Jack Van Impe and Hal Lindsey=World's Best Bible Prophecy Teachers!!

In Luke 21, Jesus gave His disciples a quick list of the signs they should look for as indications His return is near.

Jesus said, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven." (Luke 21:10-11 NASB)

We find many of the signs Jesus mentioned throughout history. But recent developments make them more immediate than ever. That's because there are three key differences between now and centuries past.

The first and most important is "Israel." Second Coming prophecies throughout the Old and New Testaments require the existence of a reborn and legally recognized nation of Israel. The presence of the State of Israel and its control over the city of Jerusalem give meaning and urgency to all the prophecies concerning the Lord's return.

The second factor that increases the sense of urgency is "Convergence." The list of signs Jesus gave, and scores of others, are now happening all at once. We're no longer seeing a random sign here or there. We are seeing a rapid confluence of all the signs.

The third thing that makes our time different is "Degree." Just as Jesus warned, the intensity and frequency of the signs have either grown dramatically or appear on the verge of unprecedented acceleration.

These prophecies of Jesus are and how rapidly they are now being fulfilled.

Believers will be encouraged by the realization that the Rapture of the Church, our "blessed hope," could happen at any moment. But if discussions like this frighten you, or cause you unease, then that means you are not confident in your relationship with God.

We see how accurate the Bible's prophecies are. And if the Bible can be so spot-on about developments and events -- even weapons of war -- that could not possibly have been conceived of thousands of years ago, then the Bible can be trusted with everything else it says.

And the Bible tells us that we don't have to be afraid when we see how rapidly this Age of Grace is coming to an end. In fact, it shows us explicitly how we can escape the horrible events that will soon burst upon this old world.

Nothing you can do on your own, nothing you can pay or promise, can gain you entrance into heaven when you die. But don't be discouraged, that's the good news. Jesus Christ has already done it for you! He bought you a ticket to heaven by taking upon Himself the guilt for all of your sins and dying in your place to pay the penalty you owed.

To redeem that ticket, all we must do is accept the free gift of pardon for our sins that Jesus purchased for us with His death on the cross.

And it is so simple to do. Just believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God. Admit to Him that you are a sinner and can never qualify for heaven on your own. Humbly ask Him to forgive you for that sin and cover you with His own righteousness. Then accept that pardon and believe that God will do everything He has promised.

If you do that sincerely, then you don't have to be afraid as you see the prophecies of the Bible spring to life all around you. No matter if you die or if you are snatched away from this earth when Jesus returns to "rapture" us away to heaven, you will be ready to go.

For now you are a child of the Living God and part of his forever-family. When He comes or when you die, you'll just be going home!

The 'Blessed Hope' for all Christians is Jesus and the Promise of Eternal Life. John 3:16, Titus 1:2, +

Nowhere in the Bible does God promise to take the Christian Church to heaven.
If Hal Lindsey was a true promoter of the Word, he would tell us to stand firm in our faith, through all that must happen before Jesus Returns.

Hal is especially good. When his latest prophesy fails, he just cranks out another one for the upcoming year. The suckers will keep buying his books.
seems like i even recall him coming clean several years ago, like ten years ago or so? Something about he wanted to be considered an entertainer or something? can't find it now though, hmm

i teethed on Hal Lindsey books myself, guess we had every one of them at at least one point
buyers deserve sellers imo, so i don't fault him any though

Good grief, the man has written 68 books (maybe more that I don't know about) that end-times fanatics have snatched up, as though he really knew anything. He may have written more, but at 88, I suppose since the world never ended, he might have slowed down some.

I didn't see the others, but the prophets themselves are now proving to be untrustworthy.

Jack at 88 years old
and has not accepted a salary from the ministry for many years and says he will not retire as long as he can go on. Jack is
still giving the gospel to BILLIONS each week =he has seen millions saved over the last 70 years of preaching. How sad and pathetic to see
"christians" attacking Real Christians How
satan
must laugh!

This is incorrect and has already been addressed in depth. The eternal home of the Church is the New Jerusalem, which is presently in Heaven, and will remain a heavenly body. "Our citizenship is in Heaven" so you are continuing to deny Bible truth.

Impe is a multimillionair who lives in luxury. He's not sacrificing for Christ, even if we pretend he's serving Christ with his lies (that Antichrist so-called Jews are God's chosen people).

Your claim that he doesn't take a salary is either a lie or irrelevant. I bet if I look up his ministry's IRS filing, it'll show he takes a salary. What do you want to bet. Even if Impe doesn't officially take a salary, that's a gimmick, and he still receives plenty of income as a result of his so-called ministry.

The New Jerusalem comes down to us, Revelation 21:1-7
Our citizenship record is kept in heaven, but nowhere is it said that we will ever go there. Jesus said it was impossible;

John 3:13 No one goes to heaven, except the One who came from heaven.
John 17:15 ...I pray Father, you keep them from the evil one....
John 7:34...where I go you cannot come....
John 8:21-23....I am not of this world, you cannot go where I go....
Revelation 5:10....the saints will reign on earth....
ALL Words of Jesus that totally, utterly and completely refute the false and totally un biblical rapture theory.

John 14:1-3 is not talking about a rapture removal to heaven. Jesus says: I will come back.... from heaven to earth and then: we will always be with Him.
Realize this, you raptureists, a removal to heaven was never part of God's plan for ancient Israel and it isn't His plan now.
Do you say the Lord's prayer? ......Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven......Who is tasked to carry out His will on earth? Us Christians, that's who and hoping to be removed when things get tough is nothing short of escapism and cowardice.
