Get Rapture Ready or will you be be left Behind? Time is short!!
Paul Begley

While I agree it is important to be ready to go, I feel it is just as important to be ready to stay. Regardless of one's end times beliefs until they're history, they are all only possibilities, speculations and assumptions about our understanding of prophecy. Nothing is guaranteed accept the fact of His return.

Concerning the Rapture, I am pre-Trib but not pre-trouble. And the sounds of the distant rumbling of trouble appear to get closer everyday for Christians. I am convinced that Christians will not go through the Tribulation period. But that period doesn't just happen. There must precede it a mindset that is overall against God and Christ and the Bible. A mindset that is willing to see Christians as evil and to have them killed.

And how would one prepare for the Rapture? Being a Christian includes people into the Rapture, whether they hold to it or not. I suppose to be taken at a time when my walk with the Lord is good and I am in fellowship with Christ would be ideal. And that is encouragement to maintain my walk. (1 John 3:3)

In the same way, that there was a passover, in the times of old, because of the Blood of lamb on the doorpost, so will it be for all that are truly His. For they will all be covered by The Blood of The Lamb and sealed by The Holy Spirit until they(His special possession) are called home. In the meantime we are to watch and be ready. And for the faithful, He will give you strength to endure, and power to stand.

Jesus is speaking of the end of the world when the universe explodes in fervent heat. If you don't think Jesus is worth the tribulations and trials Christians have endured since the first century, what good is your faith?

What a perverted accusation.

Go back and read in context and see what Jesus is talking about.

Yes, the resurrection of the Just, followed by the rapture happens on the last day. All remaining are consumed in the conflagration of the universe.

I believe the world could end today. Nothing remains yet to be fulfilled.

The world will never end!! Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them; and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and be their God.

Amen. The KJV reads "that ye be accounted worthy". We must yield to the Holy Spirit to get the wrinkles, spots and blemishes out of our garments. Jesus is coming for a glorious Bride adorned in white, washed in the blood of the Lamb.

Luke 21
[34] And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.[35] For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.[36] Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Interesting...you have probably mention it before, but I didn't know that you were PRE !! I had at least pegged you as POST ...
You are one of them fightin' men.. :) So I thought that you would be heading up to opposition and have your armour on Eph 6.

As you know, I can't see it myself. I cannot se the patterns in scripture. Aaron did not fly from the door of the Tabernacle into the Holy of Holies , he walked carrying the blood.. We walk, baring the Blood of the Lamb.

Daniel was not zapped out of trouble , God kept him IN and Through trouble...same with Joseph too, same with the three in the fiery furnace.
I believe the word for the Overcomers ( found in Rev 3 ) is :-
Isa 43:2
2 "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. "

I believe that the last standing saints of the Most High will be ready..if it is in our time...(which kinda looks like it right now)...
I believe it is a time for standing up and being counted, not zapped out.

I see the great army...Jesus the Head with His Body. = The two Olive Trees ..

Rev 11
3 " And I will give power unto my two witnesses, ( Jesus Head, .. and His Body on earth ) and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them
."

That is 'the rapture' that I see n scripture in this last Day...however long it may be. Could be us..but will be reasonably soon.

I still believe that these kind of threads are all about us, and self preservation... the emphasis is on us, not on God. I can only guess at how many this guy has put up now!!

I 100% agree with -

There will be a lot of very shocked and trembling Christians IF just maybe, what God is saying in those VERY over used and favourite rapture scriptures ...is not what God was actually saying!!

Having being reassure that they will get out of jail free, they will be too unprepared to stand and go through it.

With our armour Eph 6 we are told- " Having done all, stand.."

Just my two cents...( and I am one who hates long posts... :D )

The New Heavens and earth will never end.

“Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: And the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:” (Psalm 102:25–26) (KJV 1900)

But scripture nowhere mentions a pre-trib rapture or 7 year tribulation.

Christ flew to heaven to offer his body and blood sacrifice.

Unlike the trib, God did not put them in the furnace.

Isa 43:2

That is not about the trib.

I believe it is a time for standing up and being counted, not zapped out.

In the trib, it isn't stand up and be counted. It is be arrested and die.

You cannot compare the trib to now. As the Bible says it is a time like never seen before. You're treating it like it is today.

I see the great army...Jesus the Head with His Body. = The two Olive Trees ..

Jesus with his army comes at the second coming and they are angels, not the body of Christ.

Rev 11
3 " And I will give power unto my two witnesses, ( Jesus Head, .. and His Body on earth ) and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them
."

The two olive trees are Enoch and Elijah only. They will go to the temple in Jerusalem and stay there until they die three and half years later. They are there for the Jews, not the Gentiles. The church is gone.
