Hi there,
So I guess I am nothing, if not honest to a fault: I really and truly thought I could 'rush' the Rapture! It was just a matter of working out what the fool would believe, how he would see killing the faithful as a favor to God and imagining that the Devil would justify him. But God does not simply rescue us from danger we merely imagine! I guess I have to humble myself! In a way I am relieved, the Rapture will be a strength to those on Earth, when it comes, because God will not allow it to be taken or presumed upon by those on Earth - the will of Man has nothing to do with the spiritual state of the relationship men (believers) have with God.
You can imagine Jesus laughing at me, right? "Son, the Rapture is there to help people commit to God, " you can imagine Him saying "It is not there to force people to change their imagination about God [on its own]" Well, you got me stumped! That's what I want to say: I am that committed to the end, for me, it could be today. I don't want to be mean; people should have every opportunity to believe. Jesus could play His hand and surprise us for a moment, but what good would that do in the long run? I guess this is about learning the wisdom of the Rapture, developing a heart of compassion for those whose struggle with the Lord is unguided.
Power to God! If He keeps want to send one Rapture after another, so be it! The point is that we have a relationship to God, which is everything to us - God loves that!
I hope this has been encouraging.
God bless.
PS. And the lesson is: don't try to rush people's Rapture! You'll feel sick!
