It was NOT an armed insurrection.
Professing Christians on this very forum schemed and tried to recruit other Christians to go to the WH on January 6th with guns to "take back the election." I believe the insurrection charges. It doesn't surprise me one bit after what I witnessed here!

Have you or ANYONE else on here ever wonder why abortion is still legal?? Because republicans and many democrats are against it. The repubs. would lose one of their two best wedge issues and their base! It is 2024 and repubs. have been the majority several times over but, you never see them honestly working against banning it. You think no repubs. ever pay for or have abortions??!! Ha! You would be so wrong.

Wedge issues separate the people and are well used as a division, brings on hatred, and are mainly used to win elections. I'd put lot's of money down that Trump has probably paid for MANY abortions with his filthy sexual innuendos and behavior.

"If even, the very elect..."
TRUTH!!
Wow, WOW!! Sister, I wish everyone had eyes to see the truth. But it's just like God showed me in 2016 would happen ...people are under his spell, literally like the pied piper. There is a strong entity working with Trump to seduce and blind people.

I agree. Although I cannot judge a woman who was raped and doesn't want to continue the pregnancy as I will never know what it's like to be in her shoes.
I know many many women (and girls) who were raped and forced to abort for satanic sacrifice purposes. Those girls and women wanted their children, and wept for them. My cousin was one, and I as well....

I am speaking about the ones that do choose to have an abortion after being raped.

I cannot judge them.

Then why did Trump KILL Roe V Wade?

You do know the prez does not over turn laws... that would be the Supreme Court over in the judicial branch of government.

Some of his appointees have been very liberal... abortion was overturned because the Constitution does not give the Fed power to regulate it, therefore it needed to go back to the states which is how they ruled.

Yeah, that's what I said, Trump's Supreme Court appointees.

The issue of abortion for Christians is a moral one.
However the USA is a land of 50 states or more originally 50 churches all with their own unique relationship with God.

And so the Constitution was written that the power of legislating various moralities was reserved for the various churches.

It's not up to the federal government to legislate even though many think they should do so.
It's up to the 50 states to legislate the many intricate issues surrounding abortion and parental rights. Including but not limited to paternal rights surrounding a baby in the womb as well as matriarchal rights and the unborn child's rights. Snowflake babies or eggs fertilized in a test tube is an issue that has come up recently which brings into question certain methods of birth control.

It's a complicated issue that has far reaching implications concerning the sanctity of human life as well as couples wanting to have children by enhanced methods (fertility treatments).

Previously the practice was made law by a judicial decision which has no nuances concerning the multifaceted subject. Which is why it needs legislation and not just a court decision.
However, in this day and age of "sound byte" politics...real discussion about the subject doesn't really happen....and our legislators seem to be from a ruling class of AV elites. (Look good and sound good but are involved in civil matters only for personal gains and lie to constituents regularly)

The legislation required is going to be a book in length...to narrowly craft what people of good conscience can live with. Politicians & lawyers, having no conscience whatsoever, are unable to draft such a tome. Then publicize it for public consumption.

Of course, Planned Parenthood who has been selling fetus parts for decades on the open market for research scientists will object. They seem to break the law with impunity....

So....even if we were somehow capable of getting legislation passed...would it be enforced?

The constitution does not say that... it was not written by Christians and
it not a document that favors Christians over any other group or belief system. disagree.gif

Every signatory to the Declaration of Independence had a seminary degree except for Benjamin Franklin. (Couldn't afford school but his Autobiography starts with a very humble expression of thanks to God)

And in that Declaration it detailed how King George was an Antichrist (26 ways) without expressly stating such because to do so would be a sin.

In Thomas Jefferson's famous letter discussing the separation of "Church and State" the "Church" he refers to is what we refer to as one of the 50 states today.

The USA is very much a Christian nation founded by Christians and for Christians. You really need to peruse Black's Law Dictionary to see the things I'm discussing here as it is extremely illuminating....because that Law dictionary is the legal text used for the basis of the Constitution.

So I don't know where you got your information but basically they lied to you. Even the "pilgrims" at Plymouth Rock we tend to use a more modern term of Missionaries today instead of "pilgrims". They came to escape some persecution yes...but not for a luxury lifestyle....they came to evangelize to the indigenous population.

It is as if you walked up to the barn and emptied both barrels from 2 ft away an missed.
At this late hour,it would really benefit you to do a tiny bit of research.

well said.
I fact the first primmer for elementary students was the bible.
John Jay makes it clear to John Murray in 1816 that the United States is a Christian nation. He says, “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation, to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” (William Jay, The Life of John Jay (New York: J. & J. Harper, 1833), Vol. II, p. 376

Problem is the selections are being made for us.
Here, you can choose this one or that one. And neither is perfect.
We will always find flaws.
Politics for me has taken a back seat lately. About the only thing I been following is the Fani and Wade trial in Georgia.
And even that I am falling asleep half way through.
I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks if the Judge decides she will be removed from the case against Trump.
But even so, that doesn't mean another prosecuter can't take the ball and run with it.
But if they did it wouldn't go to court until after the election.

Which one is that anyways I forget. What is Fani prosecuting Trump for?
Oh yeah, about trying to steal the election in Georgia because he made a phone call.

I think they tried that with Ukraine and it flopped.

Look, there's like 15,000 votes that haven't been verified as authentic. They have no signatires, or they don't live where they say they live, or they belong to dead people still on the voter role.
You think you could like, remove them from Joe's tally seeing they aren't authenticated??

OMG, Trump is trying to steal the election.

C'mon man..

lol
hugs

That's not true... and we're talking about the Constitution.

Most of the founding fathers were deists and members of the masons who believe lucifer is the true light

Jut because one believes in a "higher power" that does NOT mean they are Christians ya know.

The USA is very much a Christian nation

No, actually the majority of this nation's citizens despise the Lord Jesus Christ... which is why it's just a matter of time before this nation falls.

The majority of those claiming to be Christians here in the USD follow another jesus and a different gospel...

So I don't know where you got your information but basically they lied to you.

You're the one that has been lied to... did you know, Jesus is not an American?

The Lord does not love the US above all other nations. Did you not know this?

they came to evangelize to the indigenous population.

Yeah, with the heresies for reformed theology! crazy.gif
