1 Thess 5:2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
We're told is that "
no man knows the day or the hour", which is extrapolated to:
No Man Knows The:
Hour; Day;
Week; Month; Season; Year (1); Decade (10); Score (20); Century (100); Daytona (500); Millennia (1,000). -- It ain't Scriptural, in fact it DEFIES Scripture, but most christians aren't either smart enough or interested enough to call out the church for their lie.
Of course, many HAVE NO CLUE as to Jesus' timing, so they're content presuming that EVERYONE is as far removed from hearing from GOD as they are. And this particularly includes "pastors" who are trained at the Semetery to believe that THEY hear from GOD, and everyone UNDER THEM relies
on what the "pastors" convey from GOD.
What a bunch of morons we are to believe the LIES of the church and the Semeteries.
The fact is, WE are INSTRUCTED to be full participants in the operation of the church, -- not just the idiots who open their wallets every week to fund the HIRELING:
1 Cor. 14: 26 What then, brethren? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. 27 If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn; and let one interpret. 28 But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silence in church and speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. 30 If a revelation is made to another sitting by, let the first be silent.
Or we can be stupid and lazy, -- without any endurance:
Rev. 13:10 ... Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
Rev. 14:12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
