You only stand because there are Christians who reject your pacifism.

That’s not true. You need to study Islamic history and Christian history. I documented a case of the Crusaders coming upon a city which was occupied by Muslims, Christians and Jews. They slaughtered everyone in the city - Muslims, Christians and Jews. They spared no one.

Otherwise, you'd be slaughtered as kafirs by Jihadi's.

No. I’ve already been offered sanctuary in the mosque if (the Imam in Atlanta said “when”) people like you threaten my life.

@Wrangler stands with the Crusaders. I stand against them. Muslims (and nonMuslims) aren’t food (unless you’re a Crusader).

I shouldn’t have to say it but I do: Jesus did not command his followers to kill and eat their enemies.

P.S.

How many here would kill their enemies and eat them? How many here wouldn’t kill their enemies and eat them but would support those who did (in the past) or would (in the present or future)?

Someone has to.

At this time, I think you probably always will.

“The crusaders spared no one in their savagery; they murdered old and young, they raped women and girls - even nuns - in their frenzy. They also desecrated churches and plundered treasuries, and much of the city was put to the torch. In celebration of the victory, a prostitute from the crusader army climbed onto the altar of the Hagia Sophia and gyrated to obscene songs; barbarism cloaked in the mantle of religious warfare had swept aside one of the great civilizations of history. … History has judged this as the crusade that went wrong and even today the violence and brutality of the western knights provokes deep ill-feeling from many Greek Orthodox towards the Catholic Church.”

Jesus didn’t command his followers to do what the Crusaders did.

You stand with them. I stand against them and against you.

I’m reminded again of my immature high school buddies who thought it endlessly funny to say amongst ourselves: “They can kill but they can’t eat us. That wouldn’t be civilized.”

Now here I am, a little over fifty years later, speaking against the uncivilized who killed and ate their enemies and he who stands with them.

It only took you 887 posts to admit this. Still, you deny this is the reason for Christ's soulful commands to buy a sword and give to Caesar.

Again, you obviously haven’t read all of my posts. One of the few positive things I can say about you is that you told me yourself that you haven’t.

I never dreamed back then that I would ever meet someone like you.

“1. We are undoubtedly faced every day with evil that is pointed directly at us. Satan knows how, where, and who to use to do the greatest damage to our Christian walk. Don’t be surprised. It will happen, if it hasn’t happened already.”

(Chuck Jones, Living Today The Kingdom Way, p. 23)

I’m not surprised now. Eighteen year old me would have been.

***

I implore my Christian readers, don’t allow Satan to damage your walk. Put on the armor of God; not the armor of the world.

Yea, someone who takes justice seriously.

The Crusades weren’t about justice, and they weren’t about obeying the command of Jesus to his follower to go to all nations, making followers for him.

All you ever do is pay it lip service in theory but denigrate it in practice.

Think of all the followers of Jesus throughout the history of Christianity who didn’t, don’t, and never will call what the Crusaders did “justice”.

Even the pope has apologized for what you happily support.

Yea right! Why don't you articulate now all these wonderful posts you've made recognizing man's soulful needs - like justice - in terms that are not derogatory or pretending they are sinful?

What the Crusaders did was evil. Don’t support evil.

The Crusades weren’t about justice
LOL

I"ve asked you dozens of times to explain what the reasons FOR the Crusades are. You passed every time. Suddenly, you're an expert on what they are NOT. You're just not a serious human being. Pacifists tend not to be but cowards.

Only to have you say again that I haven’t? I’m not going to do that.
