This is what you have when people look too men to tell them what they believe. That kind of heresy against Christ The New Covenant is 'over the top'. Should never... be allowed on a Christian forum.

Well thank the Lord (literally) you are not the administrator of this forum else all truth would be stifled and nothing but the errors of the church nominal taught here.
Your comment here suggest you have very little understanding of the subject. As stated the True Church is not under the New Covenant but are when glorified to be made administrators with their Lord, as the Great Mediator to mediate this covenant with Israel first and through them to the rest of the world.
If you believe you are under the New Covenant then you can't be part of the True Church, but either of Israel or the world. Of course this covenant has not yet gone into effect as the Great Mediator of that covenant (the Church complete, both Head and body) is not yet complete.
Also the drinking of this blood is the fellowship of His sufferings. If we’re drinking of His cup and eating His body then we are of this covenant.Matt 26:26-28
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body.
27 And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
KJV
You've already shown your true colors then, that you are not a true believer on Jesus Christ, because He is The New Covenant represented there by His Blood.
And you have no remission of sins either, since you don't believe The New Covenant is what Jesus offered there by His Own Blood. That is what it means to believe The New Covenant is not in effect today. And thinking that kind of idea shows a total... lack of understanding!
The church which is His (Christ's) body is, 'the fulness of Him that filleth all in all,
Hello @Davy,No, she is actually talking about a very... dangerous... idea that is not Biblical, but is heresy.
She is basically saying The New Covenant (Jesus Christ) is not with the Church, but 'will be' with Israel, pointing to the future. That basically is heresy, because our Lord Jesus Christ is... The New Covenant. And all those who have believed on The Father through Christ's Blood shed upon the cross are IN... The New Covenant right now. It ain't no 'will be' situation, The New Covenant is in effect right now, today, since Jesus died on the cross. That is why her belief is a heretical doctrine and if it were true would mean we all... are still under the old covenant.
But the hard truth those have a hard time receiving is that the old covenant indeed is DEAD.
Hi Waiting!Thank you, still trying to wrap my small brain around all of this. I was of the understanding that I’m a child of God (born from above) if born of God then at some point there was a marriage
Or there’s other alternatives
God has children out of wedlock?
I’m not a child of God?
Check it again Chris, it has been unliked as it was done by accident. I noticed when I went back to re read some of the posts...Hello @Davy,
With respect to you, If you have anything to say 'about' me, then please say it to me personally, and not 'behind my back', though I can read it along with everyone else. You say that I am a heretic!!
I am not saying that Jesus Christ is not with the Church. That is a flagrant misuse of the New Covenant, as well as being a lie. The New Covenant is to be made with Israel in a yet future time now, because they failed to repent and recognise the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah and King during the period covered by the gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. So the New Covenant is in abeyance until the day when they do recognise Him in both capacities, according to the Old Testament prophets.
The Lord Jesus Christ is not 'The New Covenant', but the Mediator of it.
It saddens me to see that @Nancy has actually indicated her agreement by pressing the 'like' button.
Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
Chris
I couldn’t agree more, it’s like they were singing a new song.
I believe I understand your position now, not born of but adopted into the family?
With respect, Charity, Ephesians 1 speaks of "Christ given to the Church as Head", "20 HIM, God raised from the dead and set on His Own Right Hand ..

Not The Body, the Church, but The Head, the Given-as-Head-Christ, is "The Fullness".

This covenant your all disputing is a marriage agreement. If you wish to say your not a part of it, then I have no choice but to say...... okayHi Waiting!
I think we are the "betrothed" of Christ as the wedding hasn't happened yet?

As He reached, With His hand stretched out still toward you and you “took hold of His peace” (Isaiah 27:4-5) ...so must they enter into the NC and take hold of His peace. Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
The problem is for some He’s yet to lift the brides vailJames 3:17-18 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. [18] And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make (take hold of) peace.
how can “the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace” of “them that take hold of peace”; without entering into the New Covenant; the removal of the body of sins (the vail) through the circumcision of Christ.
I’ll pray he lifts the vailHi Waiting!

You gave it earlier,Hello there, @Waiting on him,
With respect, the New Covenant which will be made with Israel, will replace the Old Covenant made with the children of Israel by God at Sinai. Would you please give the Scripture reference which tells us that this covenant is a marriage agreement.
Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chis

That’s weird, the very thing on my mind before you posted.Psalm 85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
You may now kiss your bride. That’s weird, the very thing on my mind before you posted.
