Ummmmm, grow up.
That's really all I can say to this drivel . . .
Do you talk to statues?

I know all about it, because I was taught to talk to them since catechism.

I stopped talking to statues in the 1970’s and am glad I did.

When are you going to cut it out?

You don't even have a CLUE as to what motivated your Protestant Fathers because you ignore history.
Pathetic . . .
Actually, Luther was a Catholic.
Are you ashamed of him for what he did to the RCC?

When I was in the RCC, my favorite statue to talk to was the one of Mother Mary.
Which is your favorite?

Same thing.
Uhhhhh, no – it’s not.

I am supposed to judge a person’s fruit – what they say and do (Matt. 7:15-20).
I’m NOT supposed to judge their heart or soul (Matt. 7:1-2).

Learn the difference . . .
Nope.
At least you realize that I was not bearing false witness before...at least you got that straight.
You absolutely bore false witness by accusing me of something I never did.

Maybe you can show me where the Catechism teaches us to talk to statues.
CAN you do that??

Justify and rationalize your sinful behaviour...it's on you...

There is nothing remotely "sinful" about holding people accountable for what they publicly say.
Calling someone's statements idiotic is tantamount to calling them an idiot...(which is a sin according to our Lord)

You are guilty, like it or not.

I guess you have to go and confess this sin to a priest now, don't you?

If I had done the same, I can go directly to the Lord...an advantage that can be found in Protestantism.

I was in catechism in the late 60's and they plopped us in front of a statue of Mary and taught us the "hail Mary full of grace...." prayer.

We were trained to kneel in front of "her" and pray the rosary.

Do they teach it online now?

Actually, you're both STILL Catholic - just apostate.
Hopefully, Luther wasn't eternally damned.
Oh, so the just shall NOT live by faith per the RCC?

So, the Pope that excommunicated Luther didn't damn him to eternal hell in the process as a "heretic"?

Sure I do.
Martin Luther is famously celebrated in world history for kick starting the Reformation.

Only the RCC's obscure memory of history has relapses from time to time of what happened to them as Luther shamed them to the German public.

Some things they would love to forget, that being at the top of the list.

The RCC was extremely happy with full control of the scripture and a half illiterate public until Luther got involved .

No, there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.

Why did you reject Jesus Christ as your one and only mediator and replace him with the RCC?
I don't replace Jesus Christ with anything or anyone. The Catholic Church acts as a mediator between mankind and "the man, Christ Jesus." .That's one reason for Jesus creating the Church.

Now the public can read the Bible and millions of them get it WRONG. That's because only the Catholic Church is guided by the Holy Spirit to correctly interpret the Scriptures.

Of course he can't. Truther is a dishonest bs-artist and hate-monger who claims all manner of idiotic, mendacious nonsense about the Catholic Church, but can't substantiate any of it. What a clown.

No Catholic is taught to talk to statues. What happened was, you're such a dunce that you totally misunderstood what Catholic statues are for. Sadly, you're still a dunce, and you still totally misunderstand Catholic teachings.

You don't get it.
I am speaking of Pentecost, the church started on the day of Pentecost, not the 2nd or 3rd century etc.

That church was nameless.
If the Church was initially nameless, so what?

study God's word alone and memorize it.
Nowhere does the Bible tell us to study only the Scriptures - that is a man-made tradition. On the contrary, we are told that the Church is the "pillar and foundation of the truth". So if you should study anything, it's the teachings of the Church. Therefore I recommend that you replace the Bible as your primary and sole source of truth with the Catechism of the Catholic Church. In this way, you will learn the correct interpretation of Scripture and a lot more besides.
