No one can be born again or receive the Holy Spirit without hearing and believing to Gospel.
O the day of Pentecost 8,000 Jews heard and believed Peter's Gospel and were born again. Acts 2:41 also Acts 4:4. It was the preaching of the Gospel that gave birth to the New Testament church.
This is why Paul said, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (which is the Gospel) Romans 10:17. You cannot be saved any other way.
Who said they could?...we are brought to believe in Jesus by God..
Then we are Born Again of imperishable seed ?

The Holy Spirit leads us to the revelation that the Gospel that we hear is True.
We hear it, and then faith in our heart, is on us.
We do the believing... God does not do it for us, as @brightfame52 teaches.
We then make that choice to Believe., based on our inner man seeing the Light that is "Jesus is the Savior".
Calvin teaches that you are forced to believe, that you are pre-destined to be made to believe, or you are pre-destined to not be able to believe.
Calvin is a Grace hating, Cross denying, Tool of the Devil
His Theology is from Hell.

That is "coming to the knowledge of the Truth"..
And some see it, and dont want it, or wont have it..., and that is to "sin willfully"... and commit the unpardonable sin.
The unpardonable SIN is is to reject Jesus who is our pardon.. = Hebfews 10:26
So, if we reject pardon, we have committed a sin that is unpardonable., as you can't be pardoned, forgiven, if you reject CHRIST who is our pardon, our forgiveness.
Calvin teaches that the unpardonable sin can't be committed unless you are "pre-destined" to commit it by God, before you are born.

Not if it’s Gods will that they become Born Again..then we will be.as we are Born of Gods will, not mans will....and NO he doesn’t force us to become Born Again...everything is worked out according to his own purpose and plan.
A Born Again who has been predestined to become Born Again...won’t and can’t reject his seed, the Living word of God.
I’m not interested in John Calvin, I have never read any of his teachings...yet supposedly...I’m called a Calvinist,LOL

The seed is the word that is preached..= it produces through the Holy Spirit, the new birth, when the person gives God their faith in Christ.
The "seed" is the Gospel., as the Gospel is the word..
