Until, we have done the impossible as Jesus did... that is: overcome the world. [see John 16:33]Sinners all are we....
Your solution is what?
Stop profiting off of sin. Corporations are creating problems and selling solutions, which actually create more problems, which are then exploited in a new cycle.
As far as the issue of white privilege, I am not expecting to solve this problem. I am advocating reconition that the problem exists and resisting the tendency towards reinforcing it by ‘living on autopilot’; we can live our lives working towards equality even if it may never become a new social norm. Jesus bucked the system by loving others, regardless of class and gender, inspite of obvious peril - we can do the same.
There is another option. We can reinforce our own tribe at the expense of everyone else and double down on our expectations/demands for superior status. I believe this is the way of the world, not Christ.
The problem isn't white privilage. The problem is blacks crapping in their own bird nest. Blacks who make millions and yet dishonor the flag, country, and anthem. Blacks who will destroy the NFL by using it as their black podium.
Blacks are not looking for equality, they want only preferential treatement. Thus, there will never be equality. Look at the black lives matter crowd. They even attack the ACLU because the ACLU wants everyone to have free speech. Oh but the blacks want no part of that. They are the ones that have free speech, and no one else. And they attack the others to silence them. And just like they want only free speech for themselves and no others, they will do the same with any other rights you may think you can have.
And all the while they are moaning about white privilege. Whitey holden me down. Instead of using their own money to form a political group and protest legally and respectfully, they use the NFL's time and dishonor the flag. Why, it doesn't cost them anything, and they get a large audience, and get to spit on the flag they don't care for anyway.
Of course that must be the way of Christ...sure.

Bitter much?
Not half as bitter as blacks are.
I notice you had nothing else to say.

this is what happens imo when you try to discuss the morality of slave ownership with a plantation owner, essentially.No. I really don’t. You have made yourself clear. Black people seem to be your focus (many other people of color are involved in the protest) and they better be in their place or you will pitch a fit about how everyone is taking away your rights as a white person. It is as ridiculous as a rich person complaining about how much poor people cost them and Americans complaining about how imigrants are taking away everyones jobs, over lunch picked by imigrants in a hotel cleaned by them.
Chris Rock was right when he said, ‘no white person would trade places with me if they could and i am rich’

it is ridiculous imo to suggest that Kaepernick took any NFL "time." Time/attention was given to him, he didn't take anything but a knee.
when one person does it then it an issue between him and whoever considering he was on his way out with san fran 49er's. it was obvious he had an attitude problem in the first place. they tried him on another team, SOP when a player has got issues.
but the whole NFL? different story there bub, there thumbing their noses at those who watch the game that just might agree with the politician's opinion expressed, and they are above reproach in their own opinion of themselves. so if you don't want politics in your football boycott football. one can find something else to do watch whatever.
Indeed.
Plantation owners and dictators are always taking care of ingrates
NFL is a business of which the players are contracted to act and behave a certain way or they wouldn't be fined when they do things even in their private lives that are breach of contract, it is unethical to breach a contract you've agreed to when you have means to meet it, and again it all a lie, these players have been playing since high school and have been doing that same thing before every game, there's is no delusions here of what is expected.
and the pubic has a expectation of the NFL, and its not political discussions.
there's a time and place for everything under the sun, and jerking fans around when the subject is supposed to be football isn't making friends and influencing people. they the players have ample means to share their views in appropriate places. So you just dislike protests....i see
