I may not be the most mature in the faith here but discerning these things as evil is obvious to me.
With an open heart, you younger/younger in the faith members need to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to make it clear to you to discern good vs. evil and be willing to give it up when convicted. Once convicted, writing off the conviction like you're writing off the instruction of your elders here, would lead you further into darkness.

You started a thread here asking for peoples opinions and when they gave it to you, you threw it out without weighing it in first. That is the difference.
There is a reason older believers have come to these conclusions concerning these things the Holy Spirit has taught us.
Mature believers have learned how to discern good vs. evil. It would be wise to weigh in the wisdom of your elders.

That's the problem, you're not willing to learn from your elders. Re-read the posts on the last page and a half on here and pray and seek God with an open heart.

Team Adventure has valid points in these posts here. Of course I do not expect you to take onboard what an older person says just because they are older or say so and I don't think that's what TA had in mind either.....he said 'weigh it in', that is, get familiar with God's word on these matters and consider direction given.

Without familiarity of God's Word you become vulnerable to any smooth operator......and there are many who claim insight but are blind guides.

The three H's listed (at least some horror movies) have to do with the occult. We've been so conditioned to accept elements of the occult, but it is not child's play, and anyone who partakes is playing with fire.

Aye... back before I was born already the softening of people for the hard stuff had begun. Everyone it seems loves the Wizard of Oz produced in color in 1939. They had a 'good' witch [what is a 'good' witch?] as well an evil one. And then many years later on TV along came the very cute program "Bewitched" who with a twitch of her nose caused...??? Those are extremely mild compared to what even our commercials on TV are today.

People for the most part today are zombies, [walking dead] never having met the Master to take on Life. Now with literally hundreds of TV stations available in fiction, the zombies, witches and the vampires are anything but mild... even in their advertisements. I cannot even watch a 'good' program without being subjected to the XX rated commercials. When I want to watch a better program any more it is easier to put in one of my very old movies on VCR tape or DVD. Even in many of those I now see things which I did not notice as a child. What kind of evil do people place before their children's eyes these days, and the children so used to such filth, do not even notice...?

1...Spiritualism will and is joining hands with nominal Christianity; people will have communion with evil spirits thinking they are having communion with the Holy Spirit.
2...God's Law will be attacked even from those inside Christianity; people will and do manufacture all manner of reasons to disobey, even using God's own word to that end.

Revelation 16:14. 'For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty'

More and more to those who can see and hear, it is perceived that the wide way to destruction is heavily traveled by people at least claiming to be followers of Jesus. When we listen to them what are we able to hear? When we look at them, what are we able to see? Or perhaps a better question might be, What is their vision? Do they even have one?

"Where there is no vision, the people perish..." Prov 28:18

And then who is leading them?

Much worse it will soon get . just watch till the equality act gets passed .

yes indeed much worse will it soon get .
When the law passes , they will come for the sites and churches . They will come in as feigned men and women of truth
but will be there to expose and to report . mark those words well .
If we think they all about love and tolerance , try asking the cake baker . they sought him out to destroy him .
