I am no mind reader, but you act TERRIFIED to face the fact that I love Christ.
There is not an ounce of terror in my heart concerning that. I know that you love your concept of Christ. I don't doubt it one iota; and am also not afraid of knowing that.

Question: was Jesus being gentle with the scribes and Pharisees when He called them hypocrites and sons of the devil?
My answer to the question.

My answer to the question of fruit bearing a branch

So, you never heard of either one, got it. Keep reading the scriptures, buddy.

But I might as well give you the answer right now.

I believe it is found in John 15:1-8, John 8:44, and in Matthew 23.

Janes concept of Christ?
I hold the same. And I’m not affiliated with any religion, that I know of

If I refrained from doing that (the first thing), I would be like the wicked servant who hid his talent in a napkin and buried it in the sand.

As for the 2nd, it is all based in reality and in defense of the sheep who might be deceived if someone weren't watching over them.
You just confessed that you were not qualified (above)...now you go back on your word and appoint yourself shepherd of the flock. Typical.

Once, again you're twisting things rather than actually addressing mine or anyone else's points.

That's not the fruit of someone sure of their salvation. It's the mark of somebody who's terrified: that's the core of all abusers and bullies.

I don't agree on every theological points with everyone here or most places. Often times the list of not agreed upon points is long. But I can still take the time to talk with them, understand them (and their beliefs), love them, and treat them with respect. Else I would not be following the Second Great Commandment and not be honoring God.

Answer; it’s the scribes and Pharisees in our mind (spirit) that are receiving the whipping. It’s not flesh and blood.
Also note that while Christ calls them out on things, He doesn't bully them, nor attack them, nor mock them, nor threaten. Neither did He during rest of His ministry, and scolded His disciples on such actions He preached gentleness, kindness, a coming from love.

Agreed a reproof, a conviction.

If you believe in the same Jesus as @JaneDoe_22 believes in, then you are affiliated with mormonism.

More rotten fruit

Judge ye not, lest ye be judged.

No, please don't.

You have shown no love.

Going to anyway. And if I truly haven't shown any love, you have nothing to fear from my prayers; for God won't answer them. But I know that I have done so.

Answer; it’s the scribes and Pharisees in our mind (spirit) that are receiving the whipping. It’s not flesh and blood.

The scribes and Pharisees were physical human beings like you or me. If I emulate Jesus by rebuking you as He rebuked them, am I therefore in the wrong?

Also note that while Christ calls them out on things, He doesn't bully them, nor attack them, nor mock them, nor threaten. Neither did He during rest of His ministry, and scolded His disciples on such actions He preached gentleness, kindness, a coming from love.

That's funny. Because I am finding out that @Waiting on him sympathizes with mormonism; and there is a sense in which the three of you are ganging up on me. Praise the Lord! Because of what is written in 1 Corinthians 16:9.

Answer; never heard of fruit bearing a branch, but I know if a fruit goes into the ground and dies it can sprout a branch

The statement in question was that a branch bears fruit and is pruned from time to time by the husbandman.

So, I took a break from my normal seeking to be blameless in my appearance as a Christian, to see who among you would be the judgmental type; showing themselves to be disobedient to the Sermon on the Mount.

The results are evident.

Not to mention, I am going to continue to behave in such a manner; because I believe that the Lord has stripped me of my own righteousness and is going to impart His righteousness unto me in due process of time.

In the meantime, shame on the lot of you for disobeying Matthew 7:1-6.

Oh, that's rich---you have loved to repeatedly falsely accuse me.

Oh come now--be specific, be bold! Who exactly did what exactly?

My estimation of you is not false...I am going to pray that the Lord opens your eyes to the reality of true Christianity (that gnosticism was opposed to it in the 1st and 2nd Centuries and beyond) so that you can really be born again...not by special knowledge, but through a relationship with Jesus Christ. And if that isn't love, I don't know what is. Because you seem to want it to be the case that I am not going to live much longer of a life.

Quotable. The pit has no bottom.
