I will, I put most all atheist and non Christians such as yourselves on ignore

"You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written:

‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’

So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister." (Romans 14:10-13)

Perhaps you should remember that John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus Himself, had some very harsh words for the hypocritical Pharisees. Just as the Apostle Paul had for the hypocrisy of Peter in appeasing the "Judaizers". "Stranger" has demonstrated his zeal for the Lord's people over and over.

I've been called a "Liar" by a LOT of you ignorant anti-Catholics.
I've never used that term against anyone here.
go with that if you like BoL, but imo that is what carries you from ignorant to stupid ok. No one that matters is going to have any objection to your Catholic beliefs, BoL, you are going to be judged like all us liars and hypocrites too I guess ok, by your works. "Romans" basically means "Hegelians" I think btw, those seeking to be the winners?

Which one are you? I know that "Stranger" is not a "son of Satan" as you have called him.
I dunno, I have to witness for historyb there, according to works. Stranger has enemies, will even tell you who they are, his beliefs are Absolute Truths, so a proud Hegelian seems to me, even if Centurion's daughters may even be raised. Surely he is one of us too lol. But if you ever budge him from Standing There even a little, lemme know, I'd like to see it.

My apologies for my reaction to your interp "gone up to heaven and returned..." I mean to say that seems dubious at best :)

Thanks for the apology for the harsh words, bbyrd--no offense taken. ;)

Dubious or not, that is what the NLT translators believed gave the sense of the verse John 3:13. But, on further reflection, you may have something of a point. Some theologians believe that no other souls of humans had been able to be near the throne of the Father Almighty until Jesus took them from Paradise to Him, in His own ascension. The Hebrew people had been taught that departed souls went to sheol (otherwise known as the place of the dead--in Greek, hades) which was divided into two sections--the place of the righteous dead, known as "Abraham's Bosom" or "Paradise"; the other was a place of punishment for the unrighteous dead. The two sections were divided by an unbridgeable gulf but the souls on either side of the divide could, on occasion, speak to one another. This is the scenario presented by Jesus in the Luke 16 account of "the other Lazarus".

On the other hand, Hebrews 11:5 tells us that Enoch was taken up to heaven by God. 2 Kings 2:11 tells us that Elijah was also taken into heaven without dying. But, we need to ascertain which "heaven" is being referenced. There are three different places that are referred to as "heaven" in the Bible--(Hebrew word is shemayim and in Greek, ouranos ). One, of course, is, the place where the Almighty dwells (also known as the "Third Heaven"). The second way it is used is to refer to the atmosphere of earth--the place where birds fly. The third way it is used is referring to the universe--the stars, the moon, etc.

God calls all of us to different roles, bbyrd. Some of us are "lovers" and some of us are "fighters" (we are told in the Book of Jude to "contend [which means fight] for the faith"). But we all are striving to please God with our lives--for it is to Him which we must give account. If we knew that "Stranger" was going about sinning in many ways, that would be different. To call someone a "son of Satan" just because one dislikes his way of truth-telling, that seems the greater sin and speaks of being "puffed-up."

Well exactly. It shows error. The bible is clear, son's of Satan do Not know the Truth & they cannot speak the Truth because their father is a liar, and the father of lies.

Does all the hatred in this thread make you all feel good
Don't like people exposing the Rcc for what it is, we know, we know & you have chosen your alliance.
No brother or sister in Christ is deterred by Rome's false allegations, but we expect them.

The rcc & its allies fight the Christians that confront the false teachings and try to silence them, because they share the same beliefs as rcc. Simply shows where the heart is & his true alliance. I went through the same kind of false accusation from him in another thread, for what I said about the rcc.

Funny, you actually think that accusing many people of lying repeatedly is not the same as calling them liars?.....It just shows the level of self-delusion & dishonesty you are operating at.
"By their fruit...."
When your teacher gives you an "F" in math - she's not calling you a "Failure".
She's merely telling you that you failed to get a passing grade in her class.

If being told that you lied bothers you - the STOP lying and offending God.
"By their fruit", indeed . . .

Like I've told you about a hundred times - I'm not here to make friends or to win arguments.

I'm only here to expose people who LIE about the Catholic Church so that others who visit here aren't seduced by those lies like YOU'VE been . . .

Your false accusations against me doesn't bother me in the least. :D
The fact that you lie about calling others liars in multiple posts making the habit of dishonesty is disturbing, no matter how many times you do it.

I disagree with Luther on several things. Luther did not remove himself far enough away from the the Roman church. So, you can save your 'father' accusations for another. You need the term 'father' because you worship your so called 'catholic fathers'. You place them on equal level with the disciples, yet all the while twisting the truth about the disciples. As far as Luther rejecting James, that proves Luther had no influence as to determine any writing as Scripture. Because James was accepted as the Word of God.

There were many before Luther who were antagonistic to Romes beliefs. I say 'Rome' as to distinguish between 'Christian'. So, no, Luther was not the reason for the Reformation. He was just the trigger that set the hammer in motion. The Roman Church, in its refusal to reform, in its quest to dominate all of the Christian Churches, is the reason for the split between the Eastern Orthodox, and the Reformation.

My question to you, is, when are you Romanists going to learn? It aint going to happen. You are not going to rule the Christian Church. You are not going to enslave the believers in Jesus Christ. History has proved that you have been rejected. Yet, keep walking among your facade. Keep pretending you are God's only rightful rulers over His people. You may as well be walking in the ashes of the Notre Dame church that burned today in France.

I know, I know, you play stupid and decare you don't know what a Romanist is. But that is a lie. You know exactly what and who a Romanist is. It is you and those you serve.

Stranger
Once again, in the depths of your ignorance and dishonesty, you sling accusations that are easily-debunkable.

First of all - NOWHERE does the Church teach that we are to "worship" our priests - and nobody does.
As for "history" teaching us that Christ's Church would be rejected - we don't need history for that. HE foretold it (John 15:18-25).

It is a badge of honor . . .
