I did read a news story recently about a megachurch pastor who swindled an elderly lady with dementia out of $340,000. I'm not sure if that relates to Contracts for Jesus the way you meant it.

Ask Christians in other countries whose churches have been destroyed. I don't know about the money but I guess they would either try to repair the church depending on the damage or rebuild one with the hope that it won't get destroyed or that they won't be killed before it's built.
