Porn is gross… but people like to watch it. Yahavah is always looking to heart though… even a prostitute; Rahab was deemed in the Hall of Faith, by the writer of Hebrews…

I guess if you find a flamboyant gay or lesbian, you decide whether or not you love the person or not within about the first couple of minutes of meeting them…

Just takes a moments thought in the mind to start deciding… I hate this person or you can’t stand them: etc…

Wwjd? He was only hard on religious people of his days… not anyone else; who is anyone to deem that a person still can not be saved despite their own choices of sin which is in front of Yahavah by their heart… and they continue to work out their relationship by and through faith…

There are those who do so enjoy… looking and watching sexual things… be it in real life at a brothel, strip club, gay club… even worse and darker territory… which ultimately it all hurts because sex in the proper manner is enjoyable. Some don’t desire sex at all and abstain…

So… Jesus would consider their plight, and Yahava knows those whom are his; despite disposition:..

I was thinking about this the other day.
Who determines mental illness and mental health? By what standard? Who's standard?
And is it different today than say 100 years ago?
If mental illness becomes the majority then wouldn't mental health be the dysfunction?
There are a lot of sick people on this earth today and more getting sicker by the minute.
I wonder if at some point mental illness will be the new norm.
And who decides?

hugs
Being a sinner Ziggy, is by God's definition Mental illness. It has difficulty joining the dots well; it prioritises the minor over the major; it assumes 'common sense' is the right measure. The Inuit assumed letting a favoured visitor sleep with his wife, as the right thing to do. Killing your enemy in war is also deemed 'common sense'. The Mayan sacrificed millions of children to their God's for favourable outcomes; this was considered acceptable practice. We could go on and on citing examples of what humans consider acceptable, even desirable practices or lack of them.

We die because we have inherited the principle of death. From the cradle to the grave we are marinated in looking after number one above all else....and it takes us South.

Sexual confusion/ dysfunction is another breakdown in God's ideal used to pit people against people or to glorify them.

Ever wondered what the selected Hebrew spies were doing at Rehab's place. Why go there? Was it a cup of coffee or to get a language lesson? .......or were there other urges?

I think glorifying or demonising people ensures we loose a healthy perspective.

It’s defined by what is considered “normal human behavior”....so if it’s outside of that “norm” it is then judged in degrees of abnormality. Symptoms define the classification of mental illness because some symptoms are obviously indicative of certain common illnesses.
And is it different today than say 100 years ago?
If mental illness becomes the majority then wouldn't mental health be the dysfunction?

I believe that is the objective....it’s not just a few here and there....but since CV nineteen, unexplained illness and memory issues have exploded world wide......even young people have memory issues and brain fog. Do you think they want us to have less mental and physical capacity so as to be easier to control?
Wouldn’t surprise me really.....
And who decides
That’s the scary part....

Rahab says, "You boys aren't from around here, are you?"
"No, Mame.", they reply. Rahab says, "Come on upstairs."
(nice boys look at each other, shrug, and follow)
They had been watching James Bond 007 movies when Moses wasn't around.
Probably why they volunteered for the gig.

Send them to hell as He is going to do with 95% of all of mankind.

A sexual.preference and conduct as part of a lifestyle over the objections of God is of course an unrepentant sin. And a lifestyle that says that a person has no faith or belief in God that supercedes their own desires.
I see you have seen a certain Jesus, John, perhaps the Jesus of popular theology but what is definitely clear is you haven't seen Jesus of Nazareth. The Jesus who forgives even when he is not asked to, the Jesus who raises the dead who can't ask, the Jesus who is compassionate to fellows crucified with him, even to those murdering him.

I think many have seen the Jesus of popular theology and assume it is the Jesus of Nazareth. Such is the shrewdness and sophistry of Evil......and we are warned against that.

Is that the best plan he could come up with?
Seems like a fail on so many levels. (sigh)
What's the point? Such a waste.

Omnipotence....
It's not what you think. All power comes from God and returns to God. No one has any that God is not actively supporting...it's not acquiescence but active support. Just like your next heartbeat.

God loses nothing by sending 95% of the world population to Hell. He never was.in this for the numbers. But God's omnipotence demands perfect efficiency as well...no unintended spillover effects...no mistakes.

I see your God fits neatly into your box of assumptions.......and you would set limits on God accordingly!

Not my assumptions....it's the only logical conclusion....and no limits on God. We need Him, God doesn't need us. God has never needed us. God only desires us. Huge difference. And God already has more than enough souls to call His experiment called mankind complete anytime He wishes to.

But as far as Omnipotence goes....if God is not Omnipotent then He is not Sovereign. And if God is not Sovereign then He is not worthy of worship. But if course God is Sovereign and Omnipotent. They go together and are unseparable.

Is volume a measure God uses in love?
Isn't it men who worship power? Isn't humility God's MO?

Has it come to this?

... God so loved the 5% that he sent his only son... ???

Was that Plan A, or Plan B?

/
Only 5%of the world believes....and that is a massive upsurge by comparison with times past. Because before, it was a higher percentage of a small group that was the Believers.

And God is immutable....meaning God does not change. God views things from an eternity mindset....not as we do from a time driven and bound mindset. God's Children never die....they live forever. The rest of mankind dies....and they exist as nothing more than fertilizer for the Roses God pulls out to live forever.

There is common and there is holy. What God created as Holy people have contaminated and made common...they will of course be destroyed. Holy is set apart from common and designed/designated for special use. There is matza and there is Wonder bread at the grocery store. One is used in an ordinance we call communion and one is for sandwiches. We don't observe communion every day...just once in a while. We eat sandwiches every day.

So....those God is going to call Children are set apart /Holy. These do not worship themselves above the Creator. The Creator is above all and over all. (Sovereign)

Yes, but what is OUR attitude supposed to be? God made pronouncements such as that homosexual acts are an abomination......that is HIS judgment and condemnation. But Jesus said that He came not to condemn but to save and that we are to judge not lest we be judged. So while the LORD can make pronouncements and judgments such as that, I believe our place as believers is not one of judging/condemning but rather an intercessory one to continue His earthly ministry while there is still time before God's final judgment does come. It's hard to pray for God to have mercy and save folks if we are condemning them in our hearts. Think we need to think of the lost with compassion, as being captives of the devil that need rescuing.....just as we all once were. Especially those who are suffering. And leave the judging up to God.

We (men) have saddled God with the word 'Sovereign' which implies the domination principle which we then exploit or superimpose.
Does the life (reality) of Jesus reveal this? Washing the disciples feet and his subsequent explanation does not evoke this picture.

As Paul explained in Romans 1&2 that everyone is extended a measure of grace. (Otherwise mankind would have been destroyed a long time ago)

And yet mankind is always seeking to exceed that measure of grace afforded to them. This infatuation with sexual perversion is a direct result of exceeding the grace afforded to mankind by the Earth (as a system) in order to stop them from procreating and increasing sin. Their legacy is ended with themselves. Their moral turpitude is another matter....but it's short lived as well.

So I do nothing with them. I ignore them mostly. The world has spoken of their doom and I don't need to do anything.

Think we need to understand the sovereignty of God in some of these things. Mankind will essentially be his own undoing, led by the devil. But God over all.
Do you see the contradiction in that statement that I can see?
Is the will of humankind superior to God's will?
What does "the sovereignty of God" mean if it is over-ruled by the will of humankind?

... it is God's will that SOME be saved... ??? ( 1 Timothy 2:3-4)

All of mankind cannot overrule God's will. And it has not yet despite their best efforts.

The "Last Soul" has yet to be saved....have they been born? Because there is going to be "the last soul"....unknown who, when, where, how, or why this person exists....but there is ONE.

And when they are....it's over. Although things will look as if things are going on as expected as if There is juice left in the wine press of God's wrath....but God is going to throw it all out anyway.

And you are either set apart or in with the crushed grapes.
