It takes time and effort for a person to gain the insight and knowledge to be able to deal with autistic people according to their disability...and not everyone wants to put forth that time and effort; and neither should they be required to.Thank you for your unexpert and unhelpful advice.
I consider that the Holy Spirit is better able to deal with you as an individual and that, since I have never put forth the time and effort to learn how to deal with autistics, that I am currently unqualified to deal with you. That may change in the future. In the meantime, I believe that the Holy Spirit is able to bridge the gap and that I ought not to be lambasted over the fact that I have not come across this problem before and that therefore I don't have training in how to deal with autistic people.
I don't feel that I need training...for when it comes to ministering the word of the Lord, the Holy Spirit is the One who is hopefully doing the ministering in any given situation. But I do not feel inclined to argue with someone who may or may not understand my points. You may be highly intelligent and able to grasp every point that I might present to you in a conversation...but the possibility that your disability might prevent you from being able to fully grasp what I am trying to say makes me less than willing to put forth the effort.
