You know farouk, my last couple of teeth, came out with no infections.

Well my husband Dave 81 , now had FIVE missing at the front bottom.

He is terrified of dentists...so he wont go to get them filled, cleaned, or fixed.
So when one gets wobbly he just keeps on wiggling it and wiggling it daily until he gets it out!!
He did promise he wouldn't do any before our granddaughters wedding last August, and he didn't...but I am sure he will get them all out in the end.

Yet, this is the man who is " too macho" to wear glasses outside the house, and will NOT entertain getting hearing aids....he is so deaf now, I have to shout at him. Which is a problem, because when I am talking to anyone else...I SHOUT before I remember.."Not everyone is deaf" :D

Needless to say..when we watch a movie on TV , I am sure they can hear it in the next city!! :)

Such is life in our house... LOL

Sorry to hear that- I cut beer/ shandy/ ginger beer out of his diet- he doesn't drink much but I found even one bottle seemed to trigger it off. So when he asks me to buy some I have to refuse, he gets it in his feet and it can make him immobile. There was something else I cut out as well, can't remember what though!
Certain foods trigger sometimes, but not always - I understand it can just flair up X
Rita
Yes, diet is a significant matter especially to ppl with health issues.

I just had a nice email from @Willie T ‘a wife.

Willie had knee replacement surgery and in loads of pain , and won’t be posting but sends all his best to us all. She says he hasn’t abandoned us. :)

I wish he had told us.. then we could have prayed ahead of time.
That’s a man for you. LOL

At least the surgery is behind him, just the healing time now. x

Sorry to hear this. Pain is such a debilitating thing. I hope he is a fast healer.
I hear with knee replacements a person must push through the pain and keep the knee joint moving, if not it can end up healing stiffly. I knew one lady who would not do this, so her healed almost straight like a wooden leg, she had to always use a stick after that.

I hate pain, not sure how I would do in that situation.

Praying for Willie.

While in prayer for Willie T, I thought of his pain, while The Lord was making intercession that the pain would go out from him.

Love always, Walter

Missed you yesterday...hope you are doing okay?

I am worried about @amadeus
It is eight days and he has not replied to my emails or my message on here.
His wife Kathy is often sick, and I know John himself had a 'nasty turn' the other month. In the almost 20 years I have known him, he is not silent unless one of them is sick :(

Lets be praying for them.
Thank you for remembering, Helen. I hope to be around at least for a short time each day, but I have some other priorities in place now which may limit the time I am able to spend here. Give God the glory!

I'm sooo lagged here.
Extra prayers for @amadeus and his wife.
He holds and shares much wisdom. I thought it odd he hadn't posted here.

Also @farouk prayers for a speedy recovery.

The lag is really affecting my time limits and already time to start dinner. Hope it clears soon.
Be good to yourselves and others. Amen:)
Thank you for the prayers!

Hello all. No one in a very chatty mood today?

I don't have very much myself, nothing much new here for me.
Anyone here how Willie T is doing? I have not met him yet I don't think.

Well it look like our friend @dave L has left us. :(

As much as I argued with him, he often posted good stuff when not on Calvinism or the gifts.

Maybe he feels he has 'made his stand', and has posted all he can on his favourite subjects, then moved on.

I'm sure he is not suspended for a period or Banned, because wherever his posts were on this site ...it now says 'Guest' which means he deleted his own account. as we see here and all other places where his posts are.

Pentecostalism History tidbits

Dave, bless you wherever you have moved on to. It was good while it lasted.

That must have only happened in the last few hours Helen as I am sure he was still coming up on the threads before I went out for a meal with my brother a few hours ago.
May be he just felt that we were not the right people to be around anymore !

I only just found this thread. I'm finding it so hard to find anything on this site.

Blessings @dave L indeed. He had some very good things to say even though frequently we disagreed.
