PS: You quote from Ephesians 6 in your header; I understand you wouldn't do it but a lot of Christians do get tattoos with quotes from Ephesians 6.

PS: It used to be also that for women at least in North America, tattoos were somewhat of a taboo. But it certainly isn't the case now.

I like Ryan Ashley's black and gray body suit. It is soft and feminine without demonic symbolisms (that I could see.)

I just watched her cover photo shoot. She's got some that are pretty dark on her leg that I don't like
There are several videos about her on Youtube; the emphasis on each seems to be slightly different. One of them is about her team of 4 artists, including herself. It used to be that tattoo artists were nearly all men; Ryan Ashley's team is all female; kind of goes to show both how much demand there is for ink services and also the confidence with which women in North America can have it done. I guess the point that can be made also is that - while I doubt whether Ryan A is a Christian - it has become a very viable witness opportunity for so many people, as regards faith based designs.
I don't have any tattoos personally, and would never get one; not even one that is faith-based; but I also don't condemn those who do.

Some ppl are open to the idea of faith based ink for their witness potential; others are not. Those with witness friendly faith based ink have seemed to be strongly motivated; there does need to be the strong motivation there first; it's not for everyone.
Amen; personally I believe that the law is important so I do my best to even obey the laws in the OT.
I'm not surprised; the image of carers and nurses has kind of changed from the prim image of years ago. In some ways this is a pity but it's not remotely unusual now for carers and nurses to be confidently tattooed.
Are you thinking of Leviticus 19? I guess my question would be, in the same passage it seems to say about not trimming one's beard; do preachers shave? or maybe there is a different emphasis there. I guess I would make a difference between Old Testament Jews in the land under the law and New Testament Christians under grace for whom the Gospel rather than the law is the rule of their life, and who seek effective witness opportunities.
PS: Are they any parlors near you and do you know of any Christians who use them?
There are some parlors near me and I do know a lady at my church who is a believer who got a tattoo recently. I have no idea which parlor she went to though; because there are many in my town.

Tattoos used to have a male, tough guy image, but this has changed immensely; it still does with some wearers but not remotely with all. (Although it could also be said that since 59%-70% or more of parlor clients in North America are female, according to statistics, women are evidently 'tougher' than men when it comes to being needled with ink...)
