Whenever the government wants to enforce tyrannical technology, they will create havoc on current tech and then say: 'we have improvements coming'

Agreed, the typical "problem, reaction, solution"

They always have that less than desirable solution for the problem they themselves created for its introduction.

We enjoy our illusion of absolute autonomy through anonymity.

There isn't any....we never had it. Never will either.

The worst current abuse is in the UK currently....
You can get arrested for posting the Union Jack online (their national flag)

How difficult would it be to go after Christian's next?

The US Gov't is discussing national ID....separate from Social Security (because they destroyed that database)

I will never be ashamed of the Good News for it is the power of the Messiah to transform lives.
Me? I'm a harmless old guy. God? Yeah....He's the one you need to watch out for.

"I want to die like Grandpa, peacefully and in his sleep. Not like the passengers in his car who were all screaming and panicking."

How about Elon's brain chips?

Revelation 13:16-17
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads,
17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

I believe Elon is one of those transhumanists. Insofar as the whole brain chip thing goes, it's being packaged and sold to the public for assisting "the lame to walk" by it .

Who would protest such a thing?

Afterall, Jesus healed the lame to walk and so Elon will attempt the same with a brain chip.

It's a smart narrative to run with.

Its just that Windows 11 has that Co pilot Recall, which I find is invasive, it takes pictures of what you write every 5 seconds, what if that gets hacked? You just never know with these things, it just feels like backdoors are being created using AI there are no laws for AI so it can be used for anything, why knows? The whole tech industry is creepy and most of the seem to have no morals so why would want to trust their invasive installations and psuedo reasons for insisting they are ther (despite all the protests against them)? It makes no sense unless they intend for these to do more than what they say they are for.

This is probably not the best video, I cannot recall the few I had watched, but many people do not want Windows 11, for that Co pilot Recall thing.

Many people do not want to change over so they are now offering a free ESU upgrades for an extending period of time, and then there is this on this play.

For me, I dont do online banking or store any financial info online, or have subscriptions, or anything like that, so using a computer is purely for studying, and Christian community.

And so my thing is, I do not want a Microsoft account, I do not want AI or Recall, or to sign up for something that requires subscriptions. I dont do subscriptions because getting out of them (or ending them) has proved to be almost impossible with many of these corrupt corporations which end up putting you on an AI loop (taking your money anyway (with the banks allowing for it). There is another video showing what those who have asked for subscriptions to end and wht they are putting people through (Requiring certified mail cancellations, received three times even with signiture required while still taking the customers money monthly etc). To me these things are just one big trap, I just want nothing to do with it.

So I am just purchasing older Windows 10 laptops to use offline only, because thats another thing (which I have heard more than once) in order to use Windows 11 (whether its the newer version) you need a Microsoft account to even use what you purchased (even if using it offline). That just is not acceptable to me. So I might experiment with a couple of laptops, by letting them go, and when they fail, end my time online. Because there is no need for me to be online, I can study offline (as I do online) even though I prefer the online tools, I have created my own little keyword search engine on a few flashdrives that work more perfectly for me. But I would miss participating on a Christian forum from time to time. I have been getting ready for this for some years so if the plug was pulled on me I would be completely unaffected by it. I am glad did all that though.

Edit: Windows 11 not 10 has Co pilot
Thank You for the FYI

i will be switching back to W-10

What is happening,
A vonNeuman prediction is coming to fruition.
He stated that human intelligence grows in a linear fashion but machines learn/grow smarter on an exponential fashion.
Meaning two separate growth curves....and when they ultimately intersect we will no longer be needed due to obsolescence.

How to get around RFID chips in your refrigerator water filters

I don't have a water or ice dispenser so this is useless to me but alot of people have these. They are making the filters so you cannot use generic filters and must pay full price for theirs, here is how you can get around that in this video if you would like to.

We should have hack thread huh?

Who wants this stuff? clfh

I know, some people do.

I grew up in a different time so these sorts of things just seem so weird to me. I would hate something eyeballing whats in my fridge and sending me a text for every little thing like that.

Because sometimes I only buy something for a specific occassion or recipe, or maybe I bought it to try it (and decided I did not like it) but its still in the fridge until we clean out the fridge toss it into the truck and head to the dump.

It just has this unnatural micro-managing feel to it.

Agreed.
I don't want some chic named Alexa eavesdropping.

Kids today though are being led to be served by technology.
Your car will park itself,no need to know how to parallel park.
All manner of Tech there at your command.

Oh,yes. Very true.

There's a Sam's club in the next town. They prefer to hire young people. No one over 40,if that.

A friend's daughter shared their multiple choice application with us. One of those hypothetical scenarios type questionnaires.

Every question included the option, answer, "ask my manager".

The grading system is green flag,i.e you're ideal for the job, yellow flag, possible hire. Or, red flag. Not suitable.

Sam's, like Walmart, purports to see employees and departments as a team.

So,with that in mind she answered. Save for one or two questions that did require management, she answered in the spirit of teamwork.

And earned a red flag.

No job.
Why?
She has a friend that works there. And they clued her in.

Sam's doesn't want employees to think and act independent of supervision. Ever.

Now the age limit makes sense.
