They insert days, to keep in sync with the seasons, but still attend synagogue every 7 days despite the insertion of something like an additional 28 days over the year.

don't think there was a great deal of outward righteous behavior when they were bustling Jesus toward a cliff top... Conspiring to kill Him... Paying judas to be a traitor... Screaming crucify Him, crucify Him"", unjustly going through a farce of a trial... Persecuting His followers and killing them and jailing them...
They may have observed religious requirements like keeping feasts and killing lambs etc, but I wouldn't mistake that for fulfilling outwardly righteous requirements of the law. And there are many who religiously observe the ten commandments but that isn't righteousness.

I will hold to what Jesus meant when He spoke of the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees...I don't think that He was commenting on how unrighteous they really were; but on how righteous we have to be in order to enter the kingdom. And the fact remains that the scribes and Pharisees were sticklers for the law...and therefore their righteousness according to the law was impeccable. Consider Paul's testimony og his life before Christ as a Pharisee:

Phl 3:4, Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
Phl 3:5, Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
Phl 3:6, Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Don't shift the goal posts, it's YOU who are not inspired by the Spirit of Christ!

The spirit within us, lady, is wicked, so wicked it will lie to us it is the Spirit of the Divine. It CANNOT be The Divine Spirit if it is in us. Simple as that.

I suggest that you read 1 Corinthians 6:17 and Ephesians 3:19; as well as 2 Timothy 1:14.

Colossians 1:27, Ephesians 3:17, and Galatians 2:20, all testify of "Christ in me"...

I do agree, but not for reasons you might suspect. My primary reason for obeying sabbath and food laws is found in Romans 15:1.

The Bible tells us Jesus created the heavens and the earth and is God with us. Many religions and cults deny this, leaving them godless, unable to keep the law themselves and so are destined for eternal damnation.

These same people then attack the one faith that offers a solution according to the law and the prophets, and proceed to promote their own religion, while denying the true God, so leading people away from the Good Shepherd, and doing Satan's work for him.

I do not know how the Jews arrived at Saturday, especially as each 'day' of creation, meaning a period of time, took billions of years. We are in the seventh day now and still going. It is an exceedingly long day.
