Yes! And I pray that believers will not confuse "it's time" as referring to the rapture or His return
...this is specifically about the great Awakening and God restoring His Church....preparing us to reap a great harvest. Empowering us to be His Disciples walking as Jesus did. Equipping the saints.

LOL, I would say- "What Rapture!" :)

God gets His army ready for His glory and mighty Arm to be revealed upon the earth, not to take His people out. Oil in the lamp should be checked right now.
Fasten our spiritual seat belts ......We are not here for the calamity , but as you say....to point the Way, though calamity. This is indeed a "Wake-Up" call.

Amen,
It has always been His way hasn't it? To take us through our tribulations and I see this as no different but...as you say, seat belts on, oil back up, and hang on, it will be a big one! Faith, faith, faith has to be so strong, even though we know what is coming down the road...faith, courage, peace.

Yes...and Love! Perfect love casteth out all fear.
We can boldly walk in the Joy and Peace of the Lord because He promised us that He will be with us and will strengthen us.

For sure, and how could I have forgotten to write Love, it's the most important?! Joy as well...thinking of times past, falling apart over the smallest, dumbest things and wondering where my faith was, haha...thinking, how will I ever have faith for the big things if I can't in the smaller things. He has brought me far from whence I came! :)
My brothers and sisters (IRL fam.) believe in the rapture...and as I speak to them about why I no longer do, they seem to loose hope...I hate that but, how can we deny what we believe God has shown us?
Christians, rapturists or not, should still be well prepared, keeping their armor on all the time...we should not be taken by surprise, we've been warned and warned over and over. God help us!

@Heart2Soul Hi H2S, I like your message and your encouraging sentiments to everyone, but my stars, your words just appear to be absolutely isle to me? I agree, awaken and profess the faith in both favourable times an unfavourable. But, what a false hope that you are giving everyone, by claiming that God has told you that a Great Awakening is at hand? Are you absolutely sure about this, can we look back 5 or 10 years from now and see thwe Word of God more prevalent in the world than we do now? Will there be more conversions, miracles, speaking in tongues and other manifestation of the Spirit in the immediate future, based on this revelation that you received?

I like your spirit and enthusiasm, and I imagine love for God, but claiming that God the message that you are professing on this thread, with so much certitude and specificity, sounds to me somewhat audacious on your part? For you spoke with nothing but clichés, that we've heard for centuries.
I hope that you are correct, as much as I hope that every day or year someone can affirm the same message, but excuse me if I remain rather dubious about your prophecy?

I can't ask you to believe what you don't want to believe.....It is between you and God....and regardless whether you believe it is going to happen when it does you still get to be a part of it!:)
What I have shared has been corporately given to all of His people who have ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say.....I am not the only one receiving this. Hundreds of testimonies are pouring out about the outpouring....
Look around...it's already happening in foreign countries.....In China alone there was a rebellious uprising of the people against the government that dictates their lives even their religion.....people of other faiths are getting saved in huge numbers....
Testimonies are pouring in of supernatural healings and deliverances and manifestations of God's supernatural power....
People are HUNGRY for a move of God upon the face of the earth....evil has become so acceptable by so many that it is the norm now.....as it was written evil will be called good and good evil.

The American Church Needs Spiritual Restoration & Renewal
Summary: The American Church today is not healthy. Biblical illiteracy is widespread. Too many churches imitate the trends of secular society. One respected researcher declares that Christians in America are hardly distinguishable from unbelievers. But there is much room for hope of a spiritual awakening. God’s Word reveals His plans for the spiritual restoration of the Church.
Isaiah 58:11-12 The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
Acts 3:19-21 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that
times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you — even Jesus. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
•• These Scriptures clearly show that God’s heart for His people and His church is spiritual renewal. Notice the key words that God uses, indicating His heart to bring His followers to a place of newness and recovery:
rebuilding the ancient ruins

raising up the age-old foundations

repairing that which is broken

refreshing

restoring the church!
•• If you have fallen into the trap of seeing a bleak future for the Lord’s Church in our time, I want to cure you of that erroneous thinking today and fill your heart with optimism.
• God has promised both times of refreshing and heaven-sent restoration (Acts 3:19, 21).

• God intends that His people participate in His plans for rebuilding and raising up the age-old foundations, for repairing the things that are broken down.

Your people will rebuild ... and will raise up...” (Isaiah 58:12).

You will be called Repairer ... Restorer” (vs. 12).

• If you think that the Church in materialistic America lies in ruins in the early 21st century, then know this — God intends to “rebuild the ancient ruins and ... raise up the age-old foundations” (vs. 12).
•• I believe that spiritual restoration of the Church is coming! Let’s look at some biblical things that are likely to be seen in God’s times of refreshing and restoration.
1. Widespread, heartfelt repentance and a hungering and thirsting for righteousness and personal holiness.
Acts 2:37-38 “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent!...”
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
•• Expect the Spirit of God to move in the hearts of multitudes to repent of their sins and to begin to pursue lives of holiness before God.
• In many revivals in time past, virtually entire cities turned to the Lord in repentance and faith. Bars closed down. The police found their work to be easy. Why? Because in times of heaven-sent spiritual awakening, people’s hearts had turned to the Lord, and they were pursuing His righteousness.

• Expect to see these things in our day!
2. A renewed, mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, with multitudes baptized in the Spirit, speaking in tongues, and moving mightily in God’s power.
Acts 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

•• Don’t let the Church be robbed of this blessing. It is for the Church today, just as in the first century.
• Jesus Christ, the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11), is “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). He poured out His Spirit on the early Church; He does the same today! Expect it, believe it, look for it.
3. Expect to see the manifestation of the glory of God in the church.
Ephesians 3:21 To Him be glory in the church...
•• Expect and believe God for dramatic manifestations of the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit and the almost tangible sense of the Presence of God.

•• The early church of the Book of Acts was indeed a glorious church. Believe for the same in our day — Habakkuk 3:2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known...

•• The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today! Don't relegate them to "time past" or only to the Pentecost recorded in Acts 2.
4. I anticipate a renewed hunger for the word of God, the Bible.
Acts 17:11 These [Bereans] were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
•• In the remarkable charismatic move that peaked in the decade of the 1970s, millions of young people carried their bibles with them — to church, to coffeehouses, wherever they went. They joined bible studies. Many attended bible schools. They hungered for God’s word.
• I expect to see in our day a restoration of that spiritual hunger for God’s holy word. Among the youth, among the elderly, in every segment of society.

• Expect a new generation of “Bereans”, who “receive the word will all readiness of mind and search the Scriptures daily...”
5. I visualize a generation arising who will honor once again the absolute preeminence of Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.

•• Picture a nation in which Jesus is honored, His Name is heard in reverence rather than in cursing, and the Church bought by His blood is once again the most influential institution in the land.
• These things have happened in time past. Can you believe God to see these things again?
6. Expect to see widespread acceptance of, and many moving into, the full “fivefold” ministry, as well as biblically qualified elders and deacons.
Ephesians 4:11-12 It was he [Jesus] who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

•• The Church has been handicapped for too long by the rejection of contemporary apostles and prophets. It will take all five of the listed ministries to “prepare God’s people for the works of service” that He desires that we do.

•• Are there false apostles out there today? False prophets? Certainly. There were such in the early church as well. But don’t let that dissuade you from embracing all these needed ministries that Jesus has placed in His church for the duration of the Church Age.

•• For further examination of this topic, I recommend our detailed bible study entitled "Are There Modern Day Apostles and Christian Prophets Today?"

7. I anticipate a restoration of the concept of totally “selling out” to the Lord, as we saw in the early Church.
Matthew 19:27, KJV [Peter to Jesus] Behold, we have forsaken all and followed thee.

Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
• Christian researchers today — most notably, George Barna — are seeing the emergence of a growing body of Christian believers who, compared to the complacent, are being tabbed “revolutionaries”. They have a passion for Jesus and a determination to serve Him fully, no matter the cost.
• May a renewed passion for the Lord sweep through our hearts and across this land.
Summary: As in the temple of the Old Testament, may it once more be said of the New Testament “temple” (that is, the church) that “the glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former...” (Haggai 2:9). May God’s heart for spiritual restoration of the Church in our day bring back, and even surpass, the glory we read of in the first-century Church.

Habakkuk 3:2 LORD, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD.
Renew them in our day, in our time
make them known.

About a week ago I had fallen asleep on the couch and when I woke up I heard Him say It's Time!.....I remember at first I was anxious thinking it was "my" time...my number was up....but as my head cleared and I became fully awake the light bulb came on and I jumped up with joy....IT'S TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!
Time for what? The greatest outpour of the Holy Spirit ever! The awakening of those who have fallen asleep in their gifts and callings to be stirred up again and to be used by God mightily.

Then last night I was drifting off to sleep...and He said....WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!
So I was fully awake and began to pray in tongues but I couldn't just pray in tongues I was singing in tongues and when I would try to just speak only song would come out......

If you have ever been used by God in the gifts of the Holy Spirits or were called to witness/minister but gave up and kind of "fell asleep" in that area....He isn't finished with you.
It's time to wake up and stir up the gifts He has given you!
How does one 'stir up the gifts He has given you!' ?

I notice in scripture the Holy Spirit does not draw attention to himself....he defers to Jesus. I have wondered why and I can think of three reasons.

1....because Jesus is the visible manifestation of God and subsequently in him we have the totality of Gods revelation to man.

2.... self focused activity which claims its source as the Holy Spirit is in my view suspect because as Jesus said 'when the Spirit of truth comes he will testify of me', in other words, the Spirit does not testify of himself neither will one filled with his Spirit.

3....the borders become blurred with spiritualism when men focus in on 'the spirit'......this element confuses the work of the Holy Spirit with the work of demons intent on deception.

The evidence of the workings of the Holy Spirit is that self glorification is not present. When or wherever self glorification is present the alarm bells ought be ringing.

What has this to do with waking up? I think the indifference re Jesus return in the Church and its attention to other things is what it is addressing here.
The call to 'Wake Up' is given with the call to 'Get Ready'....the two are not separated.

I hope that you're right H2S, it just seems to be the exact same rhetoric that we've been hearing for centuries. Very ambiguous and clichéd assertions about what God has prophesied to fulfill? If I was to look around me, and be rather selective, yes, I can see positive developments in the Church. But obviously, there's enough tragedy still going on in the world, that's it's just as easy to justify the fact of the suppression of God's Word throughout the world. I think that you're using very selective and mundane proof, it does not have the global impact that you are professing.

If you say that God spoke to you about this, I hope that you're not taking this lightly, or affirming it frivolously? I think that it's a very serious thing. I'd rather hold my peace, than may claims about God that aren't true.
Again H2S, I hope that you're right, ...i guess, time will tell.

You stir up the gifts within you by the laying on of hands and/or diligently seek Him through prayer and worship and obedience to His Word.
I am always happy to share what He has put in my heart and in my spirit...and by visions.
Since I can only testify what my experience was then it is strictly up to you to receive it or reject it.
Now I do not understand how you say this is self glorifying....does His Word speak Truth or not? Does His Word promise to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh in the last days or not? People are turning to Christ all over the world....Hindus, Buddhist, Muslims....atheist....they are hungry for truth...and many have already lost their life for their faith in Jesus.
Well, all I can say is pray and seek Him for an answer and let God be the one to tell you if this is true or not.

HALLELUYAH ! I have only heard about such revivals as you mention, from a few broadcasts on tv or on youtube/media ---
first hand they are overseas and not known locally (in the usa).
THe martyrs are 'key', for reasons developed or posted later.

I get a monthly magazine called The Voice of the Martyrs and the testimonies will make you cry and feel so ashamed that with all the freedom you have to worship God it is pale in comparison to those who love Him even unto death.
