One proof that the resurrection of Rev 20 cannot be today, is because Satan is not yet shut up from tempting man to sin on earth.
Another proof, is how that Wicked man of sin is destroyed on earth.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
Teaching the resurrection of Rev 20, as only being spiritually ongoing today on earth, says that the bodily resurrection of the saints from the earth, is to make way for the final destruction of that man of sin, his armies, and the earth itself.
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
They say that the fire coming down from God, to destroy Gog and Magog and to melt the earth, is actually the coming of Jesus Christ down to earth from the air, to destroy the armies with the beast at Armageddon, as well as all flesh on earth.
Only a fanatic symbolizer, that turns anything in Scripture into symbology, that they don't want to agree with literally, would ever think to turn Jesus Christ and His coming again to earth, as nothing but symbology for the fire of God coming down to earth.
Or, vica versa, to make the fire of God coming down to earth, to symbolize Jesus Christ's return to earth a second time.
That is what must happen, just to reject Jesus' earthly reign with His resurrected saints.
Satan is not only shut up from tempting man to sin on earth today, which defies all Scripture of the gospel telling us to resist the devil and overcome his temptations, even as Jesus did, But Jesus Christ and His armies in Rev 19, is either made the fire of God, or is nothing but a symbol thereof.
