Once a person dies, can he make any difference to change the outcome he died with? No.
So in answer to your question......yes.

So in answer to your question......yes.
Without the coming of Jesus, hell is still yet to poured out. Its okay the coworker I started with believes fully in hell. I tired to explain the victory of christ. He is young and quick.

I find it funny sometimes because people really dont believr Jesus has had the complete victory today over all things, and the wrath of God that was in the cup, was poured out on jerusalem.

Here is the only Requirement that God accepts, to save you, me, or anyone.
1.) John 14:6
Believe that verse with all your heart, and God will take care of the rest.
Without faith there can be no righteousness...
"Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness "
Those with no faith cannot have righteousness.
Faith causes actions based on that faith...ergo righteous activities.
Those who make use of such things as "cheap grace" or licensing poor behavior not based in faith are truly acting as if they have no faith...because they don't believe. They want membership in the "good guy club" but simply don't believe or have any fear of God.
So....
God is omnipotent....meaning ALL Powerful. Your next breath is not at God's acquiescence but at His active support. So some will rise to shine immortal and some will never rise as they need to do so on their own power(which they don't have)...just like Jesus did for those who are righteous because of their faith.
And
There is no sin in heaven...no capability to sin. The ability to sin will be stripped from everyone as they enter eternal life. What is left of a person after this might not be much....as in an almost bumbling idiot. So there will need to be a ruling class in heaven. Someone to tell the idiots what to do as work is something that humans were created to do from the beginning. Except this time without sweat and suffering.

Jesus is "eternal life".
So, when a person is Born again "in Christ", as "one with God" = they now have eternal life.
John teaches, that """ you may KNOW that you HAVE eternal life" and this life is 'in Christ".
Jesus is "the Way.....the TRUTH and THE LIFE">..,
Jesus said... """all that believe in me, i give unto them ETERNAL LIFE, and they shall never go to Hell (Perish).""
So, "eternal life" is not what the born again child of God is waiting to receive after they die or are Raptured.
They in fact HAVE HIM in them, right now.... who HIMSELF IS Eternal Life.... which is why you can KNOW you have "eternal life", if you are born again.
Jesus is now at the "right hand" of God the Father....
Meaning that He is eternally alive.
In Heaven with Jesus a person cannot exist inside of the restriction of time. Meaning that time might exist but it is no more difficult to traverse than a hallway....ergo "you were always and will always be there".
Fourth dimension thinking is not exactly the easiest thing to understand and our understanding of it of course is incomplete...but this aspect of it is at least somewhat comprehensible.

Jesus is also ... "Christ IN you, the hope of Glory" (Glory is Heaven). = if a person is born again.
Jesus is also... "He that hath not the Spirit of God (in you) is none of God's", and "Jesus is THAT Spirit".
Jesus told us, that "No man takes my life from me... I have the (authorized) POWER to lay it down and i have the POWER.... to take it up again".
Why, How?
Because Jesus "is THAT Spirit", and That Spirit is the Power of Resurrection.
This is the Holy Spirit.
Paul told Timothy to guard the "Down payment" (literally) deposit the Holy Spirit had made within him.
Guard it...as in it could be lost.
David asks God in the 51st Psalm to not remove the Holy Spirit he had within him.
There remains a bit of "filling" or being made more completeness yet to be had by God.
What that exactly entails I'm not exactly sure of....but I look forward to it.

King David had his ups and downs, but the Holy Spirit never departed him.
However,
Without the Holy Spirit "deposit/down payment " there is no resurrection.

Catholicism translating you are putting your trust in. There was nothing else left of the NT translating when the protestants translated. Its why trinity religions= a mass of confusion.

Jesus said--Matt 7:21--Those living now to do his Fathers will get to enter his kingdom( be saved) he said that will be FEW who find the road--His Fathers will = Man does not live by bread alone, but by EVERY utterance from God. You rely on a single line out of 1540 pages of Gods utterances. That won't work for any.
Even your JW bible says you're wrong. Better start over and avoid Kingdom Hall like plague.

Well, I'm fairly certain God isn't sending anyone anywhere.....and as far as straight goes, I'd say it's probably a circuitous route which people invent for themselves and others not just today but for many days of their difficult sad lives.All that energy spent trying to get to the top of the pile, you know, that greasy pole of being the winner....of being righter than the other.....and like Mr Prigozhin, fall out of the sky when not expected. :)

No your twisting makes you the one who is wrong. God disguised many things to keep satan and his angels in spiritual darkness, and yes mortals. Only those taught by these-Matt 24:45, get truth. And here in these last days, truth has now become abundant( Dan 12:4)- rejected by those who live in the darkness of the past religions who branched off of Catholicism translating.

Paul liked to run the race, and God judges, didnt Jesus talk about separation from believers and unbelievers? Destination founded in Revelation 21-22; unless Jesus hasnt came back then its Paradise and prison in sheol? Gotta go somewhere; most just assume the grave… i dont know why, yes your body dies but if thats all there is to you… then thats a problem in my opinion. Even Jesus died and went straight to hell, in paradise and he traveled to the prison parts before resurrection. Surely there is little room for doubting some destination.

Matthew, I know it is a popular view amongst many that people go somewhere when they die. This in my view is an error which distorts further understandings of otherwise plain statements on death and also what occurs to those who have died when Jesus returns.
Hell is ultimately death. That's where Jesus went, he died. He didn't go to another realm.
Unless this understanding is corrected there are other connections which will not be understood accurately......and a never ending tail chasing pursuit is engaged.
When God told Adam and Eve if they partook of the forbidden fruit they would surely die, he meant just that....a cessation of life. It was the Serpent who told them they wouldn't die; that life would not cease.....and that view has been propagated and modified in many ways both in Christian circles and the World at large.
What did I 'twist'. I'm not JW. That's the JW specialty!
Your own JW bible admits that Jesus is God and Hell fire is everlasting.
Jesus talks about resuurection of life while you may believe in the view you choose. Ill trust him. Jesus also talked about the afterlife. Many dont like the idea of death in general and adam and eve did die that day they died to having a spiritual connection with God. There is abrhams bosom, and prison called hell people went to. Jesus also went there… today since jesus is on the throne; today there is the kingdom of heavenly jerusalem…

Thank you for sharing your view anyqay though i disagree with it. Yes this body dies but your soul goes somewhere; atleast i believe that in faith. And because of Jesus all people will be resurrected.
