This same God said in Deuteronomy that a man could just hand hisj wife a certificate of divorce
and get rid of this sacred and God-made union?

Also, Jesus said Moses laid down the change in the law,,,,not me.

My friend's daughter died yesterday after a simple outpatient light anesthesia
and in a coma for 16 days.
Now THAT I take seriously for the family and my heart is broken for them.

ALL we ever talked about happily was God! She's Home!
(I can't tell my friend that ...He's an atheist. I am appropriately serious; didn't
want to give the wrong impression...so easy to get on forums.)

And this is only the tip of the iceberg of how great the darkness in you people is, which is why you people reproach me and slander me, for telling you the truth that you do not want to hear. You would rather I tell you people happy things like your megachurch pastors do while also collecting 10% of your incomes on the side, to enrich themselves. Or, did he do it based on instruction that the Lord gave him?

I believe that the whole of scripture bears out that God gave the law to Moses at Sinai.

Therefore, it is God who allowed us to divorce our wives because of the hardness of our hearts...because He was being gracious to us, not condemning us for what would have been sin, if the Lord had not made the allowance.

Rom 5:20, Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21, That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Because the law of Moses is the law of the Lord (God).
