No - I am parroting what Christ's Church has taught for 2000 years on the subject.

The plain fact is that at NO time has the Church EVER taught the man-made invention of OSAS.
This perversion didn't come about until the Protestant Revolt in the 16th century.

It would be one in the eye for The Enemy of souls though, wouldn't it? :)

Taken,

Jesus emphasized the importance of maintaining faith by giving an illustration
in which he likened himself to a vine and his followers to branches on that vine.

Some of them would at one time demonstrate faith in him by their fruits, or actions,
yet would later fail to do so and be “thrown out like a [fruitless] branch,” losing their salvation.

The apostle Paul used a similar illustration,
saying that Christians who do not maintain their faith “will be lopped off.

Sooooo, how am I a "hypocrite"?
Can you at least explain that one - or do you even know what "hypocrite" means?

I'm shaking my head about your behaviour.

In Galatians 5, Paul lists a variety of sins:
"sexual immorality,
impurity and debauchery;
idolatry and witchcraft;
hatred, discord, jealousy,
fits of rage, selfish ambition,
dissensions, factions and envy;
drunkenness, orgies, and the like" (v. 19-21).

Some of these are behavioral, some are attitudinal, but all of them are self-centered and stem from the sinful heart.

Does "Fits of Rage and Selfish Ambition" ring a bell for you, BOL?

Thank you for that verbose non-answer.

Now - try answering the question:
Where does God say that you can NEVER lose your salvation??

Best to get a Toddler Bible, since you can not comprehend Losing Salvation is possible when one never receives Salvation.

Where did you rebut all of these verses "in detail"??

Also - I am a Catholic Christian. To say Catholic OR Christian is an oxymoron.
Catholics were the very first Christians - 15 centuries before you Protestants called yourselves "Christian".

So for how many centuries have the Catholics been ignoring God, and electing a man and calling him their earthly father...

When the Lord already established and elected Abraham to be the earthly father?

God Bless,

BreadOfLife: I may have taken liberties with the use of "in detail" as had 'some detail.' much more than yours. I can do those 6-8 verses in FULL detail if you want.

There's one of the verse that really do not need any detail. The one you said a blind man can understand it. I might just reproduce what I said on it here. They you decide who is blind.

(Mat 5:13) “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. (ESV)

This verse is about being an effective believer or disciple that serves Jesus and does God’s will. It is a warning to true believers not to be complacent or lazy in being an effective witness for God to others. We as true believers are to be firm in our beliefs and reveal the truth of the gospel and Jesus Christ in public. To nourish, or season (as in salt) the earth (world) with God’s spiritually (correct gospel) that lasts or preserves a human soul to salvation. This has NOTHING to do with the loss of salvation.

Who's blind?

Thanks for answering my last question.

You answer clearly says you are a religious 'Christian.' one who does not believe that you are truly saved without the assurance from men, and their tradition and teachings. Incidentally, I'm not a Protestant or any other recognized official religious label. I am a true believer of the way and I don't need labels. I need my Savior.

Bless you,

APAK

2Ti 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

the problem with christianity, it has become a place of works, not a faith. Who believes God, how can one not believe, have faith, and still call themselves a christian.

Really??
What
day was that, exactly?

Really??
Show me some historical proof of these "remnants".

Funny how Protestants always claim there was a "faithful remnant" - yet they can never prove it.
well, the roman catholic church did their best to kill them all off

As usual, what are you talking about?
You post one nonsensical comment after another without explaining yourself because you can't defend them.

There's a word for that - it's called "cowardice" . . .
That's insulting, not at all Christian
What renegade priest taught you it was okay to talk to people that way?

Boy - talk about denial.
Read carefully:

Matt. 5:13

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for ANYTHING except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

If you are saved and guaranteed eternity in Heaven - HOW can you be considered "no longer good for anything"??
This verse is absolutely about losing one's salvation. Remember - Rev. 21:27 tells us that NOTHING impure or imperfect can enter Heaven.
