I've lost more weight and kept it off on a low fat, low carb diet. It's natural for me. The Lord to me to eat high fiber bread.
You have found your diet niche. :)
Each person should do what is best for their health. High carbs like bread and such causes major issues for me and many people. That's why a lot of people get great results eating high protein and high fat rather than carbs. For me, being 6 or 7 years on high fiber keto (and couldn't afford meats, let alone animal fats)..my digestive system shut down. I couldn't digest food anymore until I was on carnivore for a few months.

Have you tried Sourdough and Rye bread?

I tried all the healthy breads I could get my hands on in years past. I have absolutely no desire to go back to high fiber, high (net) carbs ...or any carbs over 10 a day (preferably 5 or less). I don't function well on significant amounts of carbs. There are small amounts of carbs in eggs and dairy. That's enough for me. I drink a little raw A2/A2 milk now and then (not daily), or make carnivore ice cream with low temp pasteurized heavy cream.

This heart doctor answers the questions around cholesterol and carnivore, or high meat and egg consumption.

I occasionally watch Dr. Sten Ekberg on YouTube. From what I can tell (which isn't much), he seems to be really solid. From what I remember, he seems to advocate for high fat diets with the healthy fats from animal meat, etc. He seems to be pretty against sugar, though. I'd love to see him have a conversation with this heart doctor, haha

Yes, it sounds like they have the same or similar views on diet and nutrition. Doctor Ovadia has written a book called, "Stay Off My Operating Table." He advises people to get off the carbs (sugars, breads, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc) and eat high fat carnivore. :)

I once met a woman who said she lost her diabetes after being on the carnivore diet for awhile. I've also read stories of people with chronic heart failure having healthy hearts after switching to the carnivore diet.

It seems there really is something to your body healing itself once in that state of autophagy, (which is what keto apparently aims to trigger by reducing carbs).

Anyway, I'm sure you probably have more stories about it than I do, haha.

Dr. Atkins called it Ketosis when your body swaps over to burning fat. You get a headache for a day or two at the beginning.

Ketosis is great. It gives a lot of energy and mental clarity. Unfortunately I broke mine over a trifling bit of Chinese food. It should come back in the next couple days.

I've never heard of anyone losing babies because of carnivore. I've heard many dozens of testimonies to the opposite ..mainly because a body needs healthy fats, especially cholesterol, for hormone production. I'd like to ask the woman you met how long she was doing carnivore, if she lost babies prior to carnivore, other pre-existing health problems before carnivore, etc. So many people are unhealthy and sick because of a horrible diet over a span of decades and so it's not going to heal overnight. For many, some symptoms go away in weeks, and other symptoms/issues take months or gradually over years. Her pregnancy losses were most likely due to pre-existing health issues.

For me, I dealt with several trauma-injury related conditions like costochondritis, Tietze Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome to name a few. There were times when I couldn't lift my head off the pillow or use my arms because of dislocations (shoulders, base of skull issues) ...dislocated ribs and hips, twisted spine, etc, and often had to use crutches. But as of almost 3 years ago (after being on carnivore) my pain levels are down about 85-90% ...my balance is restored, have more muscle tone, better muscle strength ...and I'm not using crutches. I praise God every time I have to reach an upper cabinet and my shoulders work, and my ribs aren't feeling like they're crushed.

Wow, that's quite the testimony for the carnivore diet. And not babies - she said she was cured from her diabetes!

Perhaps the term "lost her diabetes" was an odd choice on my end

Phew! LOL! Yes, I've heard many testimonials of people overcoming diabetes on carnivore. I have a family member who has gone "ketovore" and quickly reversed their diabetes ...quickly, as in one week. lol

I apologize! I misread your post. lol
I have been working outside in below freezing temps getting things in place for my cats, chickens, and dogs to keep them cozy. I'm a bit tired, but now I need to cook! lol

I do have an amazing chiropractor who is also a wonderful friend (and a believer). She has helped me a lot. But prior to carnivore, I was having to see her once or twice a week. Now, about twice a month for maintenance. I sometimes go over a month without needing an adjustment. It's a huge improvement for me.

Cured from what stage of diabetes ?
Some can be pre diabetetic ! or just become a diabetic ! and then could be cured. but still have to look out what they eat.

My Father in law is pre diabetic and 95yo. and as right as rain and still driving.

My elder brother has been on that carnivor diet and he has got a gut on him like a horse ! just got fatter and fatter.

She said she had the supposedly incurable kind, or the 'worst' kind. Whatever it was

But hey, she could have also been a pathological liar sml

But I like to assume honesty in people generally.

Huh. He must be cheating on the diet.

Supper was 3 soft fried eggs and 2 burger patties (about 8 to 10 ounces total) with a bit of Amish butter melted over the burgers.

I buy grass fed ground beef and add seasonings into the meat before I make the patties. I also add several drops of Lugol's iodine into the mix. I do 3lbs of meat at a time and add pink Himalayan salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder ...and a bit of applewood smoked salt from my local health food store.

I drank some filtered water with electrolytes, salt, and creatine powder in it. I make that up in a 32oz serving and sip on it over the course of an hour.

Huh. Coincidence. Burger patties and eggs were my supper last night. Just salt and pepper and fried my eggs in olive oil butter.

I thought that Diabetic is due to ones Pancreas organ is crook.

But like when one looks on forums regarding such as Diabetic people saying what they claim ? one has to know a lot more about who they are, like as in a Doctor would know ? not just some dude saying this or that. and we do not have a clue in regards what this dude is coming from, so such things just become a rabbiting on joke.

I have a mate and he is fit and solid like not fat at all he is 55yo and has has high Colestrol problem ! had 2 stints put in and has not eat meat for 2 years and it's still way to high ! and he was freeking out to me about it this march. he lives 5hr away so I do not see him much anymore. we would ride dirt bikes, now I am to old to do that. so I do not see him like did.
He is Italian desent, normaly italians are fine in such regards with what they eat.
But another Italian mate of mine he was on about blood groups and a diet's in relation to that, is worthy of regards all such.

But I do not know. all that my doctor demands of anyone is do not eat Butter or Margerine at all !!! he says it's number one bad.

So I am thinking that this mate maybe eating cooky's and cake's etc. something is wrong ! and his wife is freeking out that he is loosing the plot and can not control him at all ! he has gone out and bought the most powerfull bike and bought more land to build another house more out in the sticks from town.

I know that their is another colestrol drug out now, you get jabbed with it and last 6 months ? but talking to someone like that on the phone, I do not think is the way ? so I don't !

Be careful about dyspepsia/digestion and gallbladder issues - they may be caused by too much fat in a diet.

Not in everybody, it is individual.
