I was asking why they would have unity with it . What i mean is
would we have unity and fellowship with darkness or would we not rather expose the darkness .
WHY is everyone suddenly more and more deciding to go into agreement with that place .
if we love folks wouldnt we expose the errors and convince them , persaude them to cease anything that is contrary to GOD .
yet todays generation has decided to overlook errors and doctrines for the sake of lets just all get along and be one .
Paul would have rebuked this big time . WHERE is the love for the people , And WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR GOD
if we can just overlook error and put humanity above GOD .

And that is exactly backwards.

Christianity is God forgiving and God delivering.

And that is what that "teacher" is teaching.

Christianity is not about trying to do it.
Its about realizing its already accomplished and new we exist IN THIS Redemption.

Paul teaches us to understand that '" i can do all things Through Christ"........ Its HIS POWER doing it.

Notice i didnt just go along with our weakness and sin , I exposed it and rebuked it and said to Cease it .

Upon reading your post again , i see you asked a very good question that i missed to see .
We dont have to throw away our computer or tv . Just dont watch the secular junk . None of it honors GOD .
Weather channel seems fine .
We can watch some news . yeah most of its all political so , its darn depressing to watch that .
But we dont have to throw away computers or a tv . Truly we ought to make more time to spend in prayer with GOD
and make more time to reach the peoples . Make more time for bible reading . Put GOD FIRST
you wont miss TV at all my friend . That is what we should do . All of us . MAKE much more TIME for GOD
to be doing the THINGS HE would have us to do .

that is not legalistic at all . The SPIRIT works through the body . To correct , to remind ,
to stir up , to remind us to DOING , and doers . To remind us to CONTINUE to the end .
GOD KNOWS how to keep his church safe . ITS NOT LEGALISM TO REMIND and tell folks to DO or not TO DO
OR JESUS and all the apostles would have been legalistic . TRUTH is , i dont think that word really ought to exist .
Justification by the law , NOW THAT NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT AGAINST
but reminding of all the warnings of GOD , using the law as a means to correct ungodly behavoir . IS GOOD .
USING the law to justify us , BAD
using the law to correct evil , GOOD .

LOL! This is just "making a mountain out of a mole hill". All you had to do was agree that it's right to turn to another channel or turn the TV off.

The old man of sin, is DEAD.
So, we dont try to kill what is Crucified, and that commentary He's using is teaching Him to try to resist what is Crucified.

That is the sly way that Legalist teacher is getting someone to try to fight sin, which causes sin consciousness, instead.

How does God see you at all times?

1.) Sinless and Righteous
2.) Always kept so by the Blood of Jesus.
3.) Always kept at Peace with God by the blood of Jesus
4.) Always "Made Righteous"

Salvation, which is what God did for you on The Cross, and gives to you as "the righteousness of God, in Christ' means, that God came here to earth to provide you with His Righteousness, because you didnt have any. And until you have His, He wont have you.
So, "the GIFT of Salvation" is God adopting you into His family by His own Blood and death on the Cross. And when He does He gives you a the NEW BIRTH = Born Again....that takes care of all Your Sin, Colossians 2:13 and Gives you His exact Righteousness as "the GIFT of Righteousness".
What does this mean?
It LITERALLY means that if you are born again, you are a "New Creation, In Christ"< made so by being Made the righteousness of God through God's blood that has removed ALL your sin and replaced it with ALL of God's own Righteousness. = "the GIFT of Righteousness".
If you are born again, you are literally as Righteous as God at all times, because God's shed blood keeps your sin redeemed, and God's "gift of Righteousness" always keeps you as Righteous as God.
That is how God SEES you. That is what God Believes about you if you are born again and not just water baptized and religious.
Now, YOU have to exist in that Knowledge of THE TRUTH. You have to BELIEVE what God believes about you.

If you learn to Believe that, and keep that "renewed mind", then and only then, you are in correct faith, because you now see yourself as God sees you, and not as you think you are... according to your wrong believing mind.
God SEES you as Righteous..... and God SEEs you as having no sin, because God Himself on the Cross has resolved your sin with His BLOOD 2000 yrs ago.....= All of your sin is resolved 2000 yrs ago, on The Cross, as the Blood Atonement. This is the "new Covenant" written in Christ's Blood.
If this was not so, you would not be "in Christ", and you would not remain""" the righteousness of God"""", or even have it.
So, until you are able to believe that you are always "Made Righteous"....., made so by The Cross of Christ...and kept so by the Cross of Christ.....then you are not seeing yourself as God BELIEVES, and until you do, you will keep committing works of the flesh, and repenting and repeating.

Paul teaches that ,,,, "as many as be Perfect"... is real Christianity.

And Paul teaches this......"the fullness of the Stature of Christ".

See those 2,? Both of them are explaining the final stage of right faith that is "walking in the Spirit", that is what each born again person is to become, not just figure out...... and that is not related to sin or lifestyle. But its a place of attaining THE "Knowledge of God" so that you do this... = "Work out your Salvation". so that you understand how to exist in it, as its designed.

Now Paul teaches that "all things are LAWFUL for me"....
So, how can "ALL things" be lawful?
Its based on being "Under Grace" which removes the Law's ability to define you as a sinner.

So, for the Born again.....sin is not the issue any more.
The issue is that the born again must learn who they have become, as a "new Creation in Christ".
When we learn this, then we have worked out our Salvation, and our renewed mind is become :The Knowledge of God.

The Knowledge of God, is not about believing that God exists, or to have some dictionary related understanding about God.
That's wikipedia.
No.. The Knowledge of God is God's Knowledge, its His perspective, and God has only one perspective of the Born Again.
They are "made Righteous", and are become a "new Creation". "In Christ", and there is no sin found there.

Consider that the Devil and his followers, the Angels, had sin, and they were cast out.
The born again, all exit...as ..."seated in heavenly places"...."In Christ".
We are there right now, and we could not be there if we had sin.
We dont have it.... because "Jesus is the one time ETERNAL sacrifice for sin"...because "God hath made JESUS to be sin for us".
And Because He has become our sin, and died, then that solves it. " 'The old man of sin is crucified with Christ"..

So, when a person is looking at their carnal deeds through the Law, then they SEE SIN, because the LAW defines it so.
That's the mind of most believers.......That is how you're seeing it, and yourself......you are seeing through the LAW., and that is not how GOD sees you or any of the born again..
But when a person has The Knowledge of God, as their renewed mind.... they then see their deeds as "in Christ", "made righteous" and "have become the righteousness of God in Christ".
See that? That is the Knowledge of God as the "Renewed mind"., and that mind is how we attain "as many as be perfect".
When we exist in that mind, with no shadow of turning, then we have "worked our our salvation".

"Jesus is the ONE TIME...... ETERNAL SACRIFICE......for Sin". "God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us".
God had to make you "righteous", to accept you, and Jesus gave His life for you so that God could do that for you.
Its done.
You are "Made Righteous", and tomorrow and forever you are the same, if you are born again.

And when you learn to BELIEVE THIS as your REAL FAITH. "renewed mind"...., then your very first day of "working out your Salvation" just took a very huge step and the rest is easy to believe once you understand that you are always "made righteous" by the Same Blood and Death of Jesus....always and forever.

Get that "renewed mind" and you will be so amazed at what happens next inside you, and continually, as Christ the Living water washes you by the word" = comes into inner authority within you.... and God's Grace empowers your REAL FAITH as ..."Christ always Gives me the Victory"...

Jesus said..>"apart from me, you can do nothing".
And that comment has to be seen as this...>"the fruit of you trying to be like Me, is that all you can do is NOTHING".

Many believers are doing nothing for 50 ys, other than going to church, and confessing sin and feeling condemned and wondering ........="is this even real"....

How to escape?

1.) You have to understand that you are "made righteous" all the time, exactly the same way you were "yet a sinner" and God saved you when you were first saved.

2.)You have to understand that you are "made righteous" all the time, exactly the same way you were "yet a sinner" and God saved you when you were first saved.

See, God's Salvation took you as a life long sinner, and made you as Clean as CHRIST instantly.
= Born again.... "Made Righteous"..
And the Spiritual KEY you have to BELIEVE... is that this has never changed if you are born again, and it never will.

See, the devil wants you to think this.....>"yeah i know that God forgave all my sin, but what about that carnal deed i did yesterday, and all the others since i was saved"....
And God says.... Through The Cross of Christ.... I forgave your entire lifetime of sin when you came to me, so, do you not realize that my Son's Blood continues to do for you tomorrow what it did for you yesterday....'

"where sin abounds, Grace MORE Abounds".

This means, ""My Son's Blood cleanses the entire world's sin, and so, it has no issue at all dealing with yours FOREVER.""

we have Roku t.v watch lots of older shows i am in agreement my point is not to take the high road just to add to the post/ but make a point where we have failures at when Jesus said the flesh is weak but the spirit is willing.. in todays world that is truth . yes it is out of what the original context is saying.

i often take scripture and use them as a example . last sunday i was given a message on Demas has forsaken me loving this present world. he left paul in prison facing a death sentence went to Thessalonians .1 john tells us not to love the things of the world. the evil influences . they are out there

Many here post scripture without commentary.....the way I see it, the scripture is speaking to the heart of the believer......we all have bibles of course.....as a born again, I thought it would be nice to send you this message, that it would speak to your heart, never mind, if it upset you I apologise, ...

When i see members posting just scripture, I love reading it, because that scripture ,which is God breathed, may speak to my spirit/ heart.

You err @Behold -I think you are into quietism or passivism-that we as believers have nothing to do, what are the Imperatives? It is something WE need to do-sounds strangely "foreign" to our modern Western world.
