About Paul, I am critical of the way he wrote. but I do not reject him but the complicated way me mixes concepts together that confuse so many. Paul was trained under Gamaliel, a respected teacher of the law. Because of this, his way of writing follows the style of the learned men of his time. He often builds long arguments, uses deep reasoning, and connects many ideas together. This kind of teaching can be hard to follow, especially for simple readers.

That is why even in the early days, some believers found his writings difficult. The apostle Peter himself spoke about this:
2 Peter 3:15–16 (KJV)
“And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

Paul wrote with a trained and complex style, and because of that, some things are not easy to understand. When people twist those hard parts, it can lead them away from the truth instead of toward it. it is why I prefer to use the words of Jesus but not exclusively, I do quote Paul when he is clear about something. It is to avoid long arduous arguments. Also the way to salvation is perfectly explained by Jesus own words in Matthew, John, Mark, and Luke. so it you start a new thread I will gladly discuss.

I'm glad that you are beginning to change your view on Paul. I absolutely agree with Peter on Paul's writings. Much can be terribly confusing and we do see the results today- but having said that- Peter wasn't blaming Paul- instead he pointed to those who abuse or twist what he wrote- and we do see that today- but 9/10 it is about cherry-picking verses. He wrote A LOT- and we need to take it all into consideration and meld it with the other apostles and the Lord. It' works very nicely when we do.
I'll start a thread but not just yet. I will tag you when I do. I'm a bit busy this time of year.
It's not a terribly popular view as I can see.. but I think that is because many have been trained to think that of Sunday as the Sabbath.
Some do know it's every day, but they feel they've done their part on Sunday which is also wrong think.

Remember, Jesus always said after a healing go and Sin No more? jesus did in fact ask not to sin. can we on our own? Remember Jesus dis say he would send us the Holy Spirit to help, so yes its possible to sin no more of he would not have asked.

1. King Salomon at the end of his life.
2. Judas who saw all the miracles, even performed miracles by the authority of Jesus, only God knows what went wrong in that brain.

Jesus clearly calls a person to leave sin.
John 8:11 (ASV)
“…Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.”
This shows the direction. A person who comes to Him is not meant to stay in sin. The call is real.

But Jesus also shows that this is a daily walk, not something finished in one moment.
Luke 9:23 (ASV) “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

So the believer is learning, growing, and choosing what is right each day.
we are not left alone to do this.

Jesus promised help.
John 14:16–17 (ASV)
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive…”

John 14:26 (ASV)
“But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.”
This means we are not trying to overcome sin by our own strength only. The Holy Spirit teaches, reminds, and helps us walk in what Jesus said. This is why change is possible today.

Still, Jesus also shows that we may stumble, and when we do, we must turn back, not stay in sin.
Matthew 6:12 (ASV) “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”
He teaches His disciples, his followers to ask forgiveness, showing that when we fall, we return to God.

And He shows the heart we must have:
Matthew 18:21–22 (ASV) “…Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?…
Jesus saith… Until seventy times seven.”
If we are to forgive again and again, it shows that God also receives the one who returns sincerely.

At the same time, Jesus gives a warning:
John 5:14 (ASV) “…sin no more, lest a worse thing befall thee.”

So this is not permission to live in sin. The direction is always away from sin.

buT today everyone seems to be preaching NOT JESUS , NOT the DIRE NEED TO REPENT and BELIEVE ON HIM
but a fairy tale fable of how its okay if one believes not and that we must just be one for world peace .
WE are BEING LIED TOO my friend . Now bible up and fast . YOU SEE again the words of JESUS
and later of the apostles .
