I'm not "exalting" myself at all - and I'm not "stepping" on anybody.
I am merely giving YOU the Scriptural and historical spanking you deserve for your false attacks on Christ's Church.

- Jerusalem sits on 7 Hills - Vatican Hill isn't one of the 7 hills of Rome.
- Rev. 17:6 says that the Harlot is drunk oon the blood of the saints and martyrs.
- Apostate Jerusalem cooperated with Pagan Rome in the persecution of the Early Church.
- Apostate Jerusalem killed the prophets.
- Rev. 11:8 refers to Jerusalem as "...the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified."
- Isaiah 1:21 says about Apostate Jerusalem, "...the faithful city has become a HARLOT."

Now, STUDY your Bible and stop embarrassing yourself with your ignorant nonsense. . .

Revelation 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

There are two ruling bodies of the roman catholic church.

1. Collage of cardinals
2. Collage of bishops

It is the roman policy that the cardinals wear red, while the bishops and non-cardinal arch bishops wear purple.

Revelation 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Throughout the ages of time, the RCC has been a great persecutor of Christians who would not join themselves to the church, and in one six year period alone, six million people were put to death during the time of the inquisition.

One of the reasons the RCC of called is "MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT" is because it has changed many central doctrines of the New Testament Church. For example, there was no sprinkling for baptism in the Bible, NONE, NEVER DONE. There was no baptism for infants in the Bible...

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

You cant "believe" when your an eight day old baby!

Another "made up doctrine" is your priest celibacy. Why is that causing such troubles?...

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Why is the RCC depicted as a Harlot? The RCC came up with a doctrine that there is a Plurality of Deities, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost and these are THREE Separate Persons.

When this doctrine was formed (in 325 AD), that is when the RCC went "whoring" because the Bible says...

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

However, the RCC says: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is THREE:

The RCC goes "Whoring"...

When we are Baptized in JESUS NAME, that is when we become the Bride of Christ, and that's when we take on His NAME.

Now, Satan wanted to take the NAME out of it because he knows the importance of it and that's the reason for the formulation of the doctrine of the trinity.

Here is what GOD SAYS...

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

The Judgment of the GREAT WHORE....

Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

Why does she say " I sit a queen, and am no widow" ... because she forsake Jesus NAME and took it out of BAPTISM. She replaced it with titles father, son, holy ghost. She NEVER took on the bride grooms NAME, therefor she is a widow (which may be included in the "I never knew you" crowd too.)

Revelation 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Show me where EACH one is called " The Great City".

I want the verses.
Let me fix your wagon.

Old city Jerusalem....

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Rome....

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.....

18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth...

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

The New Jerusalem City....

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband....

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

This is complete nonsense - but NOT surprising, coming from a person who denies Christ and espouses heresy.

Let's start with your idiotic fantasy of it being "Roman Policy" about Cardinals in Red and Bishops in Purple.

A Catholic Cardinal . . .
Card._Francis_Arinze.jpg

A Catholic Bishop . . .

109870595_1452099495.jpg

Let's move onto your asinine charge about "6 million" people killed by the Church in a six year period.
First of all - Not ONE SINGLE PERSON has ever been put to death by the Church. these were the actions of Governments.

Secondly - the Inquisitions in Europe, which lasted some 400 years resulted in the deaths of about 3000-4000 people. AGAIN, by the State - NOT the Church. Six million is a really stupid charge . . .

As for Baptism - NONE of you has been able to show me ONE detailed instruction for HOW to Baptize somebody in the pages of Scripture - yet you INSIST that Immersion is the "ONLY" valid way. WHY is that??

As for Priestly Celibacy - this is a matter of DISCIPLINE, not doctrine - and can theoretically change.
HOWEVER - it is recommended in the Bible (1 Cor. 7) - NOT condemned.

Finally - the following verses of Scripture destroy your heresy that there is NO Trinity . . .
(Gen. 1:26, Matt. 28:19, John 15:26, 1 Cor. 12:4-6, 2 Cor. 13:14, 1 John 5:7, Eph. 4:6, Psalm 68:5, Mal. 2:10, Isa. 63:16, 2 Cor. 1:3-4, John 3:16, John 8:41, 1 Thess. 3:13, Isa. 7:14, Isa. 9:6, John 1:1, John 1:3, John 8:58, John 10:30, John 15:9, John 20:28, Acts 5:3-4, 2 Cor. 4:4, Phil. 2:6, Col. 2:9, 1 Tim. 3:16, Heb. 1:8, Tit. 2:13, John 14:16-18, Luke 12:10, 2 Cor. 3:17, 2 Cor. 13:5, John 14:23, Acts 5:3-4).

Why are you moving the goal posts??
This was never about the Trinity - but about the Pope.

YOU made an argument that a sinful Pope could not possibly teach infallibly – and I reminded you that it was the Holy Spirit – and NOT the Pope who led the Church to ALL Truth (John 16:12-15). GOD is in charge – not Satan.

Then, I reminded you that God uses sinful men to do His will as HE pleases – men like Pharoah and Caiaphas and Pilate.

NOW – you’re getting into a semantic argument about the Trinity.
This isn’t an argument about the Trinity – but about the POPE teaching infallibly.

Try to stay on track . . .

Then where is the Holy Spirit reproving the Pope for living in sin so that by walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son, he can be led by the Spirit to be this so called infallible Pope that can teach no errors? That doesn't track, because if he is not listening to the Holy Spirit to repent from living in sin, then how can he be infallible if supposedly he is listening to the Holy Spirit to teach no error? Again, it doesn't track, brother.

No - I don't agree to that.

You are disagreeing with a set definition of a word because it doesn't fit YOUR position.
That is nothing but moral relativism.

That can be said equally of you, brother, for trying so hard to defend everything Catholicism. Only God can show you your errors. I cannot.

This is what I have been trying to tell you. God answers the prayers presented to Him by the saints, NOT THE SAINTS THEMSELVES.

The saints in Heaven are not praying when God is right there. And the saints in Heaven do not know what is going on earth to ask God for anything that God the Father does not already knows thanks to Jesus Christ knowing our hearts ( Hebrews 4:12-16 ) as well as His knowing the mind of the Spirit to give His silent intercessions to the Father.

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

To believe that Mary or the departed saints are necessary for God the Father to know everything, as if Jesus as God cannot do it all, is dishonoring the Son as the Only Mediator between God and men. It is men from the land of the living that can "pray" for others, but once in Heaven, that job solely belongs to Jesus and He is God for why it is only His job in Heaven.

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Sooooo much ignorance, it make your head spin . . .
Let's start with your false clai that those in Heaven "don't know what's going on earth".

Heb. 12:1 says explicitly:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of WITNESSES, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

Ummmmm, last time I checked - a "Witness" usually sees and hears things. The writer of Hebrews is telling his readers to behave themselves because they are being watched by those who went before us.

Rev. 6:9-10 states plainly:
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?"

The martyrs are WATCHING from Heaven what is happening and wondering how long it will take before their blood is avenged.

As for your claims about "repetitious prayer" - you don't know your Bible.
In Matt. 6:7, he was speaking about the nonsensical babbling of PAGANS to their gods – NOT the sincere prayers of the faithful. We read about them in 1 Kings 18:26-29, where the pagan prophets on Mount Carmel tried to invoke Baal all day long, repeatedly calling on his name and performing ritual dances.

- In Matt. 26:44, Jesus himself prayed the EXACT SAME PRAYER three times in the Garden of Gethsemane after the Last Supper.

- In the
Parable of the Determined Widow in Luke 18:-87, Jesus emphatically states that God hears those who keep petitioning him in sincere faith: “Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily.”

- In
Luke 18:13, the tax collector kept beating his breast and praying, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.” This was pleasing to God.

- We see in
Rev. 4:8 that the angels pray the EXACT SAME PRAYER day and night without ceasing in the presence of almighty God, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty.”

- Psalm 136 goes on for 26 verses in a row, repeating the EXACT SAME PRAYER same prayer, “God's love endures forever”.

- Similarly, in Dan. 3:56-88 we read the EXACT SAME PRAYER for 32 verses, which is “bless the Lord; praise and exalt him above all forever.”

Stop QUOTiNG the Bible unti you LEARN what it is saying . . .

Of course you "cannot" because christ's Church doesn't teach error.

Like Muslims are not allowed to question the Koran when here are errors in the Koran in relations to the scripture?

When the Catholic Church teaches something not found in scripture that was taught to the early churches in the N.T., it can be found wanting.

Errors of the Roman Catholic Church, Part 1

As Christ Himself promised - the Holy Spirit guides His Church to ALL Truth (John 16:12-15).

Actually, that promise is to every believer in Jesus Christ; not about as if that promise was only given to the "Church" as in the Catholic Church.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Errors of the Roman Catholic Church, Part 1
WRONG.
Scripture itself teaches that Apostolic/Sacred Tradition is ON PAR with Scripture:

2 Thess 2:15
"Stand firm and hold fast to the Traditions you were taught, EITHER BY an ORAL STATEMENT - OR BY a LETTER from us."

There is NO expiration date in 2 Thess. 2:15 . . .
WRONG.

If that guarantee were to each individual believer - then Jesus would have told the CROWDS - not His inner circle only.
ALSO - there wouldn't be tens of thousands of disjointed and perpetually-splintering Protestant sects that ALL teach different doctrines yet ALL claim to have been "led" by the Holy spirit.

God is NOT the author of confusion

HUH??
This is about THE most stupid thing you've said yet.

Sooooo, praying is a "waste" of time because God ALREADY knows what we want??
That's NOT what Jesus said - and HE Himself prayed repetitiously, as I already showed you.

Said traditions as found in scripture; not new ones created by the Catholic Church not found as taught in scripture. Big difference.

Your ignorance - although astounding - is consistent . . .
I whooped you, Catholic.

HUH??
This is about THE most stupid thing you've said yet.

Sooooo, praying is a "waste" of time because God ALREADY knows what we want??
That's NOT what Jesus said - and HE Himself prayed repetitiously, as I already showed you.

I understand that you can lose track of our conversation with so many others in this thread, but we are talking about why Jesus Christ does not need any help as the only Mediator between God and men in Heaven. The fact that God the Father knows before we even ask, shows Jesus can handle the job all by Himself. See? No one else need apply.

Of course you "cannot" because christ's Church doesn't teach error.

As Christ Himself promised - the Holy Spirit guides His Church to ALL Truth (John 16:12-15).
Yeah, just ask the kids at the garbage dump that Mary appears to and chats with, and ask the crying statues. Then ask the priest to remit your sins....

There are some practices that are outright against scripture.

Matthew 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

I am aware of the reference to Paul use of the term father to himself but I do not believe he was using that to infer he was being called "father", but on how he felt responsible to the converted flock. …. So just because CC uses Paul's reference for an excuse for why Catholics call them "fathers", Jesus plainly spoke against it and the lack of such titles to the disciples in the epistles shows the CC wanting for doing that practice.
Of all the dumb anti-Catholic arguments, this one must be the dumbest. Matt 23:9 says, “call no man your father on earth” - so I can’t call my biological father, my Father?

In Acts 7:2, Stephen addresses the Jewish religious leaders as “Brethren and fathers”. Likewise, in Acts 22:1, Paul addresses the tribune as “Brethren and fathers”.

Matt 28:8 says “But you are not be called rabbi, for your have one teacher” - so we cannot call anyone a teacher? We can’t call a school teacher, a “teacher“?

As is the wont of fundamentalists, they interpret this passage literally, when anyone with half a brain realizes it shouldn’t be.
What about the report of a few Catholic priests testifying to Satanists in the Vatican?
Even if such reports were true, it doesn’t prove that what the Catholic Church teaches as doctrine is false. The Catholic Church is the word of God - she is guided by the Holy Spirit, who cannot teach errors and falsehoods.

The 7 Popes that were living in sin. How can they as spiritual leaders be considered infallible by what they teach if they were living in sin?
It would seem you don’t understand the doctrine of Papal Infallibility. A Pope does not need be Impeccable (faultless) in order to be Infallible.

King David killed Uriah in order to take his wife, for which God punished him with terrible curses - yet David wrote the book of Psalms. David did not have to be Impeccable in order for God to use him to write infallible words of Scripture. Furthermore, all the prophets (except Jesus) were sinners and not Impeccable, yet when God spoke through them, they were Infallible.
I know you guys mean that only what he teaches is where he is infallible, BUT I am talking about the spiritual state of that Pope while living in sin. How can he teach without error when he is living in unrepentant error at that time when he is teaching?
Simple - the Holy Spirit prevents the Pope from teaching error - just as the Holy Spirit prevented the prophets from preaching error.
