. False teachers believe that grace is the blood of Jesus covering our sins AS we keep on sinning and not imputing any sin to us.
Yes still denying Grace, grace isnt for the perfect they dont need it, it is not for the righteous or the sinless they dont need grace to cover their sins, grace is for the imperfect those who need a saviour,

Jesus Christ full of grace and truth, still denied by so many. Sorry people, according to some Jesus doesnt have enough grace for you, so go and perfect yourselves. What HE did was not enough, you have to finish all the work.

For me it was instant. It is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Believe me, it was astounding. I wasn't even expecting it.

That is not to say we are perfect. Perfection comes from the life-long process of doing 2 Peter 1:5-7. It is also from growing in the knowledge of the Word of God. Philippians 3:16 and always living according to the level of that knowledge.
Got that, I have a close friend that tells me this is something I’ve yet to receive, because I lack the whole speaking in tongues thing.

A funny thing happened where I was fellowshipping once... some people became legalistic about grace. Just as well I knew what to do...!

1Pe 4:10 As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Charismatics, if nothing else, love to talk about their extra bup'tism and their tongues.
Programmed like robots, they all sound just the same, every single time one shows up.
They simply can't be un-programmed

Paul teaches in Romans 4 that God does not charge sin to the born again.
Thank you for again proving that you have no use for Paul, have no understanding of the Blood Atonement, and just love to hear yourself teach anything that isn't related to truth.
You have certainly mastered all that, charismaticlady.

We can't finish the work. It is only by the POWER that Jesus gives us when He takes away all our desire to sin. The type of grace you are talking about is for the unsaved. But there is a higher grace that is HIS POWER for those who are made the children of God. They are no longer sinners, like the unsaved who need a Savior. Christians already HAVE a Savior, and He has become their Lord.

Got that, I have a close friend that tells me this is something I’ve yet to receive, because I lack the whole speaking in tongues thing.

Well, I was given many abilities I never had before. The first was hearing His voice so clearly, I was shocked. Immediately thereafter He gave me a vision of what was hindering me. So I repented right there, and I asked Him a question. And He spoke again - 8 sentences. Then it happened. I physically felt the Holy Spirit fully engulf me from the top of my head and down to the bottom of my feet. All the weight of my sin nature lifted off me. I felt light as a feather. I even looked down at my feet to see if they were still on the floor. (They were. LOL) But the sin nature that left was replaced with a completely new mind set. He gave me the mind of Christ as I now know from Scripture, and 2 Peter 1:2-4 shows me that I am partaking now of the divine nature.

As far as speaking in tongues, I don't consider that to be the evidence of being baptized with the Holy Spirit. I consider the new nature being the evidence; the freedom from sin. That was Wednesday night, but that Sunday I did speak in tongues for the first time. I also waited on His voice before I prayed for anyone (to know His will) and since then all my prayers are answered.

What an awful thing to say to someone. I know Christ was a little rough with folks at times but He is God, after all, and He often wept over those whom He upbraided. You seem to enjoy it. Do you ever weep? Have I got you all wrong?

Weep for people who use forums like this one to pretend they are "gifted", while they lie to unskilled believers in an attempt to drag them into their deceptive web.

Let me lay some spiritual groundwork for you, barnyfife/
Do not exit thinking or believing that "kind talk" and "sweet manners" define God's love in a person.
If you do that, you'll stay right where you are, never being able to discern who is lying to you.

Now, what you should have done.....instead of getting emotionally caught up in my "tone", was get out your New Testament.
Do you have one?
Then GET IT, and Read Romans 4:8. and you'll discover that the PROPHET DAVID....... yeah that one.. He was more the just a King, he was a anointed prophet......
God gave King David the revelation of what was coming to the "time of the gentles".
God gave David the revelation of "justification by faith", and once David saw it as a REVELATION, he spoke about it, and then Paul used this prophetic utterance to define the STATE of a Believer's Grace in God., as David said..>"blessed is the man to whom the Lord (God) will not charge them with their sin".

"will not charge them.........will not hold them accountable........will not IMPUTE their SIN to the born again".

Thats DOCTRINE.. .Paul Teaching.....David speaking prophetically.

So, charismaticlady just denied this, and said the opposite, which is teaching a DECEPTION on a CHRISTIAN FORUM .
She'll probably go back and edit out her post, but its TOO LATE, as i have it in MINE, as a response, and she can't HIDE THAT ONE.
So, what she'll do is walk it back, and spin it, and pretend its "not what i meant,">..... blah, blah, blah...>.

Now, you take your time and accurately judge who is who and what is what, and all you have to do is just follow where i show you to read.

I didnt just rebuke this person's deception sharply, i actually showed where it is occurring, so that any real believer can take 12 seconds and find out for themselves who is doing WHAT on this forum.

Don't worry, he can't hurt me. Just feel sorry for him and his lack of understanding, and hopefully, he will read a post that will touch him. He constantly uses Romans 4 (a chapter in the middle of Paul's eight chapter teaching on sin and the Law) but doesn't understand the conclusion.

Romans 4: (This is talking about the blood of bulls and goats under the Law).
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered;
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

Hebrews 9:
13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hebrews 10:
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

Behold believes grace is merely a covering like under the Law, and has no idea of the power of Jesus that He gives to those who come to Him to take away even the desire to sin so that they no longer sin. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ has freed me from the law of sin and death.

Behold - freedom to sin.
Jesus - freedom from sin.

  • Any teacher that uses the term "covered" regarding grace believes a false doctrine. They deny the true power of Jesus to take away sin. 1 John 3:5
Both @Behold and @mjrhealth uses this term - "covered."

mjrhealth: Yes still denying Grace, grace isnt for the perfect they dont need it, it is not for the righteous or the sinless they dont need grace to cover their sins, grace is for the imperfect those who need a saviour,

I hope I don't talk to people the way you do when I grow up. So you don't weep then. Well, I guess everyone has a right to be like Jesus in their own way.

You're always talking to people like they haven't even become a Christian yet and as if you've been one for a thousand years. Have I asked you before how many converts to your brand of Christianity you've won here? I've noticed you're not big on giving straightforward answers, anyway.

Galatians 5
22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23) gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

I'm with you in principle, but isn't this kind of a sweeping generalization? I've heard this from many good teachers and preachers who didn't believe in cheap grace. After all, even if we never ever sinned after conversion, isn't the grace at work in covering our pre-conversion sin(s) something to shout and sing about? :)

No, it was just a question about compassion, in general.

You couldn't be more wrong about my emotional state.

You cherry-picked a text that appears to oppose one of hers. Congratulations.

They are no longer sinners because of Grace, it is grace that covers one sins. Grace doesnt end when one comes to Christ it has only just started. When you stand before Him you will find the only reason why you are there is Grace. And the only reason why He sees no sin is because He has cast them as far as the east is from the west. You may have come out of religion but you stll have religion in you. Grace is by faith that none can boast.
