Yes still denying Grace, grace isnt for the perfect they dont need it, it is not for the righteous or the sinless they dont need grace to cover their sins, grace is for the imperfect those who need a saviour,. False teachers believe that grace is the blood of Jesus covering our sins AS we keep on sinning and not imputing any sin to us.
Got that, I have a close friend that tells me this is something I’ve yet to receive, because I lack the whole speaking in tongues thing. For me it was instant. It is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Believe me, it was astounding. I wasn't even expecting it.
That is not to say we are perfect. Perfection comes from the life-long process of doing 2 Peter 1:5-7. It is also from growing in the knowledge of the Word of God. Philippians 3:16 and always living according to the level of that knowledge.
Dont have to speak in tongues to have the Holy Spirit, He is there to teach you.Got that, I have a close friend that tells me this is something I’ve yet to receive, because I lack the whole speaking in tongues thing.
He says he had to do it to satisfy his critics.Dont have to speak in tongues to have the Holy Spirit, He is there to teach you.
Hence the qualifier: By the way
Appreciate your confidence.
I agree and I speak in tongues! Give God the glory!Dont have to speak in tongues to have the Holy Spirit, He is there to teach you.

Jesus Christ full of grace and truth, still denied by so many. Sorry people, according to some Jesus doesnt have enough grace for you, so go and perfect yourselves. What HE did was not enough, you have to finish all the work.

What an awful thing to say to someone. I know Christ was a little rough with folks at times but He is God, after all, and He often wept over those whom He upbraided. You seem to enjoy it. Do you ever weep? Have I got you all wrong?Thank you for again proving that you have no use for Paul, have no understanding of the Blood Atonement, and just love to hear yourself teach anything that isn't related to truth.
Would you care to give us a summary view of the Blood Atonement?understanding of the Blood Atonement

I hope I don't talk to people the way you do when I grow up. So you don't weep then. Well, I guess everyone has a right to be like Jesus in their own way.Weep for people who use forums like this one to pretend they are "gifted", while they lie to unskilled believers in an attempt to drag them into their deceptive web.
Let me lay some spiritual groundwork for you, barnyfife/
Do not exit thinking or believing that "kind talk" and "sweet manners" define God's love in a person.
If you do that, you'll stay right where you are, never being able to discern who is lying to you.
Now, what you should have done.....instead of getting emotionally caught up in my "tone", was get out your New Testament.
Do you have one?
Then GET IT, and Read Romans 4:8. and you'll discover that the PROPHET DAVID....... yeah that one.. He was more the just a King, he was a anointed prophet......
God gave King David the revelation of what was coming to the "time of the gentles".
God gave David the revelation of "justification by faith", and once David saw it as a REVELATION, he spoke about it, and then Paul used this prophetic utterance to define the STATE of a Believer's Grace in God., as David said..>"blessed is the man to whom the Lord (God) will not charge them with their sin".
"will not charge them.........will not hold them accountable........will not IMPUTE their SIN to the born again".
Thats DOCTRINE.. .Paul Teaching.....David speaking prophetically.
So, charismaticlady just denied this, and said the opposite, which is teaching a DECEPTION on a CHRISTIAN FORUM .
She'll probably go back and edit out her post, but its TOO LATE, as i have it in MINE, as a response, and she can't HIDE THAT ONE.
So, what she'll do is walk it back, and spin it, and pretend its "not what i meant,">..... blah, blah, blah...>.
Now, you take your time and accurately judge who is who and what is what, and all you have to do is just follow where i show you to read.
I didnt just rebuke this person's deception sharply, i actually showed where it is occurring, so that any real believer can take 12 seconds and find out for themselves who is doing WHAT on this forum.
I'm with you in principle, but isn't this kind of a sweeping generalization? I've heard this from many good teachers and preachers who didn't believe in cheap grace. After all, even if we never ever sinned after conversion, isn't the grace at work in covering our pre-conversion sin(s) something to shout and sing about? :)Any teacher that uses the term "covered" regarding grace believes a false doctrine.
amazingyou'll stay right where you are, never being able to discern who is lying to you.

No, it was just a question about compassion, in general.Weep for people who use forums like this one to pretend they are "gifted", while they lie to unskilled believers in an attempt to drag them into their deceptive web.
You couldn't be more wrong about my emotional state. Now, what you should have done.....instead of getting emotionally caught up in my "tone",
even more amazementget out your New Testament.

You mean you're not into dispensationalism?God gave David the revelation of "justification by faith"
You cherry-picked a text that appears to oppose one of hers. Congratulations. So, charismaticlady just denied this, and said the opposite, which is teaching a DECEPTION on a CHRISTIAN FORUM .

They are no longer sinners because of Grace, it is grace that covers one sins. Grace doesnt end when one comes to Christ it has only just started. When you stand before Him you will find the only reason why you are there is Grace. And the only reason why He sees no sin is because He has cast them as far as the east is from the west. You may have come out of religion but you stll have religion in you. Grace is by faith that none can boast. We can't finish the work. It is only by the POWER that Jesus gives us when He takes away all our desire to sin. The type of grace you are talking about is for the unsaved. But there is a higher grace that is HIS POWER for those who are made the children of God. They are no longer sinners, like the unsaved who need a Savior. Christians already HAVE a Savior, and He has become their Lord.
