Israel 6th Day War Of Miracles

Luke 21 This generation will not pass away until all things are fulfilled.

Some living in 1967 will witness Jesus return.

Your conclusion on "this generation" is not backed up with the Luke or Matthew passages on the same teaching event.

The Greek word has more to do with a prolong period of time, i.e. and age which is a little longer than 1,000 years, than is does with the short period of a descendant generation.

The reference to the "summer season" beginning a specific time after the Fig Tree begins to bud tells us when the next age of harvest of souls begins and this is the generation/age in sight in both Gospels. Sadly, the understanding that you are using to determine your conclusion that some who were living during the 1957 six day war will see Jesus's return, is the normal understanding of the said passage, but Jesus's return is not until the end of the Age of the seven ages. That event is still over 1,000 years into our future.

You're just not paying attention. The Mark is soon to come. It's happening right under your nose. It's been over 50 years since the Jews took total control of Jerusalem. Some living then will witness Jesus return!

So be it, bury you head in the sands of rebellion against the word of God and what it actually states.

Good luck.

You never heard of Jerusalem Day in 1967? You will.

kcnaip, have you understood the implications of Genesis 15:16? What are the implications of this verse? Do you understand what it is telling us about God's Salvation Plan for the nation of Israel?

What is so difficult about reading "generation" as meaning the same thing as when that word "generation" is used elsewhere in the Bible?

Willie, if the English translation was our source document for the scriptures, I would agree with you, but it is a translation of the Hebrew or Greek texts and as such, the translation may not bear the same contextual message as the source text being translated initially provided. You have tried to understand a service manual of a Chinese's manufactured product. It ends up being all Chinese for us, even though they have attempted to translate the instructions in Chinese into our English language. The bible translations are a bit like that as well.

I'm more concerned about what Paul said about Israel.

Romans 11:25-27
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

So that tells me you do not know the true story of the return of Abraham's descendants to the land of Canaan without God's help as this prophetic verse tells us.

How does quoting the NT tell you all that? Do you reject the NT?

I asked you what the Genesis 15:16 prophecy told you about Israel's return in 1948 to the "Promised Land." You did not answer the question about the 1948 return of some of Abraham's descendants but instead quoted the NT about an event that is going to occur around 90 to 100 years after the budding of the Fig Tree when the prophesised time span of the Daniel 8:10-14 prophecy of the Heathen Gentiles trampling the Sanctuary of God and His hosts on the earth being fulfilled as a sign post marker of when God would gather the nation of Israel to himself where they are scattered all over the earth and then they all will be saved.

Luke 19:12-14 also gives us a clue as to when the citizens of a walled city will rebel against against Satan/the Little Horn, when Satan goes away into the Abyss, near by, for a long time, claiming that he is simply going away to obtain a kingdom, and he provides the means for his good and faithful servants to occupy his position of influence through the use of "his money," over the other citizens of the earth. The citizens of the walled city, i.e. Jerusalem, send a delegation after Satan has left to plead their case for not having Satan as a ruler over them.

It is at this point in this parable, that we know that all of Israel will be saved.

Then Jesus jumps around 1,000 years into the future in this parable, when Satan/the Little Horn/False Prophet returns back to the place of influence he had left, re-establishes he authority over his good and faithful servants, and he givens them authority over cities according to the level of oppression they had exercised while he was away, and then commands that the citizens of the walled city, who did not want him to reign over them, be brought to him to be killed before him.

In an earlier parable, in Luke 14, about who could be a disciple of Jesus, He tells the Jewish audience, that they will attempt to rebuild the Temple, but that they will not have the means politically to complete this task that they will set themselves and that the Heathen nations will come up against them to a place that can be seen from Jerusalem, but that they see a King in battle with the Kings of the Heathen Nations, judging them, and that after consideration as to whether or not they in their own strength could beat this Ling in battle with the nations of the earth, they decide that it is best for them to seek the terms of peace that this King has, and to comply with those terms for peace.

It is at this point in time when all of Israel will be saved and gathered unto the Lord after the completion of the visitation of Israel's iniquities against God since the time of their existence, for a period of two ages is completed.

Paul, in Romans 11:25-26 is also pointing to this same time marker in man's history, as to when all of Israel will be saved.

It is when Israel enters into the Summer Season, in repentance to God and on His terms, that God will make like new again the same covenant with them that He had made at Mt Sinai to be a Kingdom of Priests, a Holy Nation and His Possession among the Nations so that they can be a blessing to all of the people of the earth. This is the Generation of people, i.e. the Millennium Age, that is referred to by Jesus in Matthew 24:34 and Luke 21:32, that will not pass away until all the things that He had prophesised had come to pass.

That was why I had said, that you did not understand or know the story about the Salvation of Israel in our near future.

Do I believe and accept what we are told in the NT? Certainly, I do, just as I believe what we are told will happen in the OT. Sadly, our biases colours how we understand the story that is to still unfolding if front of our eyes.

At present we are seeing the nations being gathered to assemble at Armageddon within the next 20-30 years to be Judged along with the rebelling heavenly hosts in heaven and as foretold by Isaiah in Isaiah 24:21-23 the wicked heavenly hosts and the Kings and their armies of the earth will be gathered together an imprisoned in the pit for many days at this time to await their time of punishment.

The question is, How will the earth respond to the display of God's power in our near future, when we have so much of the story line wrong?

Shalom

Your response is a false argument against what I have posted above. Do you really have anything else to substantiate what you are posting or are you simply defending your web page based on a flawed understanding of the scriptures with your personalised attack.

Perhaps it is the all that you are capable of.

You totally evaded what I said and the Scriptures.

What did you say and what scriptures are you referring to?

A little more communication of what you are asking would help me to understanding what you are trying to say what I was evading.
