You leaving? Too bad. Was hoping we could show you trust faith and what it looks like

No just good bye to you. Still waiting for others to reply. Got to be some that are confident enough to have a real facts based discussion. You have a ton of like-minded people to walk with, enjoy!

And the point of your post is....
The point is there. If you agree with me amen. I have found some disagree with these simple fundamentals of our walk.
There are two here who continually dispute walking in purity and holiness, so such a testimony is needed. God bless you

I am still waiting for you to show me and the room where I messed up

Her was my yet unanswered response to you

for we walk by FAITH not by SITE

Faith is the substance of things HOPED FOR the evidence of things NOT SEEN

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

in the HOPE of eternal life, which God, who CAN NOT LIE, promised before time began

For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Need more?

Thank you for your non-reply. It would be more gracious if you answered my question as obviously the point that is there is not obvious to me.

Salvation is not an unconditional guarantee therefore many verses have the verb "believe" in the present tense denoting that salvation is a process that must be ongoing, sustained. Per Ephesians 2:10; Titus 3:8; Titus 2:14 Christians are to "maintain good works" keep producing fruit else will fall away and become lost (Matthew 7:19).
What we need to consider is not to confuse Justification and Sanctification. They are not the same thing although one cannot have sanctification without Justification because only those who have been justified by faith alone in Christ can develop sanctification.

Justification is God's verdict that we are "not guilty" of our sin, not because we are able to stop sinning, but that Jesus, when He died on the cross, took the guilt and penalty of sin from us on to Himself, thereby enabling the Father to pronounce us "not guilty". This is not on the basis of our works of any kind. Our good deeds do not contribute in any way to Justification, because it is the free, unearned gift of God.

But sanctification which needs to follow justification is based on our observance to God's moral law, except that it is not the set of external regulations, but the law which is written on the fleshy tables of our transformed hearts. This is why an unconverted person cannot develop sanctification, because their heart is not right with God. It needs the thorough transformation that comes with true conversion to Christ, described as being "born again". This is why the Scripture says, "If any person be in Christ they are a new creature; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new." This is not a person deciding to join a church, put on the Christian badge, live a moral life, and start talking Christian jargon. It is not even learning and believing the Bible, because the demons know that, but they cannot be converted to Christ.

True conversion is to be sought of God with all ones heart, until the transformation occurs. The entry point is believing the gospel, confessing sinfulness, and embracing Christ as Saviour, then the new believer starts seeking God with a vengeance for the Holy Spirit to do the total transformation of their hear to love God and hate sin. Once that happens, the sanctification process can start, and it continues in lifelong development until we are resurrected to glory to be with Christ. At that point the process of sanctification is instantly completed.

Paul lists the works of the flesh, and he instructs that the converted believer turns away from them and adopts conduct conductive to the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control; against such there is no law.

So, the Holy Spirit prompts us to avoid those actions which go against God's moral law, and gives the strength to be to do it. He is the Person who works within us to conform us to the image of Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is the spirit of Christ, and those who don't conduct themselves accordingly are none of His.

We will never be sinlessly perfect until we meet the Lord face to face, but the genuinely converted believer hates sin, mainly in himself, but loves the sinner, whether the person be unsaved, or a fellow believer struggling with the flesh.

This is a big question. I wish someone would pick it up. The fact that we can't and see that we don't and aren't, tells us where we are, and it's not as far as we may have supposed we are.
I think this is the first step all must do.

Realise we can't and don't do this.

WHen we start thinking we do. and have arrived, I think this is when we get into trouble.

In our defense, we have the indoctrinations crammed down our throats that we are already holy and its positionally (it literally almost gags me to type that word, it's the "P" word) and that we can't walk in holiness in this life because its impossible.

This is to trample the Blood underfoot and treat it as if its as common as the blood of bulls and goats that covers sins even as one keeps sinning.

I realize this is too huge of a topic to be covered quickly.

I have agreed with a lot you've said. As I said previously, when I read your posts I was very happy to have found you. It is how you spoke in the post I quoted that was from a wrong spirit. You dismissed the person for misspelling a word and saw them as beneath you in amount of study.

If i err in the way i speak to someone and I speak in a haughty and mocking spirit, I expect you to help me by a gentle admonishment rather than ignore it and let me continue in a manner that harms me. I expect that help and encouragement from you when I need it and I will not withhold it from you if you need it.

It's simple with me. I look for those who are willing to put their understanding on the table to be tested. And by the same token, I put my understandings on the table also. But if someone doesn't agree with the understanding I've presented, they " must" replace with a better one.

Name-calling, misrepresentation is just an automatic disconnect for me at the point in my walk. If your being honest and can see something you want, you'd better be able to look past the messenger and focus on the message.

What I focus on is the very beginning of the Salvation journey and how Faith is correctly applied. If this is not done correctly, talking about the deeper things of God are a waste of both our time.

So have you looked at all my posts in the archives? Or just the ones on this thread?

i think we need to realise the grace that sustains us.

We can't go thinking about performance. our goal should always be, who can I serve. What can I do to help others (others focused)

the problem is. We are told by some we are holy in the way we act. when in fact we are not (this is dangerous. I know I lived it)

if we think we are right at all costs. And are not even willing to look at others views without discussing them

we are already in trouble

if someone disagrees with you and it offends you. We are even in more trouble
