You are too concentrated on the carnal.
Set that aside.
Sure the wife CAN be helpful to her husband, they each decide in harmony who does what in their marriage.
However a wife can prepare a good healthy full of vitamins and minerals out of locally grown food.....prepare them to delicious perfection...
But bummer if every food she has prepared is food her husband hates!
If my spouse prepared me fresh goat, fresh peas, turnips....while healthy....eweee...I hate all of those foods.
And YOU are concentrated on the silly.

When a husband and wife lovingly help each other - this glorifies God.
Maybe you should read Eph. 5:22-33 . . .

By the way - goat is a fine meal . . .

Incorrect Taken.
After we become saved, and others know this, everything we do glorifies God.
Colossians 3:17
1 Corinthians 10:31

Do you?

It's a learned concept. Do you thank God for your food, thank God for having completed cleaning the toilet and shower and sink? Do you understand the intent? Such as being in a rush to get your groceries in your car because it is raining, but instead stand in the rain and help an elderly person get their groceries in their car and them safely in their car....and when they say thank you...say something to the effect the Lord lead you there for them...

But on the other hand shooting a neighbors pesky dog who is on your property killing your chickens.....may certainly happen...and that would be glorifiying to God?

It's about learning precepts, or how to be prepared, and know...so that what you do do, is glorifying to God.

It's not a instant thing. It's a taught and learned behavior, is the point.

Getting way off topic.
Of course husband and wife lovingly helping one another glorifies God.

Does that always occur? No.
Can it be improved? Yes.
How? Learning, practice, patience, and focus on the big picture instead of all the little things.

Point was getting into Precepts of God...
The WHAT those are and the HOW TO'S.

By the way - goat is a fine meal . . .

Didn't say it wasn't. Just not to my liking was what I said.

Why would your wife make you food you hate???

Why would my spouse prepare a nutritious meal for me.....gee IDK...

Does she not love you?

Cause IF my spouse loved me...I would be only eating the foods I love ... right?

Using general examples, is getting off topic.

Exactly.
WHO said that it was built with human hands?

No one.

You said:
"People have been predicting the demise of "the Church" for 2,000 years.
"IT" has survived greater hurdles than this".

What is "THE CHURCH" in your quote?

Since 2,000 years is WHEN the "Catholic" Church declares it was started....I presumed you were speaking of the Catholic Church.

But you can clarify, what is "THE CHURCH" you were speaking of?

This is absolutely untrue.

The idea that we cannot fall from grace and walk away from God is anti-Scriptural

I didn't say a man can not fall from grace or walk away.

I said effectively a man BORN AGAIN Man is forever Born Again, and is Kept forever IN Christ, BY the Power of Christ.

NO ONE can undo that.

No, it was never our responsibility to die for the sins of the world It is finished God bles
You are ARE saying that you were never accountable for your actions.
Scripture DISAGREES with you (Matt. 7:1-2, Matt. 25:31-46, Luke 11:4, Rom. 2:6, Rev. 20:12) - and on and on . . .

Sooooo, YOU are saying that a born again person can fall from God's grace and walk away from Him - and STILL be saved??
That's NOT what the Bible teaches . . .

Romans 11:22
“See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you REMAIN in his kindness; otherwise you to will be cut off.”
Paul is warning the faithful to REMAIN in God’s favor or they will lose their salvation. How can they lose what they never had?

Hebrews 10:26-27
“If we sin deliberately AFTER receiving KNOWLEDGE of the truth, there no longer remains sacrifice for sins but a fearful prospect of judgment and a flaming fire that is going to consume the adversaries.”
This is a clear warning that falling away from God will result in the loss of our salvation. The Greek word for “knowledge” used here is NOT the usual word (oida). This is talking about a full, experiential knowledge (epignosei). This verse is about CHRISTIANS who had an EPIGNOSIS of Christ and who can fall back into darkness and LOSE their salvation by their own doing.

2 Peter 2:20-22
For if they, having escaped the defilements of the world through the KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, again become entangled and overcome by them, their last condition is worse than their first.
For it would have been better for them not to have KNOWN the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment handed down to them.

Here, Peter illustrates that those who had a full, experiential knowledge (epignosei) of Christ – CHRISTIANS – who can fall back into darkness and LOSE their salvation by their own doing.

Matt. 5:13
You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
This one is self-explanatory - even to a blind, deaf and dumb person . . .

1 Cor. 9:27
"I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified."
Paul is saying that he wrestles with his own fleshly desires so that he might not fall back into sin.

2 Peter 3:17
Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.
Peter is warning the faithful not to fall back into sin and lawlessness.

1 John 2:24
See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. IF it does, you also will REMAIN in the Son and in the Father.
This is an admonition to try to remain faithful.

Rev. 3:5
He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
God cannot "blot out" a name that was never there in the first place. He is talking about CHRISTIANS who are already saved and how they can LOSE their salvation.

Rev. 22:19
And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
How can God "take away" somebody’s share of heaven if they never had it to begin with? This is about CHRISTIANS who may or may NOT make it into Heaven.

Then why bring it up?
What is "THE CHURCH" in your quote?
Since 2,000 years is WHEN the "Catholic" Church declares it was started....I presumed you were speaking of the Catholic Church.
But you can clarify, what is "THE CHURCH" you were speaking of?
The ONLY Church established by Jesus and His Apostles: The Catholic Church.

In post #2468, YOU said:
"Work in cooking your husband a NICE MEAL, is acceptable to God, and to your husband...
But it does not Glorify God.
Only certain works Glorify God."

This is an erroneous statement.
Didn't say it wasn't. Just not to my liking was what I said.
I was just teaisng.
Actually, I only like it prepared one or two ways.

The ONLY Church established by Jesus and His Apostles: The Catholic Church.
Isnt at all and teh evidence is stacked against you. You have absolutely no proof, its all hearsay, innuendo and lies. Not to be expected from one who knows not the truth,

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

You are ARE saying that you were never accountable for your actions.

No, that's not what I'm saying. That's what the devil is saying to you. Do you see now how he mixed truth with lies? The devil hates the cross and what was accomplished there, so he condemns believers. God bless.

Jhn 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

No. Jesus established and is building His Church in the hearts of men, built on the Rock foundation Of Christ who is the Lord Jesus.

The Established Roman Catholic Church rejected teaching Jesus is the Christ for nearly 300 years.
