It is symbolic of the glorified church. It only happens once.

It is what Paul calls the mortal putting on immortality. It is the putting on of the spirit. Not the Holy Spirit. It makes us complete, soul, body, and spirit.
Actually, Rev. 6:9-11 (Malachi 3:16) is symbolic of Israel of the OC, who were of faith in the Promise to come. We see such people of faith in that of Simeon in Luke 2:25-32. All of such were and are of the symbolic 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel.

Ok, thank you for providing your understanding on Dan. 9:25-27. I do follow your outline very well.
From what I gather from you is that the overall work of Jesus' ministry, was first in mortal flesh, which ended at the cross, but after the cross, and His resurrection into immortality, His ministry by His Spirit is still on going, until He is manifested from Heaven in all His Glory, in flaming fire. Am I hearing you correctly?
BTW, I purposely left out verse 24, mainly because I want to see how others come to understand the 70th week, and where in time they are applying it.
Not quite how it is given in Scripture. No Scripture states Jesus was born a sinner in Adam's dead corruptible flesh, and had to die to receive a glorified body. Neither do I care for those theological terms.

Jesus was conceived in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit and was 100% God. He was 100% human as a begotten son of God. Jesus was not born in Adam's dead corruptible flesh.

Jesus had a soul, body, and was glorified with a spirit. He choose not to walk around in the full son of God image. Of course His body felt hungry, and the temptation and effects of a sinful world. Jesus revealed what having a spirit meant on the mount of Transfiguration. The spirit is put on over the body.

"And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light."

That is putting on the spirit. That is mortal putting on immortality. Jesus was born with that form. So Jesus was never mortal, as is described by theology. Jesus could walk on water and through buildings from birth. He just chose not to always "break the laws" of physics.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit was already at work in Enoch. The Holy Spirit has always been with humans since conception. The day of Pentecost was the contrast between the Law and the Holy of Holies, and now the point each human was the temple of God. Not that all of a sudden at Pentecost, humans now had access to the Holy Spirit. At Pentecost was the fact one could now fully submit to the Will of the Holy Spirit and experience the full power of the work and guidance of the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist was chosen from the womb as an example of what was to come.

However the Holy Spirit has always been at work in us.

My point is that Jesus, Himself was/is the 70th week. The first half was as Christ. The remainder will be as King. Jesus will physically be on earth for the time of Jacob's trouble as their King. Jesus is the Prince to come. Jesus is the one confirming the Atonement Covenant at the sounding of the 7th Trumpet. That is when all the kingdoms, not just Israel are declared fully submitted to the King.

That is after the final harvest, and after the Second Coming which brings Jesus back to the Mount of Olives.

Jesus was cut off, and the time since that point has been for the fulness of the Gentiles.

Sorry, but under the alter is not under the Law of Moses.

The Seals symbolize the sealed church by the Holy Spirit and those under the alter are those redeemed covered by the Atonement of the Cross. Jesus is the symbolic Lamb slain, even before creation started in Genesis 1:1.

The 144k are alive on earth at the time of the Second Coming. They are not the past.

"The 144k are alive on earth at the time of the Second Coming. They are not the past."

Unfortunately, you have it backwards. You have forgotten about the Israel of faith who were looking FORWARD for the Promise to come, who was Jesus.
You may have forgotten about them, but God did not. Malachi 3:16. They are the symbolic 144,000. They are the temple complete* of OC. Israel, who were under the OC., but never during their lifetime, could they receive the permanent indwelling of the Spirit of God the Father, His Holy Spirit.

Because of the shed blood of Christ, they all have been translated into the "book of Life", and are now asleep (resting) in Jesus, being made ready by the gift of His Holy Spirit that IS NOW within them, waiting for the day of their resurrection into immortality upon Jesus' return. Rev. 6:9-11. These are they of whom Jesus will bring with Him, on that Day.
1 Thes. 4
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

But NOW that the Promise had come, the Day of Pentecost, and forward to this day, is the Age of God's Grace through faith in Jesus and His shed blood, whereby there is NO DIFFERENCE between Jew or Gentile. All are equally sinful in the eyes of the Father, and therefore by faith, all have equal opportunity to receive His Grace through His Son. Rom. 10[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

*Note: Ezekiel chs.40-42 is the symbolic measurements of the temple of Israel.
When one does the math, it is all adding up to the number of 144,000, which is symbolically all who WERE the Israel of faith under the OC.

Rev. 21[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Did you know that for the born again Christian, in the Spirit, this is true?
Jesus said this in KJV John 11[25] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
[26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
1 John 5:12-13.

Yes indeed, there shall be no more death.
Though our mortal bodies go into the graves (hell-the pit), we who are saved-sealed in Jesus, shall spiritually never die.

So then, since this is true, that there shall be no more death for the saved, can we say the same for the UNsaved, who know not God and do not obey the gospel of God?? 2 Thes. 1:7-10, Luke 17:28-30
YES, we can!

In the Day of Jesus' return from Heaven, in flaming fire and the fulness of His Immortality, all the unsaved shall be burned up, destroyed DEAD.
Therefore, there will be no one left alive to pro-create the human race.
Voila! "No more death", because there will be no more births.

So there you have it, there shall be no more death,....ever again, for both the saved and the unsaved. Death will have been completely vanquished, upon that day, "when He shall come to be glorified in His saints"
No more death is on the new earth only. But there will still be sickness and injury healed by the leaves of life.

Actually in all truth, the end of death, will take place on the day of Jesus' return in the fulness of His Glorious Immortality.
Luke 17
[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
[29] But the same day [24 hours] that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
ALL the saved will be with Jesus,
and ALL the unsaved will be destroyed.

The Saved- no more births equals no more death.
The Unsaved- no more births equals no more death.

It will be a simultaneous event in the SAME DAY.

So death will end simultaneously as people are being killed? Makes perfect sense! lol

I guess the whole "second death" that comes AFTER the second coming isn't death since you think death ended before it somehow?

The second death is simply this: to not be resurrected into immortality.

All who are born again, by the baptism of the Spirit of Christ, are spiritually risen with Christ now.
By His baptism of us, we have already escaped the second death.
John 3:18, Rom. 8:8-9, 1 John 5:12-13, 2 Peter 1:4, Rev. 3:20.

The tree of life with healing leaves will be in the "new heaven and earth" after this earth is dissolved by fire

The eternal kingdom seen below, where the river and tree of life are present

Revelation 22:1-2KJV
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

It's to die a second time. They are resurrected back to mortality to experience death again.

Right now, during this Age of God's Grace, WE ARE "the leaves for the healing of the nations".
Our preaching of the Gospel message to all the world, is so that they may know that Christ has died for them, so that they may come to Him and be healed/restored back to God through faith.

Actually, no. All the unsaved are condemned already, BECAUSE they choose to not believe in Jesus.
The first judgment of God was death upon A&E, and every generation following.
The second judgment of God is Life upon all who put their faith in Jesus, as God's Only Savior from God's condemnation through His first judgment.
"Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.", and therefore cannot be resurrected unto eternal life.
In fact, all of such cannot be resurrected at all, because the vehicle of God's Gift of Eternal Life, The Holy Spirit, does not dwell within them.

The words "a living soul " is nothing but an autonomous being, having consciousness with self will. Except for oxygenated air, God did not impart anything Eternal of Himself into Adam.
In other words: "man became a living soul",..... he didn't get one.

There is nothing in man of himself that shall live beyond the grave. The Hebrew word for "soul" in Genesis is "nephesh", meaning: "animal life". And we all know that animals do not have eternal existence of any kind.
Study KJV John 3:18 forwards and backwards, and you will see that the two judgments of God are complete.
1 John 5:12-13 is plain enough for understanding.

Is not Jesus Himself the very fulfillment of those words?
Are we not now the body of Christ, His ambassadors through which God's desire is that all might be reconciled unto Himself?
Do we not, who are born again, partake of His divine nature, having the fruit of the Spirit?

2 Cor. 5[20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Yes!! We are the "leaves" of the Tree of Life, who is Jesus.

No more death is on the new earth only. But there will still be sickness and injury healed by the leaves of life.
How can that be when there will be no more pain?

Revelation 21:4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

There can't be no more pain and also still more sickness and injury. That makes no sense.

Revelation 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

When it says "the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations" it's not talking about healing sickness and injuries. It's symbolism representing God's provision of continual perfect health for His people on the new earth.

eternal conscious torment is not death. Death is cessation of life. The second death is death, not eternally dying/
Do you deny eternal conscious torment of the wicked as seen below?

Revelation 14:9-11KJV
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Let's try again!
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the PRESENCE of the holy angels, and in the PRESENCE of the Lamb:
>
KJV 2 Thes. 1:7-10.

11 And the SMOKE OF their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
>
Smoke is the RESULTS of fire, and what it is burning.
Once all is burned, the fire will go out.
However, smoke is Carbon and it can dissipate outside the earth's atmosphere as individual atoms of Carbon. Now that can be forever and ever.

and they have no rest DAY nor NIGHT, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
> If according to how most think about eternal punish-ING, then there is a problem.

There is NO DAY or NIGHT in Eternity.
Day and night is only of this world and it's solar system. Therefore, when there is no more sun, moon....no OLD planet earth (according to the authority of the Holy Spirit through Peter), then for sure there will be no eternal punish-ING.....all will be destroyed, as having never lived.
