got your Canon of Scripture – and you always RUN from that question.
If you don’t know where it came from – then WHY do you stake your salvation on it??

WHY do you adhere to a CATHOLIC Tradition and base your very salvation on it – yet reject the SAME Catholic Church that gave it to you
OH yeah , stop praying to saints to mary and to angels .
CALL HER BLESSED , SHE IS , but stop praying to her .

PRAY TO GOD IN JESUS NAME . You will be prayed for as well . MY desire is only good for the peoples .
EVEN if they cant stand me , STILL my desire is only good for them .
WHY??

If it’s okay for YOU to pray to people here on earth for help – WHY is it wrong for me to pray to those in Heaven for help?

If you’re going to “crack open that Bible” – then LEARN what it says . . .

You don't know what I am. Thanks for the information about indulgences but history is not on your side
Indulgence - Wikipedia
Wikipedia??
REALLY??

Sooooo, you DON’T know that Wikipedia is edited by online readers??
Here’s a little hint for you, my uninformed friend:
Don’t trust Leftist sources that can be edited by online members I wouldn’t trust them if they said something negative about Protestants, either.

Here is your FIRST red flag –
WHERE is the reference to the document that promulgated the selling of Indulgences??
The Catholic Church documents EVERYTHING. Soooo – WHY doesn’t Wikipedia at least include the name of a document?

Use your head . . .

The same Catholic Church that gave us the crusades, the inquisition, sold indulgences and imprisoned, strangled and burned people who translated the Bible into English?
This is a stupid inflammatory comment that ends up going nowhere. It serves to feed unwarranted hostilities with both sides listing centuries old atrocities against each other, that mean nothing in today's world.
Exodus 20:16
Deuteronomy 5:20

Even James Swan, an anti-Catholic Reformed Protestant polemicist and controversialist, who has often incompetently and unfairly savaged my research on early Protestantism, freely admits:
There is a sense in which I’m sympathetic to the defenders of Rome who put forth the Tu quoque argument that Protestants have also committed atrocities, so bringing up Rome’s past sins isn’t a logically compelling argument against her . This is why I rarely have written against Rome by pointing out her moral evils.”

History is always on our side. That's why anti-Catholic bigots ignore or dismiss the writings of the Early Church Fathers as meaningless. We don't need to re-write early church history whereas you are forced to. In fact, popes have apologized for the sins of a few crazy Catholics centuries ago, but they do not apologize for the ridiculous exaggerations and false histories from anti-Catholics.
Anti-Catholicism (Index Page for Apologist Dave Armstrong) | Dave Armstrong

The Council of Trent instituted severe reforms in the practice of granting indulgences, and, because of prior abuses, “in 1567 Pope Pius V canceled all grants of indulgences involving any fees or other financial transactions”.
Myths about Indulgences

This is affirmed in your wiki link, that you read through tainted lenses.
455 years have gone by and ignorant anti-Catholics are still complaining about prior abuses. Time to grow up out of your fundie ghetto.

I have nothing against Catholics. I consider them my brothers and sisters. I have issues with the Catholic Church and people who like the one that my post was addressed to claim it is the only Church and everyone else is going to Hell. Protestants have their own checkered history but I don't go around telling Catholics they're going to Hell. Why don't you look at what Breadoflife has posted and give him some advice

I’ll give YOU some advice instead:
You REALLY should stop offending God with your blatant lies (Exod. 20:16).

I have NEVER stated on this forum, nor have I even implied, that Protestants or ANYBODY else for that matter, is going to Hell. That’s NOT my call – it is GOD’S.
The Devil is the father of Lies and YOU are his disciple (John 8:44).

If you are tired of being exposed as a liar – then DON’T lie.
You might be a happier person . . .

Psalm 52:3
You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth.

No – better YET:
Why don’t YOU produce the DOCUMENT that promulgated the alleged “Selling of Indulgences” in the Catholic Church.

You can’t because it NEVER happened.
That’s the problem with you anti-Catholic liars – you’re full of false witness and hot wind – butt ZERO substance . . .

How lovely, but you have no qualms about bearing false witness.

Rodney Stark is NOT a Catholic, so you can't complain of doctrinal bias. Read a brief review of the book here.
I have issues with the Catholic Church and people who like the one that my post was addressed to claim it is the only Church and everyone else is going to Hell.
This is a blatant LIE never taught by the CC. I have the same issues with stupid Catholics who don't know their faith. Any Catholic that asserts this lie is a stupid Catholic, just as there are stupid Protestants who perpetuate myths, as present. There was a time not long ago, when Protestants were taught that all Catholics are going to hell.
Protestants have their own checkered history but I don't go around telling Catholics they're going to Hell. Why don't you look at what Breadoflife has posted and give him some advice
BofL has a firm style (because some skulls around here are so thick) that most people don't like. Then they avoid his irrefutable content by complaining of his firm style.

No offense but the Catholic Church was responsible for the things I mentioned and I have little tolerance for the "We are the one true Church" view. Have a nice day.

Trying to speak to the dead (necromancy) is forbidden in the Bible. The only One we are told to pray to is God.

Much love!

Well, like I could ask you for help changing a tire, right? I pray thee lendest thou your hand unto me . . .

But talking to dead people is commanded against.

Much love!

I don’t condemn ANY of the Protestant factions.

Firstly, because it is NOT my call to condemn anybody.
Secondly, because ALL Protestant groups contain some truth, and in some cases, MUCH truth – and are related to the Church.

However, the FULLNESS of Truth can only be found in the ONE Church established by Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:22-23). It is the pillar and foundation of Truth (1 Tim. 3:15). That Church is the Catholic Church.

The Church does not teach that ALL non-Catholics are condemned. Rather, as Scripture teaches – those who, knowing that it is His Church - openly reject Christ and His Church (Matt. 10:33, Mark 3:28–30, Luke 19:16).

And the Bible doesn’t tell us NOT to pray to Mary or the saints or ANYBODY else because that would be stupid.

EVERY single time you ASK somebody a question or make a request – you are PRAYING to them.
I have already posted the FULL Definition of the word “Pray” from Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary on this thread TWICE already. I also gave DOZENS of Scripture verses of Jesus praying to people.

Just because YOU don’t understand what the word means doesn’t mean that it is forbidden.
