Ironic that you keep repeating that "men are fallible men are fallible" so maybe we are getting through to you vicariously. Now you just have to remember that false and fallible teachings of the RCC don't save.
The Holy Spirit isn't fallible and neither can His teachings be (John 16:12-15) - YOUR lack of faith notwithstanding . . .

WRONG.
R*E*A*D the conversation in its proper context - NOT the way you WANT it to be worded.

John 3:1-5
Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs that you are doing unless God is with him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from ABOVE.”

Nicodemus said to him, “How can a person once grown old be BORN AGAIN? Surely he cannot reenter his mother’s womb and be born again, can he?”

Jesus answered, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of WATER AND SPIRIT.

At Jesus' Baptism, He was Baptized with WATER - and the HOLY SPIRIT appeared.
WATER AND SPIRIT.

Jesus was talking about REBIRTH - not birth.
The submerging in water as Jesus was baptized signifies death, burial and resurrection. Water doesn't give us rebirth , it is the spiritual rebirth by the Holy Spirit that makes us born from above.

The baby baptism didn't save you.
The membership in the earthly religious Roman counterfeit christian church doesn't save you, it misleads you.
The belief in a faith plus false gospel of works, baby christening, through attending masses, penance, hail mary's, indulgencies, purgatory, begging Jesus mother, all of it doesn't save.
ALL of your nonsense in RED is a big fat LIE.
NOBODY teaches that this "saves" us - least of all the Catholic Church.

Where did you get this garbage??

You are really something else, because I don't belong to your religious cult & believe in the false teaching that putting a water cross or pouring water on a kids forehead saves them you accuse me of "lack of faith"? hilarious!
I have faith in the Holy Spirit, and faith in the heavenly Father, faith in Jesus my Lord and faith in the bible scripture.

I don't have faith in your RC C or the divinity of your religous figure head - the papacy, the rc priesthood and made up false doctrines.

Yup - and the prescription for that is THROUGH WATER:

1 Pet. 3:18-22

For Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous, that he might lead you to God. Put to death in the flesh, he was brought to life in the spirit.

In it he also went to preach to the spirits in prison, who had once been disobedient while God patiently waited in the days of Noah during the building of the ark, in which a few persons, eight in all, were SAVED THROUGH WATER.

This prefigured BAPTISM, WHICH SAVES YOU NOW. It is not a removal of dirt from the body but an appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to him.

YOU need to take some time OFF from this board and do your homework before responding . . .

No - apparently the ONLY thing that YOU have faith in are all of the LIES you tell here about the Catholic Church. "Divinity" of the Pope, indeed.

Do your HOMEWORK . . .

Wow its a breakthrough! We agree yes it is garbage.:)
Where did I get it from? Sitting in a pew in the RCC and reading the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

No. I am Protestant. But I am a member of the Catholic Church of Christ. Take it up with Him.

Stranger
Actually - you're not.

There is only ONE Catholic church - and I am a member - and the Pope is the successor of Peter, its first earthly head.

You're a Protestant, not a Catholic.

REALLY??
Show me WHERE the Catechism teaches that:
- Penance SAVES us.
- Begging Mary SAVES us.
- Indulgences SAVE us.
- Hail Marys SAVE us.
- Purgatory SAVES us.

If you CAN'T show me from the Catechism - then have the courage to admit that you LIED . . .

A different name for a denomination.
Ummmmmm, I realize that this conversation is a bit too high brow for you - but in order to be a different denomination - by definition, it would need to have different doctrines.

NONE of the Rites of the Catholic Church teach different doctrines. The differences are largely cultural (language, customs, etc).

I suggest you do your HOMEWORK before embarrassing yourself any further . . .

Then why are not all 23 under the authority of the Pope?

You are disingenuous. Like I have to write it. It's all pretense on your part. I've been to the funerals , I know verbatim what the Priests teach so get real. The phony outrage doesn't work with me. People in religious cults always think it remains a secret what the teachings are & to continue with denial as if no one else knows. An earnest conversation with you has been shown to be impossible.

It could be honest outrage against us.

But the honest outrage does not make it truthful outrage.

Muslims behead Christians in outrage over their faith.

In history Roman Catholic Church has slaughtered thousands of true Christians in their outrage.

Then why are not all 23 under the authority of the Pope?
EVERY Liturgical rite in the Catholic Church is under the Authority of the Pope.
From where do you get your dishonest information??

This is what YOU claimed in post #1145 and #1168:

"The belief in a faith plus false gospel of works, baby christening, through attending masses, penance, hail mary's, indulgencies, purgatory, begging Jesus mother, all of it doesn't save."

"Wow its a breakthrough! We agree yes it is garbage.

All I did was hold you accountable for your FALSE claims . . .

Really? Tell that to the Orthodox.
The Orthodox Churches are neither a "denomination" of the Catholic Church NOR a Liturgical Rite, Einstein.

Seriously - DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
This is getting embarrassing . . .

Yes, I am a Protestant, a member of the Catholic Church of Jesus Christ. The Roman Pope has no authority over me, thus I am not part of the Roman Church.

You are a member of the Catholic Church of Jesus Christ, but you submit to the authority of the Roman Pontiff, which means you are part of the Roman Church.
