My son and daughter-in-law who are not Christians have small tattoos on arms and legs.
A lot of Christians do it these days as well.

Often it's the daughter or wife that is motivated to have it done first. (Do you happen to remember whether it was your son or his wife that saw the need to get limbs inked?)

Not yet ...
Depending on where you live, we are probably in the wrong season of the year now to see so many, typically: up here, it seems that around May time the short sleeves appear and so do the tattoos, and then around September/October the tattoos hibernate under the long sleeves again...

(BTW, I read that a Hollywood director tried to film a beach scene from the 1950s,but couldn't find enough young women without tattoos as props for the scene...)

Because it depicts a Psalm, I in the first instance put this in the Psalms section, but it also belongs in this thread, certainly.

It's rather effective, isn't it?

One can easily see how good, faith based tattoos can become effective witness tools and talking points.

@Dave L @Butterfly FYI, having a Scripture verse done can be so effective that it seems that - for example - a tattoo voucher would make an ideal Christmas gift for a Christian of either gender:

@VictoryinJesus FYI, do you think these Scripture tattoos, above, are effective? I guess it's getting towards Christmas shopping time and certainly it would seem that for Christians of either gender a tattoo voucher would seem a suitable gift for someone.

My tattoo was very small and wasn't that sore-
I guess it shows that the pain aspect ought not to be prohibitive for those who really want to make a faith statement and use a tattoo as a witness tool, right?

(Seeing as you manifested coped with your tattoo pain.)

@Dave L

The Psalm 23 tattoo discussed looks really effective, doesn't it? :)

(...if also sore, but the pain ought not to be a deterrent if the believer is really motivated about it.)

No I did not. I do not have any tatoos lol.
I guess a lot of ppl would consider the artwork - as in #354, above - effective in witness, anyway.

(Did you vote in the poll? there is a 'no' option also...)

Thanks for your brief comment, anyway. :)
