Look at all their good, and ignore the obvious flaws...
Like the daughter of El Chapo in Mexico? She's recently been doing charity work.

El Chapo's daughter, Mexican cartels hand out coronavirus aid

In one video posted on Facebook, Guzman’s daughter, Alejandrina, can be seen stuffing toilet paper and food into a cardboard box bearing slick logos and a designer stencil-style image of her father, the former Sinaloa cartel chief who is now in a maximum security U.S. prison.

The oil, sugar, rice and other items in the boxes, which the video narrator calls “Chapo’s provisions”, were distributed in Mexico’s second largest city, Guadalajara, in western Jalisco state.

Alejandrina’s handout was linked to her company, which legally markets clothing and alcohol associated with her father’s image under the “El Chapo 701” brand.

However, active members of cartels have also been courting publicity, with images and video on social media showing gang members providing succor to local residents.

Famed for brutality, including beheadings and dissolving victims in vats of sulphuric acid, the cartels also have a history of trying to win over hearts and minds of impoverished communities where they operate.

Using the logic of some people, she must be a saint -- she's rich so she's blessed by God, and look at her acts of charity. Maybe she's not rich. Her father used to be worth an estimated one billion dollars. I figure she has money stashed somewhere.

OP ^

It appears to me, Preachers who have gained wealth (as like ANY person who has gained Wealth and in the public eye, are scrutinized and criticized.)

When...the public criticizes Another having Wealth...
1) How their Wealth is Gained...
2) What the Wealthy Do...with their wealth...

It's really nobody's business...Unless, the one criticizing, is the one himself who is financially Contributing to the other person's Wealth....THEN..."that person" has the Option to Stop Contributing.

Personally, I do not care Who is Wealthy,
Nor care to put them on the spot to Defend themselves of how they gained Wealth, Nor make it my business to Dictate What "they" should be doing with their Wealth.

Scripture Teaches:
* Don't concern yourself with What an other Has financially gained.
* Personally gained Money and Possessions, will Not be loaded in a U-haul and accompany you to your next Life destination.
* The Only Treasures awaiting a man IN Heaven, are Rewards From God, for having Glorified His Name on Earth.

Personally...I do not care for Copeland's or Duplantis' teaching method/style. Obviously others do. That lands on everyone having FREEWILL to follow after what they individually Choose.

Personally, Whether an other person be friend or foe, known or unknown...
I believe God desires all Believers Committed to the Lord God Almighty to Pray for all men to Hear the Word of God that "they" might also Become Committed Believers IN the Lord God Almighty.

Glory to God,
Taken

I was apathetic to it at one point, until I witnessed it exploit someone I loved.

Point proven in post #269.

At least it was someone else doing the talking. ;)
If he wanted to keep it a secret, he could asked the people not to mention him. I did find this interesting number however.

KCM Donates to Frontline Hospitals for Needed COVID-19 Supplies - Kenneth Copeland Ministries Blog

After contacting Danielle, Brother Copeland learned that two hospitals she worked at were in desperate need of equipment and medical supplies. As a result, Kenneth Copeland Ministries donated $25K to both the University Hospital in Newark, N.J., and the St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, N.J. Glory to God!

But there’s even more to this story. When Danielle delivered the news to one of the doctors at the hospital—that needed supplies and equipment would be coming and it was made possible by Kenneth Copeland Ministries—she shouted, “I’ve been a Partner with KCM for years!” She was the doctor crying out to God for needed supplies, and she’s a Partner with this ministry!

If you’re in need today, be encouraged. God hears your prayers, and He has a plan to meet every need!

Additionally, KCM helped purchase a large amount of Personal Protective Equipment and masks for the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

If you are a Partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, it’s because you pray and because you give that these donations to frontline hospitals needing COVID-19 supplies were possible. Thank you for helping us impact lives all over the world, and we pray that you will receive a hundredfold return on every seed sown!

Somehow 25k to both hospitals didn't impress me.

Maybe this satisfied some of his critic's?

Believe God's Word and obey! Hear the very words of Jesus===
Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you will be judged.

Hear the words of Jesus! === "Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Matthew 7:6.

Believe God's Word and obey! Make that judgement call as to who are DOGS and SWINE!

2 Peter 2:2-3 KJV
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. [3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. [17] And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

Paul's instructions to ministers in 1 Timothy 6:5 and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

That's why I need a ministry-funded 17 Million Dollar jet!

His humble abode where he is content with food and clothing:

How could he ever fit a Rolls Royce, an Escalade and a Maybach Benz in such a small garage?

Having money and wealth is not bad, but it smells if the profits come from begging people to send money to your Ministry!

Compassion for others is a good thing.
And yes we all have choices, and everyone experiences making choices based on something we thought trustworthy only to discover, the trust was not warranted.

It is sad when people on secular television know more than ministers. Should we say something like Jesus wouldn't be riding a donkey if he was on the earth today? The prophet says he did that to show his humility. This "secular" guy seems to get it better than these ministers.

Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

It is not a matter of defending someone against "haters," but being honest about false teachers and false prophets. According to Scripture, one can be a prophet and speak for God, but the one single time they give a false prophecy in God's name, they are to be stoned. I didn't see that part in Scripture where we are to look back 20 years to their effective prison ministry and say that it is justification to teach false things, make false claims, and to give an obviously erroneous prophecy.

Yes, we should pray for those that fall into error. Copeland has had a lifetime to repent. In the 40 years I have listened to an occasional sermon from him, I early on found much (not all) of what he said to be edifying. I didn't see too many grave errors when I first started listening to him, but in the past 20 years he has only become more dangerously unhinged and unreliable over time. People pray for him, and he only gets worse. My concern and prayers are for the multitudes of people that he has deceived and have been duped by him.

Look at all their good, and ignore the obvious flaws...

The majority of people against any Pentecostal sect have turned grace into licentiousness. They haven't.

What should that matter!?
If those being watched (OR ARE BEING SUPPORTED)
are guilty, living in and promoting darkness , then the instructions FROM GOD ARE >>>
Ephesians 5:11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds ...
Ephesians 5:11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Berean Literal Bible And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even expose them. New American Standard Bible

Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;
What should that matter to you. We are not to let the right hand know what the left hand gives.

Why wasn't it kept a secret then? Why were we told the amount of money given to other charitable projects? Oh yes, give that hospital $25,000 while we spend millions on a jet -- and have a huge pile of wealth personally.

All the private planes of televangelist Kenneth Copeland

If your pastor owns a private jet, you should find a new church. And if your favorite televangelist says he can’t fly commercial because a public airplane is “a long tube with a bunch of demons,” well, why are we still talking about this?

Yet, somehow, this needs to be said, considering televangelist and scammer Kenneth Copeland still has a large following and a net worth of $760 million. Did I mention that he owns three jets thanks to his distaste for demons?

Why advertise the project to help Haiti and then never have it happen?

What I can see is large amounts of money being spent on jets and houses. They're not ashamed to let people know how much they cost. When I see them hiding the amounts donated to charity, it looks like a racket to me.

It matters to me when churches may be violating the law for one thing. Currently the LDS church is being investigated by the IRS. I think that's a good thing. Churches are given tax-free status because they're supposed to be charitable organizations. When I see so much wealth with so little evidence of charity, I wonder if they might be more of a money making racket than a charity. It matters since that means everyone else's taxes are higher.
