I ask because I keep half an eye on Muslim persecutions of Christians globally. I don't know if it's the same Muslim sect or not. A very recent one was in Syria where they bombed a church during services and killed 23 injuring over 60. It was the Greek Orthodox Mar Elias Church in Damascus. That was about a week ago.- a suicide bomber.

not doubt, I have seen from previous posts you are knowledgeable, I am not well versed in end time prophecy but am learning. many prophecies intertwine and I have not yet figured them out by lack of historical knowledge but certainly Islamic countries will be part of the end times such as turkey, Iran and others as well. It is difficult to figure out who "and the other horn which came up, before which three fell," are.

Daniel 7 can be broken down into two separate time phases for the events described in the chapter.
verses 1-12 spans many years from the time that the beasts started to stir up the sea of humanity up to the end of the sixth age, which will occur in around 20 years' time when the fallen heavenly hosts, the four winds of heaven, and the Little Horn will be judged and imprisoned for a season and then released for the Little While period. Between verse 18 and 19, there is a period of 1,000 years, which is the summer season of the great harvest of souls, after which an angel unlocks the prison and allows the Beasts/Winds of Heaven, the Little Horn/false Prophet and the judged king of the earth at Armageddon to be released from the Bottomless pit and during the Little while period they including Satan will attempt to overcome God and His purpose for Mankind before they are captured and dispatched into the Lake of Fire.
The Beast of Daniel 7:19ff is an amalgamation of the four beasts of Daniel 7:1-12 who all act in unison to undo what happened while they were in prison in the Bottomless pit.
The religion of Islam may survive without any spiritual influence during the summer season that the Beasts and Satan are imprisoned in the Bottomless pit for 1,000 years.
When Jesus is given dominion over all of the peoples of the earth in Daniel 7:13-14, it is recorded that the people of the earth should worship Christ if they chose too. In the Parable of the Talents and Minas Satan's Good and Faithful Servants will endeavour to impede the peoples of the earth from becoming an integral part of God's Everlasting Kingdom, however, because of the activity of Satan, the beast and the False Prophet during the Little While period, many people who are alive during this time, will fall away but those who hold strong and send their roots down into His Fertile Soil/field, they will inherit the whole earth and live with God on the earth to worship Him with all of their strength.
It may all sound complicated, but God's salvation plan is very simple. Simple embed ourselves in God's fertile field to draw all of our nourishment from God alone as described in the Parable of the Sower. It is the only place to be safely embarrassed in His love to receive His promises for eternity.

God speaks of the perpetual hatred between Esau and Jacob (Israel) because Jacob took Esau's birthright and his blessing - Genesis 27:35-41 (WEB):
(35) He {Isaac} said, “Your brother came with deceit, and has taken away your blessing.”
(36) He said, “Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? {supplanter} For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright. See, now he has taken away my blessing.” He said, “Haven’t you reserved a blessing for me?”
(37) Isaac answered Esau, “Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants. I have sustained him with grain and new wine. What then will I do for you, my son?”
(38) Esau said to his father, “Do you have you just one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, my father.” Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
(39) Isaac his father answered him, “Behold, of the fatness of the earth will be your dwelling, and of the dew of the sky from above.

I am well away why the Islamic clerics hate both Jews and... Christians, and how they claim Isaac stole their Birthright, since Abraham's actual firstborn male child was Ishmael.
But they do not care about what GOD Himself has promised, and that's the difference. They don't just represent a particular hate-group against Jews and Christians, they represent a worldly system of thinking, faulty thinking like the birthright is to go to the firstborn by reason that it has been a well established law, so it should apply (they think) even if The One Who made the rule wanted to change it. They thus disregard God's Promise to Abraham that was beforehand, that His Covenant to Abraham would continue with Isaac, the seed born through Abraham and Sarah, and not Abraham and Hagar.
Likewise with Jacob and Esau, many think Jacob stole the Birthright from Esau, but that is not true, and is probably a planted lie coming from Esau's or Ishmael's children. God had already told Rebekah there were two manner of people in her womb, and that the elder (Esau) would serve the younger (Jacob) (Gen.25). And Esau traded his Birthright to Jacob for a bowl of food (Gen.25). So the Birthright no longer belonged to Esau, he profaned it. And the blessing from Isaac that Esau cried for was actually that his fate would be 'away from' the things which Jacob was blessed with (KJV, as with some other Bible translations, has a translation error with that, showing Esau's blessing was opposite of Jacob's.)
Thus Cain was a firstborn, and did not receive God's Blessing.

It has been well documented by secular as well as Jewish sources, that 90% or more of the inhabitants of the modern State of Israel, are in fact, of European descent. The have no genetic connection to ancient Israel. None. Period.

My thoughts, it all starts with Genesis, the book of beginnings Isaiah 46.10. The brothers of Isaac and Jacob, who are Ishmael and Esau. Their blessings and birth tell the story of their future. Gen 16.11,12, Gen 25.23, Gen 27.39,40

This conclusion is not justifiable : only about 10% of Muslims are Shia, and it isn't even all of them who are "Twelvers".
