To op, I think nonchristians disagree too over a lot. It is man's condition, but reading the Word of God changes a person. Only God is all knowing. Humans aren't, so we disagree. Christians are just human. But not all Christians who say or think they are Christian really are. If you ask God to help you discern Truth in God's Word, He will. But not everyone will agree with you. Because no one is right on every theological area.

I'm not SDA and I do not deride you :) It's my belief that "works" are simply evidence of His saving grace and, these works will come naturally and cheerfully if they are pure.
"You will know them by their fruits..."
Thankyou. SDAs though go a step further in believing obedience is an essential part of those 'works'...all the while fully recognising even obedience as being a fruit of the indwelling Spirit. Try explaining that to someone though who is adamantly against having God's commandments being an arbiter of righteousness, and people revert to their default settings of "we are not under the law"...."the law was nailed to the cross"..."Christians are under grace"..."Christ fulfilled the law" (as if the word fulfill ever meant cancel).

What has a book some monkeys cooked up got to do with the truth of the existence of this whole universe.

Personally I know of no book that monkeys wrote least of all about cooking.

God makes this whole universe for just one race of people, for just one planet.

Eh..pretty confident dry land called earth was created by God for the habitat of a kind of thing called man, but we could go outside of the terms in Scripture and say the "human race".

In the end he will destroy it all just to save you and your other lousy mates.

In the end He will make the earth anew.
And the consequence of being an inhabitant of the earth made anew is the Lord God WILL BE "King" of those inhabitants.

You aren't complaining that that will not be YOUR consequence, are you?

Yes, I too see obedience as a natural result of the indwelling Spirit...and since we can do nothing without Him :) But, the way I see it is once one is saved and continues to grow in faith that that is what produces good works/fruit/obedience...hence, the law is kept not keeping the law to BECOME saved. :)

You kind of prove my point. There are Christians out there that would disagree with your interpretation. I guess I just need to wait until you Christians figure this out. Let me know.

That is like saying I'll wait till politians agree before voting.

I am new here. Hope to stay a while.

My question to Christians is why do Christians disagree on so much? I hear Christians say all the time that god speaks to them. If this is true, why would he not say the same thing to each person and clear up the differences in biblical interpretation? It even goes to the core of the gospel, how people are saved.

so you are ok with the means of salvation to not be clear to Christians and non Christians? If you choose one of many different ways you could end up suffering at the hands of god forever.
Christians and non-Christians may be lost in this world of confusion. Yet God has marked the trail with clues, and those who seek Him find Him. But if you reject the clues as crumbs of insignificance, you are left with only confusion.

As for the others leaving clues also, yes, they too are there. Best to learn the difference.

But make no mistake, it's not a game with God, it's your life and your future. It is only a game with those who do not take it seriously. For instance, if you made a mistake that got you thrown in prison, would you 1) challenge your jailer, 2) be content with life on the inside and make it your only desire, 3) argue with the short timers and tell them there is no way they are going to be released, or 4) look for ways to be set free, even if it means begging for mercy?

The simple truth is most who call themselves Christians are not.

Salvation is simple. Recognize Christ as the second person of the Trinity who took on flesh but did not become flesh, who shared his gospel, died on the cross to pay for sins and ask no more than to recognize the simple truths and come to
Him in repentance through faith in his grace.

No works are required, no perfection, just trust and faith.

When saved it is eternal. You become a new person in your heart, mind and spirit.

Your spirit is totally clean but your flesh is still sinful, so we struggled to grow in Christ. At that is called sanctification not salvation.

God condemns division, which to denominationalism is.

There is no god appointed physical church on the earth. Catholicism is a cult that glorifies humans.

The reason is because not all who profess to be Christians are Christians. A Christian is a disciple of Christ one who follows in the Masters footsteps. The first and foremost part of this discipleship is the full surrender and or consecration of oneself to the Father. Such and such alone if their consecration be accepted, “For no man takes this honor unto himself save he who is (first) called by God” are the only true Christians.

God is not calling everyone at this time; he is only seeking the select few who will be made copies of his dear son, these if proven faithful unto death will constitute the body of Christ, the true Church and will be used in the blessing of all the rest of mankind in due time.

The great majority of professed believers are “tares” imitation wheat, although they don’t fully realize it. Not all of them are bad people per say, many appear to be upstanding individuals, but alas many are hypocrites possessing a form of godliness but lacking the power thereof, that is they put on the airs of being a Christian, but their hearts (their words and actions) tell a different story.

The problem is that the standard for be a true disciple, a Christian has been lowered over time, now just about anyone can profess to be a Christian, of course this does not mean that they are truly Christians, nor that they have been begotten of the Father. Those who are begotten of the Father are begotten of truth, tares are begotten of error.

The true culprits in this deception have been the “blind guides” these have succeeded in convincing the majority that a mere profession of faith in Christ is all that is necessary to spirit begettal and to receive the Holy Spirit. Poor souls what they imagine to be the guidance of the Holy Spirit is nothing more than their emotions, “feelings”. The evidence that they are relying on feelings rather than the guidance of the Holy Spirit is that today they “feel” close to God, tomorrow far from him, it goes back and forth depending on how they “feel” from one day to the next.

The other evidence is that these generally give very little evidence of a knowledge of the “deep things” of the word of God, which only those guided of the spirit can comprehend. Allowances of course being made for those who are but “babes in Christ” who have not been properly educated in the truth due to various reasons, primarily because they remain in Babylon and there is very little truth there to feed upon, what little truth there is has been polluted through the doctrines and precepts of men.

Because the professing church is over-run with tares (the tare’s far out numbering the wheat) it is but natural that they hold all the leading positions in the professing church and thus dictate its teachings. These of course not being spirit begotten and therefore not spiritually minded can only perceive that which the natural man is capable of comprehending, thus the confusion and the conflicting creeds. And yes this has even affected how they perceive salvation works.

Why do Christian's call strict adherence to dogma freedom, I would think freedom is null of any adherence.

Look how much you have to write to defend "Love the Lord your God, and your neighbour as yourself"

Yes, you could say the same thing about anything. And you could claim belief in leprechauns that they give you wisdom, understanding and comfort, and I would believe that is your standing, and likely what you worship, and it would not affect me one iota.
ok. Great. Then why reply to me at all?

No, "adherence" is the wrong term. Order is more the case. With order comes peace.

But even order can be misunderstood. It is not an order as under law, but above it; not at odds, but with the flow, with truth, like birds of the air, and fish in the water. Only when we become One with God, can we truly experience: My way, My rules...because only then are they the same as Him who is all powerful. Only then can we see mountains move for us rather than against us, or take to flight.

salvation is life or death in eternity yet god only gives us clues to find true salvation. When I give my children good gifts I don’t make them try to decipher clues or other peoples opinions. I give it to them freely and hope they enjoy it. God, not so much from your description.

Show me this prison exists and we can talk more about your analogy.
