Many find fault with those who claim Christendom is biblical Israel. Saying God did not replace Israel with the Church. This is true but it shows a misunderstanding of Israel's true identity.

“Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet [Christ]. You must obey him in everything.. Every person who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed from the people [Israel].’” Ac 3:22–23

The church did not replace Israel. The Church is Israel. God removed the unbelievers from Israel and grafted believing gentiles into their place. Romans 11:17.

And, for the sake of the fathers, God reattaches the broken off but only through faith in Christ. For this Paul uses himself as an example, Romans 11:1–5. And as we preach the gospel to all nations until the end of the world Matthew 28:20 in this way, all Israel, believing Jew and gentile, will be saved Romans 11:26.

I think it's good to distinguish between the Jew, the Gentile and the church of God (1 Corinthians 10.32).
“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:27–29)

I've been grafted into the vine. The Vinyard belongs to the master. Now to keep the little foxes from stealing the grapes.

...in Christ. But outside of Christ there are other groups of people.

Negative proof demands are not allowed in law, formal debate and logic.

You have to provide proof you are right.
“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” (Galatians 3:16)

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:28–29)

“When Israel was a child, then I loved him, And called my son out of Egypt.” (Hosea 11:1)

“And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.” (Matthew 2:15)

Also notice the Congregation of the Lord (same definition of church) is the church in the wilderness journey from Egypt.

“This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:” (Acts 7:38)

So the church was always here. Just that God removed unbelievers under the New Covenant.

6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

You are referring to the Church. But the body of Christ is Church and Israel.

Different covenant relationships.

The Church is the bride of Christ but Israel is the wife of God, the First Person of the Trinity.

The New Covenant Church was a carryover from the Old Covenant Church. Only God removed the unbelievers. This version of the Church was all Jewish up until God grafted believing gentiles into the place of the broken off unbelievers.

Yes according to Scripture, we are grafted into the root, the Root support's us, we do not support the Root!
True. But there is more to it than most Christians understand or believe.

We need to understand Romans 9-11 properly (as one unit), and in light of ALL SCRIPTURE. I am simply summing up those chapters here.

1. Paul expressed God's heart desire that all Israel would be saved.
2. However, only a small segment of Israel was saved during the ministry of Christ and the apostles.
3. The Church (redeemed Jews and Gentiles) was formed after the Holy Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost.
4. The first Church was a totally Jewish Church and thousands of Jews were saved on Pentecost, and shortly thereafter. This Church of believing Jews is called "the good olive tree".
5. Soon after, Gentiles were added to Church (beginning with the household of Cornelius). They are called branches from "the wild olive tree".
6. Later there were more believing Gentiles than Jews in all the NT churches, and because of this some Gentiles began to believe that God was through with the Jews. Therefore they needed to be warned not to be high minded, since they were grafted into the good olive tree of believing Israel, not the other way around.
7. God has a finite number of Gentiles who must be added to the Church, and that has not happened as yet. We are still in the Church Age or the Gospel Age.
8. However, Paul tells us that blindness in part has happened to Israel until "the fulness (complement) of the Gentiles be come in". After that "All Israel shall be saved".
9. Then Paul points us to the prophecies regarding the second coming of Christ, His coming to Sion (Zion = Jerusalem), and the redemption and restoration of *Jacob* (all Jews within the 12 tribes of Israel).
10. Paul then connects this to the Abrahamic Covenant, and the promises made to the *fathers* (the patriarchs) -- Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

All of this mean that Replacement Theology (or very inventive *Removal Theology* ) is TOTAL NONSENSE and indeed heretical. It denies the faithfulness of God, and God's eternal plans and purposes for redeemed and restored Israel on earth, AFTER the second coming of Christ.

Yet again using 218 year old translation.

38 He was in the assembly in the wilderness, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors; and he received living words to pass on to us.

Assembly, not church.
