I don't feel alive anymore i know i am and can see it but don't feel it.
My prayer of salvation was, "God, I don't even know if You are real; but I am going to start reading Your word and doing what it says: and I know that if You are real, You will reveal Yourself to me."

Why not pray something like that?

Now I know that You have to be talking to the real and living God for Him to answer you.

So maybe something like,

"Jesus, I don't know if You're God; but if You are I want to ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. In Your name. Amen."

Now maybe try just praying that out loud right where you are; and see if it makes you feel any different. It may not. But for some it makes a difference in their emotional situation. For others, it doesn't change how they feel at all; but it changes their lives and that is the most important thing.

@justbyfaith What does this mean.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4

It simply means that I believe that the Jesus that you have been told about by the Jehovah's Witnesses is not the Jesus who lived and walked the earth 2,000 years ago. The Watchtower has lied about who He is, so the perception of JW's about who He is is different than who He really is.

So in order to get a hold of Him, it might be necessary to suspend your ideas of who He might be concerning what you have been taught; and in praying to Him consider the possibility that He is the God of the Christians rather than the Jesus of the Watchtower and that He is the God who made you.

i see myself like other jws see themselves as Christians yes i know that might be hard to believe but it's true

I'm sorry but there are differences that set us apart. Jesus was fully human and fully God and the Holy Spirit is a part of the Trinity, not just some "active force". Those are some major, major areas that cannot be compromised.

Hello my friend.

By your post it doesn't seem as if you have read all of Michaels many threads ...about six I believe.
He is only 17 and I don't believe he has been indoctrinated into anything.
He is just finding his way. And asking questions..
Just go a wee bit easy on him...he needs positive much more than negative right now.
You post has fallen into the trap that he has already experienced from Christian on other places.

I don't believe he is at all ready for all that. That is just what he expected to hear.

Just saying. :)

I understand, we can be positive and truthful at the same time. I can come off as blunt, I am aware, lol. I care for his soul and I am glad he is seeking and I know there are many here that can help him on this journey. I was replying to his comment and simply showing the differences and why the JW would not fit within Christianity.

what's the point of even having christian faith and being part of a congregation if all the other congregations are going to judge you and force their ways down your throat i am a jw and on christian forums i was constantly being told i was a wrong and i should "read the bible" and i say "okay i will read my bible" there response. "no no no your bible is corrupt okay read a "real" Bible" . i think that's what wrong with Christendom to many ways of thinking maybe those Catholics are right that the Protestant reformation should never have had happen. any way just saying that it is hard to believe if you're saved when some bully punches your throat and tells you are wrong.
Yep, and even when you are a believing Christian you still are not at the level of these other Christians. Who keep doubting everything you say in faith, it's like faith wars.

another point when you give birth to child you create that child while intercourse.

The Creator was not created though. What did you think of that link/scripture? That Jesus Christ did not come by intercourse proves 100% divinity while maintaining 100% human also.

I just think it is super important to know that Jesus is God. It is a hard concept to understand, but He is not created. He is the creator and is therefore God as it says in John.

Christ was Conceived by the Holy Spirit, and Mary was a virgin, so this was not done by some intercourse
