Pandas 99% of their diet is bamboo.
Koalas almost entirety rely on eucalyptus.
I have looked it up, if you want to believe that any animal that disembarked from the ark could walk, run, hop, swim vast distances sometimes spanning oceans fuelled by rat and seaweed then that's up to you my friend.
When you read the post above and say...where have I been condescending...I'll point to your post like this one above.

I don't believe in the concept of sin.

Perhaps, but the more I observe of humanity, the more convinced I am that there is something radically wrong with us.

There's an old quote attributed to G.K. Chesterton: The doctrine of human depravity is the one Christian dogma that is empirically verifiable.

And what about recognizing people make immoral choices?

Morality is subjective and evolving.

Doesn’t really answer my question, does it? Here is where you lose credibility. Most Atheists embrace absolutes and almost nothing is less subjective and evolving than morality. (Although it is oriented toward an individual). My favorite example of an objective moral code is a quarter pounder at McD’s. It is held to an objective tolerance, such as +/-.025.

Now you can have a different moral code regarding pre-cooked hamburg, either the nominal or tolerance but it remains an objective standard. Speed limits? Same thing. While I admit many people are amoral, that is, have undefined morals, it doesn’t change the inherent nature of morals. Oh, you value education and being in shape? What have you done in the last decade to advance these morals? Nothing. I call BS on what you claim your morals are.

The ultimate moral standard is life, itself. Again, objective and absolute; You are either dead or alive. Here is where the BS ‘subjective and evolving‘ claim is exposed for the fraud that it is. Such moral analysis I learned from an Atheist coworker, who embraced the philosophy of Ayn Rand, Objectivism. In an earlier post, you said you try to live a good, moral life.
  1. How can you do this if morality is subjective and evolving?
  2. Conversely, how can you fail to obtain this value?
  3. And if you don’t objectively know if you’ve obtained what you claim to value, what good are your morals and the whole purpose of your atheist life?
I take it that these questions burn in the minds of any thoughtful person?

Does anyone here want to talk about the possibility that God created the universe, but not for the benefit of mankind specifically?

Everyone here knows this is the case. God didn’t create the universe for us but for his glory.

I know your point was to establish deism but it goes against all available information.

That hypothesis would tie in with science.

No, theism ties into science. Did you read the threads on evidence to be seen? First, read my favorite Psalm, Psalm 19. Both, the Big Bang and the ‘spontaneous’ creation of life agree with the Creation event. Emerging science, is pointing again to God, such as Fine Tuning. I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again that I don’t have enough faith to be an Atheist.

Nobody is living the life that Jesus preached nobody.

That’s a bold claim after saying morality is subjective; here you are making an objective moral claim! sml

And by the way, doesn’t that answer my question; that you DO recognize people make immoral choices?! You’re just being shy about it. LOL

I'm not most atheists.... I'm asking you questions that you can't answer and you know it.
I've had no reply from any of you on the questions I've posed about an eternal life and what that entails.
You know that the Bible makes claims that are not scientific, you know that the claims are supernatural, you know that the Bible was written by anonymous authors, but you still persist with your dismissal of my skepticism.

What do you think that your eternal life will look like Wrangler?
Answer the question honestly... If you can.

Not just Wrangler actually.
All of you, explain in detail what you think that your eternal lives will entail.

Let's see if you can all agree on that!

I’ve already told you.

You already know, as we do, that we won’t.
You have told me nothing Mathias.
Explain in detail please what you think that your eternal life will look. Start at day one.

You've told me that I'll come face to face with Jesus, and your opinion on how that will go...
How will your eternity work out?
Try to go into detail if you can.

None of you have the slightest clue.
And if you say that you do, you are not only lying to me, you are lying to yourselves.

I have.

Explain in detail please what you think that your eternal life will look. Start at day one.

I’ve already done that.

You've told me that I'll come face to face with Jesus, and your opinion on how that will go...

I’ve told you much more than that.

How will your eternity work out?

Just as scripture says it will.

Try to go into detail if you can.

Will anyone going into detail cause you to give up your atheism?

I must have missed your post on what you expect your eternal life to look like. My bad. Can you refresh my memory please, starting with day one?

You may have forgotten it but you didn’t miss it. You commented on it.

For what purpose?
Show me in what post you gave a detailed account of what you are expecting from your eternal life.
Show me my reply.

You are clueless about what your eternal life might look like....

I've been banging on about this with absolutely no response from any of you.

Why can't you admit that you don't know what you are pinning your hopes on?
You have faith in what? What is it you have faith in?

I at least have an idea where I'll be after my death.

For what purpose? You’ve already made your decision. What does that leave? Derision.

If you continue to read the Bible, you’re going to read about it again.

It's not a difficult question.
Why can't anyone answer it?

Ask me what my eternity might look like and I can answer honestly... Death and no further thoughts. No further involvement, I'll live in the memories of my family for a short time but that will fade fairly quickly....

I have no idea what my great great grandfathers name was, I have no idea what he did for a living... He had a life on this planet and must have thought that it was important. I don't know anything about that. That will be me one day and that will be my kids one day. That will be everybody.
