Hi,

My "name" is Jane. I'm a lady who loves Jesus Christ with all my heart, mind, and soul. He is my Savior and King. I'm also a complete nerd and dork. One of my dorky hobbies is visiting other churches / religious places and talking to people their to get to better know them. I find that this journey has greatly increased my love/understanding of other folks, and my own understand of different beliefs (including my own).

Traditionally I've been about to make it to ~8 churches other than my own a year, but lately.... life has gotten crowded and I'm not able to physically visit nearly as often as I would like. Hence, my turning to online communities to talk to other people about faith there-- to love and to share with each other. Is this such a place which is interested in sharing and loving different people/beliefs?

Admittedly, I'm a little trepidatious asking this. I have.... had some bad experiences on other sites which have left me with scars. I don't want to go somewhere that I and others are not welcomed.

Thank you. I've wandered around some, and my initial assessment agrees that this does look like a good group of people. I'm just scared, having had so many bad experiences on other forums (I am not a Creedal Christian, and have met some majorly nasty treatment for that label alone).

Two of you have misstated what she said. She may well be a creedal PERSON in some ways. But, what she said is that she is not a "Creedal Christian", a person who bases her Christianity upon the words written by men in certain Religious Creeds they wrote and published as a structured statement of their Christian-related beliefs.

You are most certainly welcome! That's actually the atmosphere many of us are trying to create here, only it is not always easy sometimes. There are always those that have to be opposed on various grounds, even at a good website, so you have to go into it with the expectation that things will never be perfect. And there are always those Satan will use to sow division. It just comes with the territory of online Christian forums, so you have to go in with your armor on. But this is indeed a very good website, in my opinion the best. Hope you enjoy it here.
