To All,

Why is it that so many topics evolve into name calling? Can't we address the facts as Scripture and History present without any suppositions, opinions, feelings, and conjecture?

Either an assertion can be substantiated as TRUE, and if it can't be substantiated then it's NOT true.

... and these people call themselves "Christians" ...
Bobby Jo

Sometimes it is important to identify an arrogant dumb***.

You defy the Scriptures (the literal Text), History, and the angel's specific instructions (Ref. 12:4 & 9).

But other than that, you're exactly correct.
Bobby Jo

No, I believe the Scriptures.

To "believe the Scriptures" you have to know what they say. So first of all, the angel says in 12:4 & 9 that the prophecies are modern, -- for when we have instant knowledge literally at our fingertips (computer); and when men would travel some 60 to 600 mph.

Were both of these available in ~480BC?

And when you're ready, let's talk about you being invited to go for a ride in a "cool" car, where you run to grab a coat, hat, gloves, and scarf.

And regarding your "spirit", people (not just me) can see exactly what you are and what you aren't. :)

No, that would mean you had to know and understand everything the Bible says. I happen to still be learning. But, I believe the Scripture. All of it.

(Daniel 12:4,9) are ancient prophecies of the Bible. Their fulfillment will be in the end time.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Smart answer. GOD provides Prophecy so that we can be forewarned, but you don't need any "warnings". -- You conform to the depiction of: Some say that that EXPERIENCE is the best teacher, but actually it's the WORSE teacher because it gives you the "test" before it gives your the "lesson".

So DON'T listen to GOD's warnings. Be SURPRISED:

1 Thess. 5:3 When people say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as travail comes upon a woman with child, and there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief.

Good Luck,

The discussion involved the 70 weeks of (Dan. 9). I have explained that there is a gap between the 69th week and the 70th week. And that gap is still growing.

I gave example of how it is common for God to give a prophecy but yet there can be a time element involved that is not understood till later. I compared (Is. 61:2) to (Luke 4:16-19).

Therefore, 69 weeks have been fulfilled concerning Daniels prophecy. There remains 1 week left, or 7 years. That week is what we call the Tribulation period, or the time of Jacobs trouble.

We are not in the Tribulation now. The Church is still present. The anti-christ hasn't been revealed. The temple is not there and is not being built.

If you have anything meaningful to say for or against this, say on.

More name calling? And you're a Christian, -- REALLY?

Bobby Jo

I could easily suggest that of you. You're the one who is insanely hostilie and insulting to fellow Christians here on this forum. The *only* reason I name call and disparage you is because you're so insulting and hostile to any position other than your own. Change that, and we'll be fine--maybe even friendly?

You have the book, and therefore access to the Scholars. Why don't you believe them? Young wrote his own concordance, and he cites Keil & Kliefoth IN AGREEMENT. But Walvoord IGNORES all three as though they didn't exist.

"Experts" often give FALSE answers, rather than have NO ANSWERS, -- when it's better to simply acknowledge something which can't be explained.

And now that we're in the End Times, the explanation is available.

How much time do you think God works with? If the 7 +1 of Genesis 1-2 indicates anything, perhaps 8000 years is enough?

Now, the first 1000 years of perfection ended because of disobedience. The last 1000 years has not started. That leaves 6000 in the middle. Now it is 2020. The historians claim 4000+ years of seemingly unbroken written history BC. How much more past 6000 years can we stuff into God's time? Satan has convinced us all that science has figured out 14 billion years stuffed into this 6000 year time frame. YEC tried to expose Satan. How many more attempts does God need to wake us up, if we reject both spiritual and physical deception of Satan? God says Satan cannot be revealed now. He does not say when. It could be when the church leaves or not?

We are in the opening of the seals part of Revelation. Call this tribulation or not. The 4th seal has over 2 billion humans killed. Is that the wake up call you are looking for? The 5th and 6th seal is the Rapture. Then all the world, everyone, will see God on the throne and the Lamb.

No one will have an excuse, yet most will get used to seeing God on the throne and the Lamb walking around again on the earth. Life will return to normal, and just like in Egypt God will send judgment after judgment to remind those on earth that yes, indeed he does exist. Some will still believe God does not exist. The Israelites built an idol right in front of God, like He was not even there. Satan has been working in person behind the scenes for 2500 years. The deception runs deep.

... If ever I found you a nice person I must've got the wrong person!

It that happens, -- you've found a mirror.

Bobby Jo

To All,
What kind of person would postulate nonsense, present it as TRUTH, and then say he didn't know if it was true or not? This isn't INTEGRITY, it's idiocy.

Scripture says says we will be held accountable for every idle word we speak, but some individuals leak every idle thought out their mouth as though it were GOD's TRUTH, only to find he had NO CLUE what he was thinking. It makes you wonder if that person can think at all.

You surely have a "root of bitterness" in your life. If ever I can help you, let me know.

I expected such a reply. You talk a lot. Make a lot of noise. But...nothing there. Do yourself a favor and do your own study. Then maybe you can represent your position.

Explain your 7+1 in (Gen. 1-2).

Concerning the gap between the 69th and 70th week, that is up to God. Not me or you. It's not a question of how much time does God need. It's a question of how much time He wants to allow.

No, we are not in any of the opening of the seals of the book of (Revelation). As I said before, the Church is still here. The anti-christ has not been revealed. There is no temple or even the agreement to made for the Jews to rebuild the temple.

I agree. No one will have an excuse. And yes, satan is always behind the scenes working towards his goal.
