Does someone come in the name of an unmentioned name?Sure we do.
“In His name” means “by His Authority”.
Do I need to show you the example of the Knight and the King again??
I wish you would baptize in the actual name of the son, instead of the title of the name. Why would I call ANY king my “son” is he wasn’t??
The King of Kings commanded His disciples to Baptize in the name of the Son – along with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
This isn’t rocket science . . .
In the mind of God which is timeless, Jesus was born and died before the world began Col 1 and Rev 13:8.It is my understanding that Jesus is fully God from before He was born; and that He descended to become a Man; but that when He resurrected He received a glorified body, likened unto the heavenly angels. Thus Jesus is the chief cornerstone of the Elohim (the Bright and Morning Star).
My position is not non-Trinitarian...
What you are responding to here, was in response to your last post.
By saying that Jesus is not the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, you have denied that Jesus is God. For are not the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit God? In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
If Jesus is not the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, then Jesus is not the name of God; and therefore how is it in your opinion that Jesus is God?
Do you purport that Jesus is 1/3 of God; or that He is a 2nd God who descended to become a Man?
I hold that Jesus is God in the flesh.
This is how I know that I will not die in my sins; because I believe that Jesus is the great I AM.
Since salvation is "not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:9) it follows that the works that we do as believers do not earn salvation but are because we have salvation and are subsequent to salvation; since works do not save, therefore our good works are not unto salvation, but our salvation is unto good works.
The Son always has been and always will be God.Was Jesus God when he became a microscopic sperm cell to fertilize Mary’s egg?
Or, after resurrection day?
People have declared MANY things in the name of the King throughout history.Does someone come in the name of an unmentioned name?
No – Peter would have baptized as his Lord commanded:I wish you would baptize in the actual name of the son, instead of the title of the name.
Peter would wish so also.
You’re Scriptural perversions never cease . . .In the mind of God which is timeless, Jesus was born and died before the world began Col 1 and Rev 13:8.
Yes, he is seen at his crucifixion in Psalm 22:1-18.
God made the world by and for him way back then.
You’re Scriptural perversions never cease . . .
Jesus wasn’t crucified before the world began.
Rev. 13:8 shows that His sacrifice is ETERNAL – hence the term. “before the foundations of the world.”
He was crucified in the early part of the 1st century.
However, since God is OUTSIDE of time (2 Pet. 3:8), His sacrifice is eternal, as He “lives forever to intercede for us” (Heb. 7:25).
This is yet another instance where your complete ignorance of Scriptural language causes you great confusion . . .
Ummmmmm, Psalm 22 is a prophetic text – not a proof text that Christ was already crucified. Not so. Truther is neither ignorant, confused, nor spouting scriptural perversions. Let's look at what he said...

"In the mind of God which is timeless, Jesus was born and died before the world began Col 1 and Rev 13:8.
Yes, he is seen at his crucifixion in Psalm 22:1-18.
God made the world by and for him way back then."
Now lets break this down...
"In the mind of God which is timeless, Jesus was born and died before the world began Col 1 and Rev 13:8."
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
"Yes, he is seen at his crucifixion in Psalm 22:1-18."
Psalms 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Note: Jesus also quoted that on the cross.
"God made the world by and for him way back then."
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2] The same was in the beginning with God.
3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Conclusion:
I see no "Scriptural perversions" nor any "complete ignorance of Scriptural language"
However, time and again I see you have accused others of those very things. There seems to be an underlying factor. And unless or until you humble yourself, and come down off that high horse, Jesus probably wouldn’t even attempt to reason with you.
Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Hope to see you in Heaven someday,
God Bless!
Ummmmmm, Psalm 22 is a prophetic text – not a proof text that Christ was already crucified.
Learn the difference.
ALL of these verses point to the fact that His sacrifice is ETERNAL – not that it happened in Heaven before it happened on earth. This is type of skewed understanding of the word of God that leads you two to deny the Triune Godhead.
Good luck with that . . .
What does @Truther or YOU know about the mind of GodPerhaps you missed "Truthers" opening line, "In the mind of God"
You are certainly "free" to condemn him in your haste, but my evaluation stands.
God Bless!
We know God does not have 3 thought processes(minds) as trins think.
Well, you sound sincere – but a bit confused.I too, started out as a trinitarian. I came across those who discussed the Godhead and I denied what was said (same as you do). When water baptism came into the discussion, I could not deny it. I searched the New Testament, and everywhere an actual baptism was taking place, it was full immersion into the water, and in Jesus name.
I opened the local phone book and searched for a church that would baptize me the Bible way, that was no easy task. However, I did find one and I got baptized in Jesus name. Several months later, I received the Holy Ghost the same as they did in the book of Acts, I began to speak in another language as the spirit gave the utterance. For months afterward there was a spiritual shield in front of me and the things that would normally get me angry could not anymore. The darts of the enemy could not get through the shield. This was the difference between night and day.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my testimony with you.
I really do hope to see you in Heaven some day,
God Bless!

Peter would have said the titles? No – Peter would have baptized as his Lord commanded:
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Just because you’re disobedient – doesn’t mean that Peter was . . .
Nobody said He did.We know God does not have 3 thought processes(minds) as trins think.
Just as Jesus instructed.Peter would have said the titles?
Well why didn’t he?
