But this issue isn't about what happens to me, or the church, it's about the offence against God. An apostate church using the government as a vehicle for legislating a man made commandment that legally coerces the nation, and later the world, to deliberately set aside the 4th commandment of God's sacred and holy law in favor of a pagan idolatrous submission to the authority of the Antichrist. There's no defending that.

Definitely no. It is illegal now for Pastors to pray for the alphabet people. Even if they ask for prayer. There are several other restrictions as well. A Christian professional rugby player a few years ago lost his contact and his standing as a national representative for posting the following on social media...

“9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ”

It was considered a being homophobic and offensive. Interesting that there were no drunkards or adulterers protesting.

We certainly didn't.

They didn't suspend the Constitution during the lockdown. And Martial Law was not declared.

Consider too if you will that when speaking to those in a different country,their understanding of laws and Constitution have no relationship to that of the United States of America.

California's Liberal governor attempted to violate church Assembly and freedom of religious worship forbidding churches to operate unless fettered by the new rules. Masks,limited numbers in closed spaces. Staying at a distance from one another.

One would think it a regression to medieval ignorance in thinking those measures stopped the spread of a virus.

One pastor that I know of,RIP, refused to comply. And later won a lawsuit for violation of religious rights in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Fostering fear paradigms do not help anyone. And certainly shouldn't be ushered in so to disrupt Christians sense of peace and security.

The United States Constitution protects We the People from the overreach of Government.

I think it important to always remember that.

I ran across a post on X this morning by Senator Mike Lee.
He posted:

As of two days ago, the Pentagon recognizes every Christian faith in America as Christian Except one ...

There is a video he made concerning I believe it concerns Latter Day Saints or Mormons.
I'm not sure which denomination he is, I think LDS.

He then followed up with another post:

I just got off the phone with President Trump We discussed the Pentagon’s “Christian list” I won’t speak for him, but I’m thrilled about where this is heading We’re most fortunate that President Trump (1) loves Latter-day Saints, and (2) is our commander in chief

I don't have a denomination that I adhere to. I just have a very strong intertwined Relationship with the Lord.

Frankly I don't give a care what the Pentagon considers Christian.
And why would the Pentagon be "making a list" ?


But it made me consider the question:
How many Christian faiths are there?
Because as far as The Holy Bible goes, there is,
Eph 4:5
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

We are living in some very peculiar times.
I believe in the separation of church and state. I believe that the world is carnal and christians are spiritual.
Difference between night and day, darkness and light.

We don't follow the dictates of the Pentagon or who it decides to classify as Christian.
That's God's job.

I like Senator Mike Lee. And maybe this is some kind of message that he is sending, telling us the Government is watching?
Making a list even.
I don't like that.

I don't care what denomination anyone follows as long as they Follow the Lord before all others.
Colossians Chapter 2 comes to mind:

Col 2:20
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
Col 2:21
(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
Col 2:22
Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Col 2:23
Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

But what kind of effect do you think this will have on Judaism, Muslim, and other non-Christian "Religions" ?

When they passed the Patriots Act right after 9/11 they also had a list.
I'm just saying, is he warning us? Or do you think he feels legitimately discriminated against?
I think it's a warning that the "Pentagon" is sticking it's nose where it doesn't belong.

Just thought I'd share this.

The reason I started the thread wasn't so much to do with Religion in and of itself.
It was about which groups of people who define themselves as "Faith based " should receive Military compensation for becoming a "Chaplain" for each of these individual groups. Including such as Druid, Wicca, there is a whole list I posted in earlier.
I did a little research and found that each "Chaplain" can receive up to 190K plus food, housing, travel, etc.
All at the expense of the taxpayers dime.

So Pete Hegseth the Secretary of Defense/War, went through the Department basically cleaning house and removing some of those entities which considered themselves a Faith Religion in order to have employment.
There was a lot of hard feelings among a lot of those "Organizations" that considered themselves member of the community of Religion.

But I hear what you are saying.

There are far more than five: there is only one God; God is eternal and created everything; God is imminent and transcendent; God is distinct from creation; the literal, physical resurrection of Jesus; salvation is found only in Jesus; the return of Jesus; a final judgment; we cannot earn our salvation; etc.

Well dvout men of God from many denominations that believed gathered and prayed earnestly about the minimum one needed to believe. All those things you mentioned are vital doctrines but those come in time.

All one needs to believe to be saved is the Jesus is Lord and that God the Father raised Him physically from the dead as Paul declared in Romans

So, by their reckoning, Mormons and Modalists are still Christians, despite polytheism and Modalism being heresies. That is a problem.

All one needs to believe to be saved is the Jesus is Lord and that God the Father raised Him physically from the dead as Paul declared in Romans
And yet a Christian, someone who is truly saved, cannot deny any of the things I presented, along with many more. From Rom. 10:9 alone, "confess" and "believe" imply the necessity of faith. Confessing "Jesus is Lord" implies salvation through Christ alone. Implied in "God," is that there is only one God. Monotheism and salvation by faith through Christ alone are absolutely fundamental.

That list knocks JWs out totally-- BUT IF THEY WERE ON HERE now they would say they agree to those. deception is just that- deception..

1. Deity of Christ- JW- we believe he is deity and divine.. what they mean--- a god- = created archangel)
2. Virgin Birth- JW --Of course- we believe that! what they mean--- -----Michael's life force was put into Mary's ovum
3.Blood atonement- JW--Of course we know Jesus died for our sins-- what they mean --your physical death causes you to become sinless.
4. Bodily Resurrection-- JW-We believe Jesus ROSE.-- what they mean-- Michael's life force went back to haven so God could recreate Michael. Jesus' the man is dead forever body is gone forever.
5. Inerrancy of Scripture- JW Yes we believe that- what they mean----- because we fixed the bible.
