I note that Brother Copeland and Jesse Duplantis is on the minds of some here.

Ya’ called me a hater. I said there was no hate in my heart. You then called me a liar...TWICE...with ZERO evidence. Sooooo what’s going on here?

Copeland rebuked and commanded the Corona virus to be gone over a month ago!

What is wrong with his faith? The virus didn't go away!
I'd say it's the mark of being a false prophet.

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

He looks either crazy or possessed to me. Why is he calling for a heat wave from hell?

Ha, and I was told to be afraid of him lest the earth open and swallow me up as it did when Korah rebelled. Didn't the Copelands learn anything from their experience with measles back in 2013? Didn't their followers learn anything from that?

August 2013 Measles Outbreak Traces To Vaccine-Refusing Megachurch

A measles outbreak in Texas traces to a congregation of a megachurch whose leader, Kenneth Copeland, reportedly has warned followers away from vaccines, advocating for faith healing and pushing the debunked notion that vaccines cause autism. One of Copeland's churches, Eagle Mountain International Church in North Texas, is the epicenter of the outbreak, which now has hit at least 20 people [UPDATE, 8/27/13: now at 21 in north Texas and one new case confirmed in southeast Texas, link to church not established]. . . .

In the wake of the outbreak, the church's pastor and Kenneth Copeland's daughter, Terri Copeland Pearsons, was urging congregants take advantage of a couple of free vaccination clinics the church suddenly has on offer or to self quarantine at home for two weeks if they didn't want to receive vaccinations.

The chain of infection began with a person who traveled somewhere outside the US where measles remains common. Unaware of being infected with the virus, this person then attended services at the church, reportedly even coming in contact with people in the childcare room, which might explain why a 4-month-old baby has been infected.

I didn't know that much about Duplantis before this thread. I found this video of him groping the church secretary in front of the whole congregation. It was almost like he enjoyed being disgusting in public, as a way of proving he could do anything and get away with it.

I wish the women had started screaming at him to stop or maybe gotten up to make him stop. They just sat there with distressed defeated looks on their faces. No man who behaves like this with a woman is godly. I wouldn't excuse it if he groped his wife like that in public. He did it with another man's wife. His joke about exposing himself to someone was also nasty, nasty, nasty. The man is nasty; but people laughed -- what's wrong with them? I didn't find that funny.

Here is another video that shows some unpleasant traits in Duplantis. The anti-woman theme shows up again.

I could not believe how he made fun of an overweight woman. I could not believe how the congregation laughed. What kind of brute would make fun of someone who came to him to be baptized? The whole congregation seems to be under the spell of a spirit that demeans women, who makes fun of them if they're seen as overweight and thus unattractive. It's sexism if you ask me and hatred of the woman; and I find hatred of the woman satanic. The war was predicted to be between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. Those who degrade and despise women show me their father is the serpent.

Then to make maters worse, he relates a story about baptizing a dog. Anyone who respects baptism should be horrified. I remain grateful to the man who baptized me. I see it as my entering the Body of Christ. Can a dog become part of the Body of Christ? Should what is holy be treated with disrespectful comedy? He is trivializing baptism, even scoffing at its value. He convinced me he doesn't have the Spirit of God with his comedy routine. Can a dog repent of its sins? Can a dog receive the Holy Spirit? This man is making fun of the Holy Spirit to me. May God have mercy on him if he repents of this travesty.

I am sure the Good Samaritan was glad he had money to help the man who had been attacked by robbers; and I am glad too when this type of person has money.

He doesn't even contact her boobs ...

I do not like him at all...but just saying ..nah, can't agree on this one..

C'mon all, including myself, I know this is a very controversial topic, I do not agree with everything they do, and do reckon both could do with a bit of humbling, but I do believe that there is power in the tongue when we believe.

KCM's prison ministry was pretty powerful in the late 90s and early 2000s, thousands and thousands turned to Jesus behind prison bars.

Instead of judging both, why don't we pray for God to protect and guide both Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis.

I am. I would want someone to defend me against my haters. Read the title of this post and who this is about. I don't follow the prosperity movement though I am a woman of great faith, but what I do know is the Copelands know the importance of not sinning, and giving to those in need. Their jealous haters are pathetic. Why don't they try standing on the Word of God and believing, rather than publicly speak against those who do?

I cannot Embed this video for whatever reason, but the Copelands help out The Joseph Storehouse, which helps out those that are less fortunate.

I think much of the problem with the haters is they do not believe in works of any kind, thus they don't even try to not sin.
Please stop hurling wild accusations like this. Stop making things up as if you can read minds or are some cheap psychic. I do not make a lot of money and still manage to accomplish some good with what I've been given. I deliver newspapers -- and that income has been declining. I also used to deliver pizzas but haven't for a few months now. I may start that again. Between the income from papers and Social Security, I haven't been adding much lately to the Kiva account. I live in a house where the mortgage payment was $250 a month -- and now it's paid off. I never bought a new car in my life, preferring cheaper used ones. I am not envious of other people. I've been around rich people, know what they're like. I know their material possessions don't make them happy. In a way I do regret never being rich however since if I was rich I could afford to do more charity; but I've managed to do some. Check out my profile at Kiva if you want. Lender > Kerry from Carlisle, PA, United States | Kiva

Check out who I lend to. It delights me to lend to people. When they pay back their loans (if they do), the money gets lent to someone else. You've no idea what you're talking about. I lent once to a man in Yemen who needed a solar power unit so his children could study at night. I knew there was the possibility that the war would affect him, that he might not be able to pay it back. I lent to him anyway, thinking, "If I don't do it, who will?" The war must have hit him. He didn't pay it back. I felt sorry for him, not myself. It also meant I had less money to lend to someone else. I like to lend to Muslims too since I think it helps them feel that Christians don't hate them. Maybe my loans to Muslims will help ease those tensions between Islam and Christianity . . . just a little.

Then there was the woman (I think it was a woman) in the Philippines. The island she lived on got hit by a hurricane. I was amazed she was able to repay the loan. Her honesty impressed me. I asked God to bless her; and I was also grateful to get the money back since then I could lend it again.

Have you ever allowed a homeless person to live with you? I have, more than once. So spare me the accusatory sermons. This thread was allegedly about Copeland and Duplantis. If you want to discuss "works", why not discuss the jets and mansions? Are those good works? You cannot defend such excess, so you attack me and others as a distraction. Somehow you've managed to turn it into an ugly discussion about me, Mary and perhaps some other members by calling names. Why not stay on topic? Why make things personal?

Why not discuss how these people flaunt their wealth? Is that a "good work"? I think not.
